A very nice venue. Megan does a fine job and John is also very attentive. The onion rings are superb and the Dover sole was excellent. The desert souffles are simply to die for, outstanding in every way. Will certainly return.

Really wonderful food. The place was recommended by neighbors and honestly, the exterior is deceiving. The building was an old Taco Bell but the inside has been transformed. We are going to start going there all the time. Ask for Maude as your server. She’s lovely and knowledgeable.

They have a wide selection of interesting appetizers. The burnt belly bites were awesome and the beef tenderloin egg rolls were also tasty. We had two very nice salads, then went on to entree. My wife had the lobster risotto with a lobster tail on the side , I had the sesame crusted yellowfin tuna. Both were beautifully presented, fresh, and delicious

Atmosphere is warm and cozy. We were seated promptly. Fabulous wine and cocktail menu. Our waiter, Josh, was friendly, prompt and not intrusive. The food was wonderful. Absolutely the best dining experience we have had in 2022.

It’s been a while since we last visited NEXT, and that was a mistake. We started with a 2010 Montes red blend which was excellent. My wife had a very good cup of French onion soup and I enjoyed the Bourbon burnt pork belly appetizer which was as succulent as it was decadent. I had the Niman Ranch Double Pork Chop which was very good, but my wife ordered sesame crusted yellowfin tuna which was the star of the dinner. I tasted a bite (that’s all she’d give me) and we agreed it was the best rendition of this classic tuna preparation we’d ever tasted. We finished up sharing a truly outstanding Grand Marnier Soufflé. The entire dinner was expertly and cordially served by our waiter (John I believe). This restaurant is the very definition of "neighborhood gem." and we intend not wait so long to return to NEXT.

Always great food and service. I guess the only thing I am ever disappointed about is they are almost always out of the wine I select. Their wine list is big but many times they don’t have what I want. Last night, I had to go to the fourth wine I picked. This takes lots of time and is irritating. Otherwise, great restaurant.

I made a reservation via OpenTable. When we arrived I was told - quite sharply and curtly - that there was no reservation for me. However, not to worry she could seat me anyway. No eye contact. No friendly greeting. This all happened within seconds, so I had no time to continue my sentence. So far, not so good. We were a party of 4. The waiter rarely returned to refill water and tea glasses. My fiance and I both ordered the Wagyu Salisbury steak, medium-rare. What arrived was an expensive, overcooked hamburger patty. Our dining companions ordered the chicken parmesan and gnocchi. The ladies split a bottle of wine ($60), my fiance had 3 martinis ($12 each) and the other in our party had iced tea. We ordered crab cakes and calamari for appetizers. Our bill was $370! We have come to determine, after itemizing the bill again, that our bill was $267 before any taxes or gratuity and that they must have included an 18% tip - for a party of 4. I did not see a notice of this on the menu and the waiter certainly didn't mention it. Or course, it's our mistake for not checking the bill, but we certainly didn't expect it for a party of 4 on a random Friday night. It was OK. For $370 we won't return.

This is my first experience with Next Bistro... thought it would be a great time for my friend's birthday... food and drinks were outstanding... our waitress was a disaster! She seemed very distracted and continuously failed to bring our drinks and side dishes with our entrees... I had to flag her down at least three times during our dinner... the bartender was very attentive and had a great attitude... he and the delicious food were the only things that saved the evening! Even with our disappointment of our server... I would still suggest that everyone at least go and enjoy the bistro!

We were looking for a new dinner venue for the evening. Drove in from Las Colinas. The experience was just average. Won’t make an intentional trip back. We were greeted and seated promptly. Waitress was friendly and helpful. However, we never received our appetizer, even we spent time visiting with waitress at length about which one to select. When meal arrived both dishes were only warm. Made this known to our waitress when she checked in on us. But it was getting late and we don’t prefer to send food back to kitchen. So! Another small thing, we had requested our table candle be lit, she said she would send someone over to do it. It never happened. All in all, we were really hoping for a great experience. It was only average and we can get that much closer to our home.

We were first timers and really were looking forward to trying different things on the menu. We didn’t know it was preset for the night (Valentines) which we understand because of the volume but it just would have been nice to know what the menu was a head of time. Honestly, we would have picked a different night to come in and try. Food was ok but not enough to bring us back for a full menu night.

Felt rushed. Uncoordinated wait periods for next dishes. Some dishes were laid down basically on top of other dishes while others seemed like had very long wait periods. The portions for sides and dessert were very very very small. Won't go back and we love to support local businesses.
