Waited over an hour for food order. Kids meal was a bigger serving than the adult meals. Had booked a table for 4 for food and was given a sofa and arm chairs with coffee table, not suitable for eating a meal. The staff were lovely there just wasn’t enough of them.

It's a handy place for a meal if you are going to the Waterfront although the menu is very limited. We had burger and chips which were decent but perhaps overpriced at £19.50. The service was fine and staff friendly enough.

Our table for 6 was really a table for 4 so was a very tight squeeze! The waitress when asked about gluten free options said there “was nothing “ and when I said “so I can’t have anything to eat? ” replied “looks like it “!!!!! We left No 4 and went to the hotel restaurant, which used the same kitchen, and amazingly was able to be accommodated my dietary requirements ! I would definitely not recommend No4, the entire experience was dreadful,

Very limited menu. Burger with nine chips is £19.50. Scandalous. Lunch time menu had a lot more choice. Cheapest bottle of wine £32 . Such a shame.

While the waiting staff were friendly and polite, the service was poor. The food was just ok and the main meals were cool, one had to sent back. The toilets were not particularly clean and it is mainly for these reasons that I thought the value for money for a four star hotel was particularly poor.

We booked a table for four. We were put in around a corner. I had to go to the bar to ask for our order to taken then eventually the food came out at two different times so we could not eat at the same time. We asked for water and cutlery twice eventually I had to go to the bar to ask again for cutlery when they arrived we had eaten with our hands as we all ordered the burger. Over all I was very disappointed and embarrassed as the other three people were my guest. We were guest of the hotel the same evening and I found the self-service breakfasts a much better experience.

Live music and lovely cocktails. Only negative is that the prices are a bit on the pricy side for Belfast. Otherwise would recommend for a chilled evening.

No point in booking as the menu is different from the menu on open table, also there was no table booked when we arrived, and was told we only have that table take it or leave it was the answer,we have eaten in there on several occasions and we WILL NOT BE BACK,seems no one knows what is happening,we had to eat there because we were going to a show, the food also not worth the price they was looking, like I said earlier totally different menu from your site.

We made a booking on open table and they didn't seem to know about it when we arrived, got ourselves a table in the end. They were busy but service was very slow, and we waited over an hour for our food (the manager did acknowledge this and took a meal off our bill). The food was very average, and slightly cold when it finally made it to the table. Also it is described as a cocktail bar but they couldn't make espresso martinis or a classic daiquiri due to lack of ingredients (on a Saturday night?). We probably wouldn't rush back.

I booked tables here for our Christmas night out from work after a meal we had been for. When we arrived we were told their booking system was down so they were not aware of what bookings were available. The member of staff was apologetic and tried to get us sorted. She approached a manager who was incredibly rude and actually shouted at the staff member, “what do you expect me to do”. My colleagues who were all with me at the other end of the bar heard this and were mortified for the poor member of staff who was only asking what she was supposed to do. The staff member told the manager that we would probably like to speak to her and she was again shouted at to just “sort it out”. The same manager then was refusing to serve people and ignoring people looking for drinks including a lady standing beside me. When we asked for a draft beer she told us there was none left despite the other bank of taps having the beer there. I pointed this it and she seemed angry that I had pointed this out to her. When she returned with the pint she slammed it down on the counter so hard I’m shocked that the glass didn’t smash as was my colleague who was next to me. Frankly it was just embarrassing. She was the only person who showed dreadful service and given I had recommended our team to come here due to previous positive experiences I’ve had in the bar I was frankly mortified. Honestly, I’ll never be back. The manager was petite, blonde hair tied back and wore glasses. One of the rudest people I have come accross in a long time.

The well staffed area was disorganised and no one was interested in us, a pre booked couple. The menu offering was poor, weird, manufactured and offered bad flavours and ridiculously poor value. The initially pleasant atmosphere was grossly broken by loud thumping from unnecessary carols and music. We won’t be back.

I booked a table through open table and viewed the menu. When I arrived I had to wait ten minutes for a table which wasn't the table I had requested in my booking. The menu was nothing like what I had viewed. The staff were inexperienced and overwhelmed. The bar was piled with dirty glasses. The food was deep fried and tasteless

Positives: Decor is absolutely gorgeous and great location (walking distance to Lanyon Place Train Station). Unfortunately there are a few negatives (in my opinion) - I’m sorry to say but the service is quite poor. I spent the evening there with 3 friends and all of us felt the staff were inattentive and consistently struggled to get their attention all evening for food order/drinks. It was also pretty clear when we arrived that the staff weren’t expecting our booking, luckily there was a table free. For a Friday night in December, the place was relatively quiet - I assume this is due to the drinks being slightly overpriced compared to other high market City Centre bars (£16.00 for a cocktail). Coming from a hospitality background myself, my advice would be - reduce the cost of drinks where possible & increase staff training.

I have an issue when I'm given the full bill and asked to pay in full before I have received a drink or any food. When I questioned the staff member I was told we had to pay first as it was hard to keep track of all the customers. Sorry just not good enough, I won't be back.

Lovely Deco and ambience . Staff where friendly but slightly hard to get their attention on occasion. Drinks expensive but then it’s a city centre venue. £12.50 for portion of chips and 3 small burgers £12.50 for chicken wings and chips. Food was ok nothing exciting and chips ordered was not what was served.Having said this we enjoyed our visit prior to show in Waterfront which is next door.I would return.

One of our party is vegetarian and had ordered the cesaer salad……for any chef to serve up a few lettuce leaves with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and a few croutons for £8 was a disgrace…..also the truffle Parmesan chips were again just chips with a sprinkle of cheese……..not what you expect from a top hotel like the Hilton. Absolutely no choice for vegetarians!!

Excellent looking bar, definitely one of the nicest looking bars in Belfast, however the service by staff is lacking. Slow service, not being asked if you would like a drink regularly especially when you have a table full of empty glasses.

Food was nice and came quickly, and the decor was modern. Front of house staff were very unorganised and appeared to be in experienced. Waited 15 mins with no menus to order from. The bar staff said they would send someone down and we eventually got one that was ripped and dirty. We were then told by a passing waiter to go up to the bar to order as it would be quicker. Not exactly restaurant service.
