Nobu - London
With its own street entrance on Old Park Lane, the 150 cover restaurant includes a separate sushi bar and enjoys commanding views across Hyde Park through full-height windows. Designed with simple elegance by United Designers, the interiors make subtle use of light woods and natural stone to reflect the diverse influences of Nobu's cuisine, incorporating the purity and quality materials inherent of traditional Japanese design.
Very expensive for the small portion size. Was expecting more ban for buck...
We celebrated my wife’s birthday at Nobu London...
Great food... Great ambiance...
aircondition was not working the entire evening. Management tried to push the excuse to the Management company. Pretty unpleasant sitting in a full restaurant entertaining clients having to bear with the heat. Have experiences other Nobu Restaurants around the world and pretty disappointing experience. Can not recommend for future experiences.
Loved the food, atmosphere, amazing staff. Had a birthday surprise from the staff. Really enjoyed my time there.
A wonderful treat and a wonderful experience overall.
On arrival, we were welcomed with great courtesy and efficiency and shown to our table immediately. The restaurant is light, bright, spacious with a gentle buzz of conversation.
The Service was excellent and non-intrusive. As it took my companion and I a little time to decide, the waiter seemed to know exactly when to return for our order. We chose the Bento Box each, Classic and Deluxe. The food was absolutely beautiful and the fish just melted in my mouth.
As it was my Birthday I was taken by surprise when the waiter brought a suitably decorated dish with a dessert ~ ice-cold yoghurt (?).
I cannot find fault, nor would I wish to, my only reservation was that the wine was somewhat over-priced, but that is a small aside to a wonderful meal. Thank you Nobu.
Good food and ambience but really poor service by a guy with a beard.
The food was good, but given the price and reputation we were expecting more. Decor was average and service was ok. We were expecting something amazing.
It was our first time to nobu and the waiter was extremely helpful throughout.
I found the restaurant very loud, it was impossible to have a conversation across the table. Furthermore, the food was heavily over priced 18€ for a spinach leave salat (litterally just spinach leaves, cheese, and a dressing), and this was just the starter it continued this way all the way to the end. The food was not extravagantly good to uphold such a price point.
Excellent food and service in an elegant yet laid back setting makes it a great dinner experience
Absolutely loved the food! Every mouthful was a treat, it was busy; I’m guessing it always is, the noise level was very high! I couldn’t really have a conversation! But the food was so good I didn’t really need to talk!
For such an expensive restaurant, the ambience and environment at Nobu Park Lane is poor. The service, whilst good, feels rushed and the whole experience in no way justifies the lofty price tag.
Amazing service, very helpful and friendly and knowledgable and a pleasure to have. Fabulous food as always, even for vegetarians. lovely touch of a birthday message and candle with pudding, even acknowledging it was our son’s ‘16th’ birthday which I had only mentioned in passing.
Entrance was confusing, as no one welcomed you, and was not obvious to go upstairs.
Wine was overpriced, and you had to keep prompting the waiters to top-up the wine.
Menu was too complicated.
Toilet was not presentable, for the price of the place, where is the attendant?
Apple crumble was diced, and overcooked, and very sweet.
I had better wagyu beef elsewhere, but the black cod was exceptional!
Nobu London (Park Lane) is definitely a must-visit restaurant. Amazing food and great coctail list. Would absolutely recommend
We were here with teenagers, the Sushi were very tasty and creative (e.g. Sushi in a small cup). Service was super friendly and gave also a good wine recommendation.
Absolutely beautiful food. Innovation Japanese cuisine with good select of wine pairing. A wonderful night for us.
I have been to Nobu in NYC, which was fabulous, what a let down London Old Park Lane was...
Firstly, the service was fantastic but for me that’s where it stopped.
The decor is like you are in the blandest dinning experience ever... the level of noise was deafening.
Below par food, steamed broccoli so salty you could not eat it, chicken tasteless and seafood .. lobster grisly and prawns not what I would expect from Nobu.
Could not wait to leave...
The food is good but not amazing, overpriced for what it is.
Felt like we were in a strip mall
Service was rushed. Waitress wouldn’t leave us alone. Quite disappointing for such a great restaurant.
I leave no comments here.
Simply the best meal I have had in my entire life. Service started out a bit slow after we said something. The sliders are incredible as was the gyoga. So good that we ordered more of each. Amazing.
Trip to london
We had a lovely lunch on a beautiful sunny day. The bento box is a real favourite and the cocktails were excellent. Service was as friendly and attentive as ever.
Expectations were higher than the food and experience delivered. Although the miso black cod was excellent, our service seemed rushed and the ambiance of Nobu London fell extremely short of our expectations.
The server was very nonchalant, uninspiring and not friendly. Made for a very average experience. Couldn’t answer simple questions.
Service remains terrible. We only come because the food is so good, every time the service lacks- you are either ignored for ages or rushed, not friendly, and they shut the kitchen without telling you. Given how expensive the food and drink is, the service should be 5* like it is around the rest of the world.
Excellent food as usual, waiters who can explain in detail what's on the menu, its not cheap but why would it be when it's so consistently good. Been here many times and will continue doing so, we do not live in London and drive over two and a half hours for lunch WHY NOT???
Totally overpriced sushi not amazing
Food is consistently very good. Our waiter recommended a couple of new dishes which were lovely.
fantastic service and high quality food but was surprisingly quiet although it was a wednesday lunchtime. We enjoyed the lychee cocktail and cucumber gin cocktail which were delightful.
Very disappointing! Having heard good things about Nobu in other locations I was looking forward to dinner at Nobu in London. Area and sidewalk in front of restaurant was filthy and uninviting. Facade and entrance were dated and faded, not appealing. Staff was confused and appeared uninterested in their jobs. Food was "OK" but flavors were unbalanced and presentations haphazard. This may have been a good restaurant at one time but I was completely unimpressed.
Really enjoyed it. Went with friends who were nervous about the raw fish etc. but everyone loved it. The staff were really helpful and attentive. Is definitely on my "will go again" list.
The staff were very professional and both my son and I appreciated all they did to ensure he had a great birthday dinner.
the food is amaizing but the plac should be renovate.
Quality of food was amazing. This was a special occasion and Nobu didn’t disappoint. From the delicious cocktails on arrival to the wonderful service with recommendations for dishes to order it was fantastic... and then the food! The signature salt cod was divine and the yellowtail sashimi were both outstanding. A top notch experience.
Really looked forward to this meal as part of our honeymoon experience. Made sure I’m not in jeans and t-shirt to enjoy the experience. Was quite taken aback when I see diners turning up in jeans and non-collared shirts. There wasn’t a proper basket or bag hook for ladies and they had to dine with bags on the floors. I understand that the stars are no longer valid for this establishment but would still prefer these fine details to have more attention paid to.
But the food was good, service attentive, though I will just view it as a upmarket casual joint, judging from how the other diners have no respect for dress code, it’s a shame that it mars the experience of the good food dished by the Chefs. Keep up the cooking! All the best!
Awesome food. Helpful waiter with menu advice. Well worth the money. A little noisy
We loved it ... Food is exquisite!! Very relaxing place !! Definitely visit you again !
