The food was great but the service was pretty awful. We had to ask for everything at least twice if not more. It wasn’t clear who was our waitress.
Friendly welcome. Good food and meal choices. Wine list and prices good. Overall a good experience and worth a visit
Superb and friendly staff who remembered me despite this only being my third visit in two months. Phenomenal food and a brilliant hideaway for a business lunch or special dinner with friends or clients.
Great food and good selection of wine but a little overpriced for what you get, particular on mains. It was also incredibly dark and hot. That said, the waiters were great and we still had a nice meal.
Excellent food, service and ambience. Def recommend.
Front of house was akin to the Falty Towers Experience. We had to ask again and again for things and even when catching an eye they'd run the other way. Our booking was 8:30, mains came out about 1015. We didn't have time for desert sadly. Food was OK but not value for money, overall a poor experience. We'd been 4 years ago and loved it, won't be back again. I can't imagine Jason would be happy how things have slipped.
Absolutely great food. The starters were superb We both really enjoyed our meals
Brilliant value for money. Each part of each course very tasty
Amazing experience but we found some lead in the pheasant and there wasn’t any compensation for it which seemed slightly odd.
Excellent a great meal and food venue for a business meeting
35 minutes to be asked for “ a drink” and then 23 minutes further to receive it .
What a massively over hyped and underachieved example of the London restaurant scene.
Terrible service ( admittedly 1/2 capable and competent staff) but on the whole, terrible for £125 per head !! A joke.
One staff member behind the bar? What do you expect.
Food and drink once served were fine, nothing to shout about, the days of charging what you feel like and expecting repeat custom are over and the quicker “serial restauranteurs realise this the better, lest the follow the path of others into the abyss.
Starters were delicious. Lobster and scallops- highly recommended. Main courses were nice but tasted very salty. Wine prices very expensive £50 for 500ml. Service poor. Had to ask for water 3 times, no coffee was brought and had to ask for the bill twice. Overall disappointing
Great restaurant with an inventive menu- great food and service.
Great menu, friendly and attentive staff and wonderful ambience
I booked in for a late lunch with a friend and we both chose the set menu. It was of wonderful quality, artisitic and really delicious, using the freshest ingredients, and very good value. Sometimes set menus make one feel there was a compromise, but we felt we had top menu choices. The staff were attentive, and informed and didn't hurry us on. It was a wonderful experience and I will be recommending the restaurant to everyone! Thankyou!
Super! Cozy place with nice food and fresh ingredients.
Excellent service and a great experience
I dined on a quiet Saturday lunchtime. I chose the prix fixe menu which met my tastes well. Staff were friendly, informed and informative without that over-the-top obsequiousness that I find so false. Food was excellent and good value in my opinion. Interior decor wasn't to my personal taste, but then I rejoice in the fact that the world isn't full of people like me. Oh, great cocktails too.
Friendly staff, great food - a really lovely restaurant to go to - highly recommend
Great place, loved the relaxed but buzzy atmosphere and the food was excellent. Service top class too.
The fixed price menu was fantastic value, the a la carte choices more expensive but overall worth it. A good and fairly priced wine list too. In one visit it has become a favourite already and can't wait to go back.
Very gooood. Will return to this restaurant when I'm back to London
We were in a rush because of transport delays...service a bit slow to start but when we explained picked up really well.
It’s not cheap but the food was delicious...the wine was pretty good, too!
Superb food, great staff, comfortable and relaxing. one of London's gems
Very good set lunch and service.
We were sitting under two loudspeakers mounted in the ceiling. Noise level of music too high.
Loudspeakers appear to serve the entire restaurant.
The bill included a 1 pound voucher for charity although it needed agreement for the donation it showed up automatically on the invoice whch we paid. Not good!
My daughter & enjoyed our visit to the restaurant very much. The food, service & ambiance were excellent. I can highly recommend.
Exceptional food. In a beautiful space. This is a relatively small restaurant - not too quiet, not too noisy. Elegant but not stuffy. One of the best in London.
Service was slow last night - which is unusual. My friend’s Halibut has to be sent back twice as it was very over cooked. Rest of the food was OK but not remarkable. Crab starter seemed to lack crab! Not a great experience.
Lovely food and staff were excellent.
Really delicious food (had a la Carte started and main). Beautifully presented plates. Superbly attentive and very thoughtful service (accommodating the two guests with allergies). Relaxed and convivial atmosphere. Great quiet side street location too.
Great to celebrate a mates birthday and they put a candle in her pudding which was appreciated!
Great atmosphere in this busy but small restaurant which offers high quality food with unusual menu choices. The staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble for them.
Lovely and small and nicely decorated. Quite cosy with good food and nice ambience.
Cocktail menu is small but they will make you something that isn’t on the menu if you ask them to.
There was some broken glass on our table and on my seat from a previous diner but they were very apologetic for it.
Overall it was a lovely evening and would go back.
Fantastic food and great service. A really lovely evening was had by all!
Our first visit to No 5 Social. We had the set lunch menu which was amazing value.
Excellent food, nicely presented. Very friendly and efficient staff.
Would certainly go back in the evening and have the à la carte.
We surpriused how much I enjoyed evening.
Didn’t get there until after 9pm.
Food, service and atmosphere really excellent. I like the classy effect. really good modern but very accessible food and excellent professional but nicely informal service and experience.
The fish we ate was really tasty, we particularly enjoyed the little unexpected treats. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was most relaxing. We would definitely recommend it to our friends!
Jason Atherton is a god to me. So I criticise with trepidation. But I did not enjoy this dinner. The fact that we had to sit at a very loud music bar for 15 minutes to get our table probably didn’t help. But we found the food was too contrived. Too much decoration; not enough substance. But I am old fashioned. So please aim off.
Food was excellent although service was slow and not particularly polished. Atmosphere was relaxed though. Would definitely recommend.
Loved this for a special occasion, a beautiful intimate setting.
Saturday afternoon lunch away from the crowds. Great, chilled atmosphere with immaculate service and high quality food.
The refresh to Little Social was a big success - top marks
