The contemporary interior is clean, bright and airy during the day and cosy and intimate at night, with floor-to-ceiling glass windows framing the hustle and bustle of London life with outside seating when the weather is being kind. Angel Tube Station is a 3-minute walk.
The service is very good and the staff cannot do enough for you. Very tentative and quick to respond when called. The food was nice, nothing great.
The chicken supreme for me had too much garlic and was swimming in cream sauce. A pot on the side would have been better for me.
The NFC is plain fried chicken, a spice would of been to my liking, it was plain.
The crumble was nice, expensive for the size of the portion.
The cheese doughnuts are ok, lukewarm in the middle
If you do go, have the Pate as a starter, now that was an amazing pate although you only got 2 slices of very good sourdough bread.... definitely more slices needed to the amount of pate you are given.
There are other gluten-free restaurants that are on par with Niche, the restaurant was nothing special and the food did not blow me away as other reviews have suggested.
Would I go again... yes, but would not rush back as other gluten-free restaurants are just as good.
Avoid the table at the back as it is very near the toilets.
This restaurant is lovely whether you have to eat gluten free or not. My son is a Coeliac and loves Niche because it is one of the few places he can choose anything from the menu with complete confidence. There were six in our party and everyone enjoyed their meal. The service and atmosphere are excellent too.
Such good service, really lovely staff and lovely food.
Always excellent food and service
Veggie daughter had lots of choices
Very attentive service from all staff
We were late and it wasn’t a problem to get lovely food before the ballet, Will return
Nice food, friendly efficient service. Perfect pre dinner before heading 5o Sadlers Wells.
Brilliant gluten free food! With a wide variety! Highly recommended!
Truly excellent food, safely gluten free (am coeliac) but for non coeliacs they would not notice. Tried the vegan options this time and I was bowled over by how good it was. I’m not local so don’t visit often but try to get here once or twice a year. If I lived in London it would be by go-to restaurant. Can’t praise it enough.
The waiters and waitresses were lovely and welcoming. The food came quickly and it was delicious.
Good food in a totally gluten free environment. Ridiculously expensive drinks and the food was a little overpriced for what you got but as a one off it was really nice. Recommend if only for the total piece of mind it offers to the gluten intolerant. Pleasant waiting staff with friendly efficient service.
Thanks for your kindness but the food was not at the price level (ribs with a lot of grease and potatoes without salt). Also, the Cote du Rhone red wine was not tasty (very acid).
The food was excellent. So great to have a full menu of Gf food to choose from. Portions were a little small. A bit pricey.
This was our first time at Niche. Looking at the reviews and being gluten free, I was very excited about our dinner. The service was very good and the waitresses very nice. The food is ok but nothing special and very pricey for what you get. Maybe I was not lucky with the sausages and mash and the sides.
Great gluten free only restaurant that will make anyone with celiac feel safe. All the food was delicious! Would highly recommend.
Food was cold, served on a cold plate. Desert was too sweet.
Fantastic! You have to try this place even if you are not gluten free but especially if you are gluten free!
Absolutely fantastic experience. My first time in a fully gluten free restaurant, which as a coeliac is absolute heaven! My non coeliac partner enjoyed it just as much as I did.
The beef short rib was sublime and the puddings were just spectacular!
Delicious menu of nicely presented gluten free food - lots of choices. Great service from a genuinely friendly and helpful staff team. Relaxed, cosy atmosphere.
The food tasted good considering it was all gluten-free but it was very overpriced for what it is.
The most disappointing part of the meal was that it states on their website and their physical menus that their full "menu is available at lunchtime (12-2.30pm)" (taken directly from their website). We had a table booked at 13:30 specifically for this reason as we wanted to be able to try the full menu and we were told the full menu was not available, which was disappointing as we had travelled all the way into London from Hampshire for this restaurant specifically as family members that we were with were GF.
The staff did manage to provide my family member with the option that they wanted from the full menu, but it came across like it was our fault for not knowing that they weren't offering their full menu. Why advertise that you offer the full menu until 14:30 if you cannot provide customers with these options when they sit down to eat at 13:30?
The only other thing I would suggest is that the meals should be served on hot/warm plates as the food cooled down very quickly on stone cold plates.
Room for improvement but I hope this encourages more fully gluten-free/Coeliac UK accredited restaurants in the future.
Lovely food, really nice to be able to eat here knowing it's all gluten free so I won't get ill and the added bonus of having dairy free options! Staff were very friendly and food came out very quickly. We'll be visiting again! Thanks
Really nice restaurant, great food, perfect for a birthday meal for my GF husband. He loved that he could eat anything on the menu!
Amazing food. Good ambiance. Really good service. Would definitely recommend.
I have visited niche previously, and this time with a friend! Absolutely love the food but it is slightly overpriced
We had a wonderful evening celebrating my Mums birthday. The food was excellent and the service incredible. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel so welcome!! Thank you
A London restaurant with great food and drink - and completely gluten free... Incredible! Just go there!
Amazing service, food was delicious and the staff went out of their way to make the day extra special for my sister as it was her birthday. Can’t wait to go back.
Amazing . The food was brilliant and the staff were very helpful and really went out of their way.
Excellent food and a great atmosphere. We was greeted and served throughout with such politeness and really caring staff members. I took my wife here for her birthday and she was blown away. A truly wonderful experience and will definitely be back again 👍👍
Fantastic dining experience. Excellent food. A paradise for my boys who could try everything.
Food was good with an excellent choice. My wife who is not Gluten intollerent commented that should would not have known. Good choice of wine and other drinks. Pleasant prompt service.
I would recommend to anyone who eats gluten free food. I find it lovely and very comfortable to be in a restaurant where I do not worry about eating gluten. My meat was excellent.
Kids absolutely love the kids menu and the addition of the Holoumi burger. Mum always enjoys the wine!
We enjoyed dinner for my birthday at Niche! Never been there before so wasn’t entirely sure what it would be like but am I super glad we tried it. Lovely all around from the decor to service to food. Highly recommended!
Very enjoyable meal, the buttermilk chicken was delicious,so nice to be able enjoy a family evening together and not to have to worry about cross contamination of food
Niche Gluten Free Dining was nice but expensive. The prices prohibited you from choosing more exciting menu options. Niche in food but niche in price. I know it's London but felt it was prohibitive to the whole experience e.g only had a main course and desert is one of the things that you usually can't have as a coeliac. It's not that difficult to cook gluten free so not sure why it seems to be a premium. Understand restaurants can charge what they want/need to make the business viable, but this experience is more of an occasion rather than a regular haunt.
My dinner was delicious, however service was a bit inattentive. Overall very nice place, just wouldn't necessarily go alone again.
The food was really good and the restaurant is really lovely.
We had the burger with great fries and the mash potatoes and sausages.
The mains were fantastic but the deserts were even better!!
Overall we had a great time and I wouldn't be able to tell its gluten free.
Amazing assistence and very friendly staff
Definite coming back!
Great food for gluten free diners. Concept is fantastic, it’s the food that gluten free eaters can’t have in most other mainstream restaurants
Absolutely wonderful place. One definitely needs to book in advance, even just for lunch. There was only one person serving all the tables during lunch time, but she was amazing!! So lovely, remembering about us, making sure that we are comfortable at just the right times.
Food was divine. It’s is rare that I can relax completely about what I eat due to lactose and gluten intolerance, but in here- absolutely heavily food, and no worries at all that I would have any reaction :)
Very happy with this place, highly recommend
