Nic's On Beverly
Nic’s is founded by a collective of creatives, who run L.A.’s hottest dining destinations and iconic culinary and music festivals, who set out to give Angelenos and visitors alike a great restaurant--that just happens to be plant-based.
Nic’s is an oasis from the hustle and bustle of Beverly Blvd. that provides an easy environment to work remotely. Serving up lunch items such as wood fired Detroit style pizza, a farro and quinoa bowl, and the Chinois on Beverly salad, a play on a Chinese chicken salad. In the evening, the restaurant is a perfect hideaway to converse over drinks at the bar, which features a must-try cocktail list by Jason Eisner & an exciting wine list curated by Rajat Paar.

Beautiful, gorgeous patio and delicious and creative vegan food. Great service and very nice environment. Loved it.
This place is pretentious and overpriced. The music is terrible and the food is just ok. The service is adequate and this place will be lucky to survive another year.
This was our second time visiting Nic's On Beverly. The food is great and the atmosphere is energetic and amazing. Both times our meals took between 2-3 hours from ordering to paying the bill. It's a nice place to go for a special occasion, but not for a quick meal.
Everything was great! Food was amazing as well as the drinks. Only thing that ruined the full five stars was when our server put in the wrong order for us and comes back to double check her mistake/ the misunderstanding from the side of gratin fries that we wanted instead of the potato dumplings that came out. It would’ve been fine but she rolls her eyes and just seemed so annoyed when it was not entirely our fault. Other than that, very great.
Our waiter Wes was excellent.
Most the food was good.
Pizza was too thick.
Dumplings very salty
Tangible and rice good. Would have liked more vegetables. Rice was perfect.
Pasta was good but not hot. Was room temperature
Peach tomato salad good with cashew cheese.
Our waitress Lynne was the absolute best! I’ve never experienced better service in la! Will definitely be coming back because of her!
We loved the patio seating, and a couple of the dishes were tasty, but we were all disappointed with a few of them (especially the takeout I took home), and I paid a lot of money for those items! The crispy mushrooms and gyozas were our least favorite and too pricey, but we enjoyed the gnocchi, crispy rice, and peirogies.
The food is absolutely delicious! The pizza, perogies, the burger- just YUM!
Great food and atmosphere! I definitely recommend if you’re looking for a high quality plant based meal.
We loved every minute of sitting in the garden at Nic’s. Food was incredible. Every dish was better than the next. Great way to celebrate my birthday!
I am vegan. Been to every vegan place in LA. This, dare I say, is THEE BEST vegan food here! Little pricey but pretty much worth it. Gnocchetti, pizza, fries, French onion soup, salads, avocado tacos, YES, YES, YES!! Order it all!
Wonderful place! Awesome service form Caleb! The food is Amazing!!!! The cocktails are soo delicious and fun. I highly Recommend this place
Just loved everything about Nic's!!! The food was beyond delicious (if you're not Vegan - you'll love the food)
The drinks, ambiance and the music were a 10! Only thing missing is a dance floor to dance...
We LOVED it!
Yes, we will be back
Food was great, service was very good
The vegan cheese was almost inedible
Probably the best vegan restaurant I’ve ever been to
Nic's exceeded my expectations! The back garden patio is magical and feels like we were on vacation somewhere else. The food was excellent all the omnivores at the table were very impressed by the all plant based cuisine. There is something for everyone. Will definitely be returning to Nic's.
amazing food, incredible service- highly recommend!!
Everything was absolutely perfect. I can’t wait to come back again when visiting LA.
Always the best. Food is so good and service is. Loved it all
Food was amazing. Fresh yet filling and flavorful. The service was great. Ambiance is exactly what you want for a nice dinner out.
Terrible food quality and taste and extremely overpriced.
Great food, great service, beautiful setting. Highly recommend for casual lunch or even date night.
Work success - booked a great gig
Expensive but yummy
My date and I were first enchanted by walking in through the back and seeing the beautiful lights and garden setting. It was perfect for a date. I checked in with the hostess and asked if we could sit outside. She said there was no room but I could clearly see tables that were not occupied. We were asked by the hostess, the waitress, and a waiter if we had been there before. To each of them we said no and expected someone to lead us through the menu. When no one did we finally asked. It was a bit awkward. We ordered drinks to start but they took awhile to come out even though the restaurant did not seem busy. Many empty tables inside. Not sure I would go again. I marked on my reservation that we were there for a date and was surprised that nothing was done or said to try and use that information to make the evening a little more special.
This iteration of this restaurant is the best yet. The food was very good to excellent. We can recommend everything we had from the peach/tomato burrata salad, fried rice with avocado, the falafel burger and the pizza were excellent. The server, Deanna(?), knew the items on the menu and had eaten just about every item. We really liked that she had an opinion and expressed her likes and not-so-good choices. We really respect that and want that information from a server.
Only thing that bothered us, was that about half way into our meal, a couple was seated next to us with a dog. We like dogs, leave ours at home when we go out, not fair to the dog and to the other diners. But, I don't necessarily want to spend over $100 for dinner with my spouse and eat with a dog. Seater should of asked us first if we had objections. To make matters worse, the manager came over to talk with us regarding this issue when we were seating next to the issue. Yuck. We will go back and tell the seater we prefer not to eat with pets.
Delicious food, gorgeous space... fun time!
I want to give 5 stars because the food is AMAZING, I’ve been back many times. Music selection is dope! Brought my girlfriends who are vegan bloggers and traveled the WORLD eating veggies and were blown away. Every visit the servers are rushed and a bit flustered. The host stand is in an awkward spot where you have to push past confused patrons standing in the doorway. The text I received about responding within a limited amount of time or my reservation being cancelled during the middle of the work day was incredibly rude, and when I responded I got an equally confusing and oddly defensive response.
Side note.... you can only see in the bathroom mirrors if you’re over 5’5, it’s LA we need to see if we have kale in our teeth and a full view of our vegan leather platforms would be nice too!
Prepare to share
Great portion sizes but it definitely is sharing style restaurant. The ambience is wonderful it’s definitely a great experience.
The best thing to do is ask for recommendations and let them know what you’re allergic to they do their best to be as accommodating as possible and I appreciate it
My new favourite place, the pierogies are outstanding!
My husband had the falafel burger which he loved and the fries were really good. I had the french onion soup and I wouldn't order it again. The chocolate lava cake for dessert was delicious.
I do wish they had more veggies and more gluten free options as well as high protein entrees for my non vegan friends who always seem to be craving protein! Also, what does it take to get the patio seating?
My favorites are the Malbec and the Moroccan dish...also mushroom appetizers.
Service is always outstanding!
Falafel burger was phenomenal
If all plant-based meals were this good, I could convert. Except for bacon. :-) Seriously, this place is just excellent, and has the prettiest patio in town. The vegan dishes were, to a one, excellent, but the gnochetti with eggplant bolognese was a standout, as were the tempura avocado tacos. A couple of service snafus were corrected pretty quickly, and overall, the staff was quite engaging. We'll be back.
Couldn’t have been tastier. Can hardly believe it’s vegan.
Didn't even know it was a vegan restaurant and if the server hadn't told us, still wouldn't.
Place is beautiful, especially the back courtyard during day and night in it's lighting and ambiance.
Food presentation, taste was excellent and the service was phenomenal with personality.
Definitely check this place out.
Very good on every level. Maybe a little less fried foods, but all delicious
We met a friend for Dinner... we’ve dined at this location through every resurrection and this certainly ranks as one of the best. The food was outrageous, inventive, beautiful and delicious.
It will be a place we dine st a lot.
