11 Brasserie @ No 11 is located within the discreet luxury of a historically significant, Edinburgh Georgian Town House, this award winning restaurant, displays a menu that exhibits some of Scotland's finest produce, infused with flavors that reflect Scotland's stunning natural landscape. The Head Chef, Stevie, has received a AA Rosette for Culinary Excellence -Food that literally looks as good as it tastes! There can be no better local dining experience.

The Brasserie is located on the ground floor and seats around 30 diners.
It serves Breakfast (8:00 to 10:00) every day, Dinner (17:00 - 20:30 Last Orders) Wed - Sun, and Lunch (12 noon - 15:30) Saturday and Sunday.


Our menus focus on home made dishes, using tasty, fresh produce from artisan suppliers. We're happy to accomodate any dietary requirements and preferences. Please note we do not have a children's menu.

    From the moment we walked in we realised what a great choice we had made. The atmosphere was cozy and intimate, staff so friendly and the food out of this world. Honestly couldn’t fault this place in any way and will definitely be back the next time we are in Edinburgh.

    The service was very disappointing. The person who served the table, brought out the bottle of wine we ordered, did the tasting and then neglected to pour wine for anyone. Wine service had to be done by ourselves the whole evening. We waited for quite a while before a food order was taken. Dirty plates weren’t being removed after our meal were done, and we had to ask for the table to bel cleared. The service in general was slow & non attentive, which is really unjustified for a restaurant that’s so small and not busy.

    I can see what the Chef is trying to achieve. His flavours and textures and presentation were refined but unfortunately and this is only my opinion, there wasn't enough choice and we struggled to find something that appealed. Four American diners had the same problem.

    Our stay was wonderful the food was excellent only our room no10 was smaller than we expected and a bit warm, as there was little ventilation. Staff were excellent very welcoming friendly and helpful

    The food at No11 was really lovely and was just as we had hoped given the reputation of the hotel. What made the visit special was the quality of the service. So personal, our waiter was just great, knowledgable and set just the right atmosphere for our meal. Thank you.

    Sitting just off the theather district this is a really nice venue. Quite laid back and quiet, we were there mid week. The food was excellent, my wife and I both had the Saute Mushroom & Tarragon Cream with truffle foam as a starter, which was light and very tasty. My wife has Roast Rack Of Perthshire Lamb shepards pie, minted peas. This was actually the 3 slices of perfectly cooked lamb (very melt in in the mouth) with a portion of shepards pie (actually chopped lamb (not minced/ground) topped with mash), all round excellent I had the Confit Pork Belly hand dived scallops & Stornoway black pudding. The pork was beautiful and it is hard to go wrong with scallops in Scotland. For desert we shared, Raspberry & Hibiscus Baked Alaska with toasted hazelnuts and Chocolate Panna Cotta honeycomb, vanilla cream & ginger tuilea The Baked Alaska was adenturiously presented The Chocolate Panna Cotta was a very intense chocolate without too much sweetness. The best thing I can say is we will definately be back

    Dined here for our anniversary. The environment was nice and relaxed and staff always on hand to help. Very fine dining, the prices were high however the standard of high quality produce made it well worth the price. The food was five stars everything cooked to perfection and the presentation was an art form.
