Great food and service - would definitely recommend
Fabulous fabulous fabulous will definitely return to this great venue
Delicious food, good value, great atmosphere and friendly service.
Service was terrible. It took 1 hr 20mins from arrival to receiving our starters. Very slow. Food was ok, but really let down by the service
Excellent service beautiful surroundings and the food I couldn’t fault we went for the Sunday brunch and it was lovely would recommend
Hidden Gem - will definitely be going back to The Dispensary
15 Great Pulteney St is a very good hotel - very friendly service and good location
The Dispensary suffers a bit from being ‘sub-terrainial’ and I found it a little oppressive. Upstairs in the bar is a nicer option in my view
Drinks and service in the bar were good. Staff very attentive.
I had said that the meal was to celebrate our wedding anniversary but there was no acknowledgement of the event.
Starters were good but even at 1930 one item was off what is after all a limited menu.
Main courses were average at best. My sirloin steak was very chewy, some of the vegetables were off the menu and I basically had steak fries and peas for not far short of £30. I could have had better in a chain restaurant. My wife’s fish cake was nothing special. The fries and peas were straight out the freezer.
The service was slow and I ended up pouring my own wine.
Have been before but not sure I will return. Definitely overpriced for what we had and for the service we received.
A very pleasant dining experience. Interesting surroundings, attentive staff, and unintrusive background music. Superbly presented food, cooked to perfection.
The food was far from impressive & very few other diners which meant very little atmosphere. The bar upstairs is lovely but again...fairly quiet
The food at brunch was fabulous- from an assortment of breads and meats to start to the shakshuka and affogato I ordered I was really happy. I was less happy with my bloody mary (no celery garnish and it was lukewarm- I’d have preferred it chilled but thats just my personal preference- also nobody comes to check on you drinkswise so not sure how people benefit from the “bottomless aspect” if they took part in that element) and there was no atmosphere. There was no background music so when we arrived as the first group it was very quiet and felt a little awkward. The gentleman who seated us and served us was friendly and polite but I was disappointed that a table booked for 11.30 still left us waiting for 5 or more minutes til they were actually ready for us (Again maybe that’s just me as I was hungry but as a five star hotel I’d have thought it wouldn’t be an issue). I wouldn’t necessarily rush back for brunch but I would still recommend to friends to try :)
Lovely food and great service with charming surroundings in one of the loveliest cities. The desserts are incredible...save some room!
This is a great place to go for a meal to celebrate, booked a table for 5 for my sisters graduation, the food and service were incredible and will definitely be returning. Thank you
The food was superb and the service was impeccable. A unique place which was wonderful for our group. We will be returning.
A phantom charge of 15 pounds on the bill wasn’t quite on the menu. Place is neither fine dining nor casual but the staff are nice and the hotel is lovely.
This lunch /afternoon brunch was a a disappointment to say the least .
My wife and my mother (84) joined me for a birthday celebration brunch /Prosecco offer £74.00
Food was ok but slow .
When the Male server cleared the table he failed to notice the Gravy dip pot was full and whist clearing the table Knocked the full pot of gravy over my cream trousers and shirt and his attitude was “O “ sorry and another waiter brought a cloth
And then charged me the wrong price for the meal
We had booked in for our son's graduation and it was a lovely evening. The staff were attentive and food was great. A very special evening and a lovely restaurant and would highly recommend it.
I booked afternoon tea here for a 30th birthday surprise and it was perfect - stunning decor, delicious food, fantastic service. We arent local but will definitely make the effort to come back. Highly, highly recommended.
Since we were staying on Great Pulteney Street on holiday, we had breakfast on two separate days here and thoroughly enjoyed the food, the service and the decor. The salmon and spinach Benedicts were our favorites. Also, cafe latte and cappuccino were delicious. A truly elegant experience unlike any other breakfast place on the way into Bath central city.
Food and ambiance was wonderful and we were extreemly well looked after by Davide
Generally good food and a lovely setting, however the service was very slow at times
Have recommended to several people already. Good value, careful service and a good menu.
Friendly, attentive and accommodating staff who looked after us very well.
Very good food served in a timely manner.
We would highly recommend this establishment and we look forward to visiting when we return to Bath in the future.
Lovely food, attentive service, and no loud music so we could have a conversation with our friends.
A great location and setting, perfect for the occasion !
On a lovely Sunday evening a walk in Bath and dinner at Number 15 was very pleasant. We had excellent fresh hake goujons, s favourite and very well done. My crispy duck salad was substantial and a good dish. House wine pretty good. Service smart and polite and professional. Sure nobody would be disappointed
This is the third time we’ve visited for brunch and every time we’ve enjoyed excellent service and wonderful food. Highly recommend.
Really lovely place! Food was very good and good value too. Lovely staff and we loved the quirky surroundings and decor! We'll be back! Thank you.
Great setting and convenient. Menu is quite varied and flexible. Food could have been a little hotter. Service seems to have had some positive attention, especially in the bar.
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed dining at The Dispensary. The staff were very friendly and efficient, the menu was tempting and we particularly liked the fact that we could share any of the plates we chose. The food was delicious and well presented. There were some interesting wines on the list. All in all an experience to be repeated.
Absolutely a great place to eat
Fantastic food, lovely environment, professional and friendly service. Excellent place to dine on a trip to Bath. Thoroughly recommend.
Lovely place for a treat. Chilled environment, accommodating staff , love food. Would recommend.
The service was too slow we had a table booked for 8 and didn’t get our main course until 9:45pm which tasted great but too late.
Interesting and attractive restaurant with an innovative menu.
Lovely dining area, attentive service and food was enjoyable.
Good food and wine choice. However, the service was slow. It took a while from being seated to anybody coming to even take our drink order. A little slow between courses too. Staff were friendly though.
Great food and great service, food was on the table in a timely manner and the staff were very accomodating. Great little gem and will be back on our next trip to Bath. Prices are very very reasonable.
Really enjoyed our evening - a broad menu with lots of good options, and the food was delicious whilst remaining very good value. Lovely service and we loved the ambience too.
