The contemporary interior is clean, bright and airy during the day and cosy and intimate at night, with floor-to-ceiling glass windows framing the hustle and bustle of London life with outside seating when the weather is being kind. Angel Tube Station is a 3-minute walk.
Nice atmosphere, warm and friendly staff, food presentation very nice and entrees were good but not great. Dessert and coffee were delicious though!!
Was dining post theatre with my mum who has to eat gluten free so thought we’d give this a try and was blown away by the quality and taste of the food when often gluten free food is sub par- not here would fully recommend regardless of being gluten free or not the cheese doughnuts to start were out of this world and the pie and mash also delicious will be back next time at saddlers wells!
Excellent food and service and nice ambience, we like the revamp!
Mg wife and I were visiting London for the weekend and researched a gluten free options. Niche came up as totally gluten free and what a GEM. we had a reservation for 8pm but when we arrived early they couldn’t be more accommodating to take us early. The food was delicious, and my wife was very very happy with dinner! You all made our visit 150% more enjoyable. She’s happy, I’m happy.
Nice to see a coeliac certified restaurant with all the usual trimmings you have to avoid- cheese doughnuts, beef and ale pie, even onion rings! Will definitely be back.
Great food, friendly staff and good vibe. Will definitely be back. Thank you
Delicious food, highly recommend to my friends. Great service
The menu choices were excellent, the portion sizes generous. The restaurant is small so the tables for two are on top of each other. Still this allowed us to strike up a conversation with a nice American couple who are on holiday here in Britain at the table next door.
The cost for two people including two large glasses of wine was under £100 which, whilst not cheap, we both thought was good value for money.
The staff were attentive and helpful. My favourite dish was the cheese donuts which came to the table piping hot with a nice salsa and although I was told all dishes are gluten free I wouldn't have known this otherwise.
Very nice food and excellent service.
Best meal we've had in years. Amazing choice of gluten free. The cheese doughnuts were out of this world, and the chicken supreme was delicious. Dessert was amazing. We ate ourselves sick!! Wish we had one in Bournemouth! Fantastic!
This is our second visit. Unfortunately on our second visit we didn’t think our main course represented good value. Portions were very small and the chicken salad was mostly salad leaves! The starter course represented better value. We thought the restaurant had a nice vibe and a great location for pre theatre supper.
Our post-matinee meal was great all round. The whole party was very happy with their chosen dishes which were well cooked and seasoned. The restaurant had a nice buzz about it with conversation at a good level.
You wouldn't notice that this was a gluten free restaurant, everyone was happy with their choices. There was a brunch menu which we weren't offered but it actually didn't matter because we were there for an early lunch.
Always amazing! Had to order a second honeycomb brownie, it was too good.
Totally awesome restaurant. As a coeliac it was quite staggering to realise that everything on the food and drink menu was OK to eat!
Wonderful food, staff and service and great value.
A lovely lunch!
Just one tiny problem. They brought our main before we had finished our starters but were really sorry and charming.
As ever, they are always accommodating over dietary issues. I have an unusual allergy and they were ready and waiting for me so to speak. It is great to know you can eat somewhere safely. The lady who was head of the front of house staff was very proactive, responsive and polite.
Really good food, the tuna salad Nicoise was fabulous - all with excellent service.
Wonderful to come to a place that has excellent food and completely gluten-free. Highly recommended.
I love coming to Niche. They are welcoming. The front of house staff are attentive and helpful. I can't praise the chef high enough. I am on a restricted diet for health reasons and he is so accommodating. My friends and I go three times a year when visiting Sadler's Wells, I contact Niche in advance and each time the item on the menu I would like has been adapted so that I can eat it without becoming ill. Thank you, Niche.
It was amazing to go to a restaurant and not have to worry about CC. The staff were very accommodating and went over and above to make sure my 6 yo son who has coeliac disease and fructose intolerance was well catered for and safe with his food choice. Lovely ambience and food. I plan on going again soon and I would recommend.
