No.15 Great Pulteney – The Dispensary
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed dining at The Dispensary. The staff were very friendly and efficient, the menu was tempting and we particularly liked the fact that we could share any of the plates we chose. The food was delicious and well presented. There were some interesting wines on the list. All in all an experience to be repeated.
Absolutely a great place to eat
Fantastic food, lovely environment, professional and friendly service. Excellent place to dine on a trip to Bath. Thoroughly recommend.
Lovely place for a treat. Chilled environment, accommodating staff , love food. Would recommend.
The service was too slow we had a table booked for 8 and didn’t get our main course until 9:45pm which tasted great but too late.
Interesting and attractive restaurant with an innovative menu.
Lovely dining area, attentive service and food was enjoyable.
Good food and wine choice. However, the service was slow. It took a while from being seated to anybody coming to even take our drink order. A little slow between courses too. Staff were friendly though.
Great food and great service, food was on the table in a timely manner and the staff were very accomodating. Great little gem and will be back on our next trip to Bath. Prices are very very reasonable.
Really enjoyed our evening - a broad menu with lots of good options, and the food was delicious whilst remaining very good value. Lovely service and we loved the ambience too.
Very enjoyable Saturday night supper with my wife at No15. Ground floor cocktail bar is intimate, with eclectic collections on the walls, all in all a real quality feel. This continued when we went downstairs for supper, a lovely room with fabulous collections of ‘Dispensary’ old bottles on the shelves.
Food and wine was simply excellent (a sea bass and a sirloin steak), Service was mostly good other than they forgot our desserts !
All in all a genuine ‘special’ night out, already looking forward to going again
The Dispensary was inviting but surprisingly there was no Proper Restaurant just a bar for more relaxed eating. The decor was nevertheless eclectic and amazing. The service was polite yet very relaxed. The menu choice was very limited though my wife and I enjoyed our selected choice. Recommendation would be caveated.
Great place for brunch in a lovely hotel. Service was very good a polite. Bottomless brunch and food was great. Would recommend.
This wasn't our first choice of restaurant but we were very pleasantly surprised. Would have preferred some more choice of starters other than fish however everything we had was well cooked, tasty and well presented.
Staff were very pleasant.
Next time we may well try the hotel as well.
For a special occasion it was perfect, I liked the slightly quirky decor and artwork but may not be to everyone’s taste! Do your research first and you won’t be disappointed. The food was excellent and I loved the tree display!
A great place for a different type of meal. Able to mix the courses and a good variety cooked very well. A most enjoyable dining experience. Great Wine list and very informed staff
Very pleasant evening. Service excellent. Interesting choice of dishes, delicious too.
Food was truly awful.
Loved cafe 15, really tasty food, beautiful decor, friendly helpful staff, will definitely be back!
Went with a couple of friends - had a great meal...good choice on the menu which we had as a sharing plate. Great wine too. Location is fabulous which some rich military memorabilia on display too which was nice to look at. Really friendly service.
Simply Stunning experience for a 3 generation family brunch. Lovely light and airy room with genuine Georgian features. Welcoming, unpretentious yet creative decor. Comfortable seating with plenty of space around tables. Interesting menu of simply cooked dishes showcasing high quality ingredients. Delicious, locally produced food, beautifully presented. Generous servings. Unobtrusive service. Great value. Not great for mobility impaired or pregnant vegetarians - but can't have everything. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will return.
The hotel is fabulous but the food could’ve been better. The breakfasts were nice as we’d stayed there but our dinner was ok and doesn’t complement the overall stay at the hotel. Food, we were told, were small dishes so we’d need to order a few dishes but we ordered too much as some dishes were bigger than others. So it’s hardly a taster menu or a tapas so we were a bit confused and disappointed to be honest! I’d stick to a proper a la carte menu if I was them. Food was nice enough but I’d only recommend it for the setting and ambience to be fair.
Great food and a lovely setting. Our server was brilliant and thoughrally attentive.
We had a lovely time and would definitely go back again
Nice staff, interesting decor, nice bar. Food you can choose as mains or tapas. Relatively quiet.
A nice way to share dishes, plates are small but not too small so you can order as much as you like. Quality very good. Quirky ornaments in this boutique hotel.
Had an excellent meal here on a recent visit to Bath. Excellent food. Thoroughly recommended.
Booked well over 2 weeks in advance. Even had an email the day before checking I was still going to be making my booking, which I confirmed. Upon arrival the staff had no knowledge of my booking and looked at me oddly when I said I was there for lunch. They said they only had bookings for afternoon tea and would have to check with the chef to see if they’d be able to fit us in for lunch. The reason for our visit was that it was my Mum’s birthday, very unimpressed with the whole situation and decided to leave and find somewhere who was happy to take us for lunch. Would not recommend.
We had a very pleasant evening meal. We really enjoyed our service/ meal with a grazing table of starters.....notably the roast cauliflower risotto along with the beetroot and goats cheese salad. Mains were just the right portion with the crab souffle pancake being light yet warming. Great fizz and wines to match. Thoroughly enjoyable and a great start to our weekend as 5 minutes walk from our local Airbnb.
Very poor service; had to wait hours to get food. Other diners left after waiting an hour for their food.
Service was hopeless.
The staff weren’t attentive; we struggled to get their attention all night (as did others in the restaurant).
Atmosphere is ok. Decor is pretty cool.
The food was ok.
I won’t be rushing back.
I should add that the cocktail bar upstairs is brilliant though. Great bar staff and a great cocktail list in a funky room.
The hotel itself is lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good but the evening menu was nice but not great. However maybe I chose poorly as we only had one evening meal there.
First visit to No15. It made a very good impression on us. The staff are young and lively, the atmosphere fun and friendly. Bar service was good and not too slow and the restaurant has a very cool vibe.
Slightly noisy with a large pre-wedding group dining - not really suitable for large parties of guests, as the bar and restaurant are quite small and therefore, other diners will have to suffer the rising sound levels.
Food and wine were excellent and the service in the restaurant was also very good. Reasonably priced city centre eating.
Good service. Food, nothing to remember. Drinks wew fine, very quiet place. Out of the cebter of Bath.
A beautifully and imaginatively decorated space with a good ambiance. The menu is original and interesting and we enjoyed what we ate.
The wine list was different offering plenty of choice. Only one waiter but he looked after us very well indeed, replenishing out glasses with consummate professionalism.
Really enjoyed our time, the service in particular was outstanding.
The food was fantastic and what’s not to like about unlimited wine!
Will definitely be back.
We really loved the hotel attached to cafe 15 and the cafe itself was as beautiful, staff friendly and helpful but I have to say the food was very average at best and they were out of the first two things we asked for from the menu. We had dinner the next night at The Circus restaurant which was cheaper and infinitely better. I love the feel of the place and we had a great time anyway but could be improved so much food wise
Beautiful decor. Food was delicious. Need to come back to have dinner next time.
Had a lovely anniversary meal here. Beautiful dining room, kind and attentive staff, delicious food and wine. Nice to have a great spot to come to on the famous Great Pulteney Street
Superb venue and wonderful food - thank you all