It had a fantastic atmosphere and the staff are extremely friendly. Plus they were able to cater to my needs for low fodmap. I would really recommend for anyone who may have the same requirements.
Food (sausages and halloumi salad) very nice and presented well just quite pricey . Service and ambience very good, lovely staff. Perfect for Sadler’s Wells. A fixed price pre theatre menu would be a great addition rather than one that is just time-specific.
Excellent food. Portion size won’t disappoint. Service was friendly and personable. Overall I would recommend and will be going again
The food was good and we had a nice dining experience. The friend chicken was nice. It is always good to have choice at a restaurant as a coeliac. The staff were lovely. Not the most amazing food but definitely good. I ate there with my husband and child who were happy too.
What a great place! The service was fantastic and the was food great. A really good experience
I've had a lunch offer, which was Fish & Chips + a soft or hot drink.
The food was very good, although not outstanding. The fish had the perfect texture, however, the batter was not as crisp as I'd expected and the chips were cut into fries and could've been a bit more crisp as well (or a broader cut). I also expected more flavor from the fish & batter and the eggs in the aioli were very dominant and unfortunately the herbs did not add any taste. I have made my remarks when the waitress took my dishes and she was very open and polite towards my feedback.
Portion size was generous and filling, the plate was visually appealing and the dish was freshly prepared. Overall, ingredients are of very high quality and I've enjoyed my lunch very much.
Compliments to kitchen and service staff, who ware always friendly and polite, absolutely knowledgeable in regard to allergies and give perfect recommendations when trying to make a choice out of the many delicious dishes they offer.
Nice food and a relaxed atmosphere. Would visit again
Good food, good service and interesting setting!!.
Once again, just the loveliest meal. I must say that it was primarily down to the company I had but the restaurant, food, vibe and staff accompanied it perfectly so thank you! Delicious gnocchi.
Great gluten free restaurant with great options. Nicely decorated, every single thing is gluten free, great for celiacs
We came for my birthday and had a wonderful time. Welcomed with a glass of processco and fabulous service. The food was divine! Could not fault it. Thank you so much 😍
"I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The onion ring butter were unbelievably good. Service was well-timed and friendly and the manager was super friendly and cool! Definitely a must to go place!
Outstanding. All the food was lovely, but the fried chicken was particularly good. Definitely going again.
We came here for my graduation celebration dinner. It is so nice to have so many options for food! My mum and I are both allergic to gluten and dairy and thoroughly enjoyed having a choice especially in reagrd to desserts. The restuarant is a little small and it would be lovely to have another restuarant more centrally but all the same it was quaint and not too noisy. We will definetly be back.
Lovely staff. Good food. They really know their gluten free menu. Highly enjoyable.
The decor has been worked on, the prices have gone way up and the food well, is still just ok. The G free thing can be a pain when you eat out and I'm impressed that their food is all G free. But it needs a bit of imagination - there are quite a few standard G free recipes that are fail safe and they seem to have missed these - the issue is always pastry and bread and deep frying... so use tempura batter, make Irish soda bread (dead easy with the right ingredients and great to eat); dosa batter for pancakes, rice wraps for un-fried spring rolls, simple sushi in cones... shortcrust pastry is doable ( I have the secret); crunchy thin pizza bases with lots of polenta in the dough... and grilled polenta fingers.. the are loads more. Most of these things are not G free versions of wheat based foods - they are just G free anyway.
I think we prob won't be coming back though as I will put up with average G free stuff if I have to - but not at these prices. Sorry to say this - it is a nice place, great location and lovely people. Not enough though.
Lovely food, all gluten free. Not just good because it was gluten free but really nice food! Lovely atmosphere too, staff were very friendly and helpful. Seasonal menu so really looking forward to going back and trying it again!
It is a cosy little place for a quick meal and menu has a good selection of vegeterian food.
The food wasn’t just good gluten free food, the food was good food...period! We were three, two normals and a celiac and we all left thrilled. Thank you!
