Amazing delicious food, got the sea food, would recommend you visit this place
Nobu never disappoints. Delicious food!
Staff was very attentive & wonderful and food was good, like usual. My partner and I go to Nobu any time we're in a city that has one. I won't be rushing back to this location. It was extremely loud and had multiple massive groups of diners. One group spilled two drinks on their table in a span of five minutes. Another table had 15+ people sitting around it, getting up and down, taking shots, FaceTiming on speaker. I felt really bad for the wait staff. Not a setting for a romantic birthday dinner.
The food was excellent service out of this world. It was our son’s birthday he was really made to feel special. Our waiter was great and just so fantastic throughout. 5 stars!
Just fabulous as always!
Highly recommend the yellowtail jalapeño. Both times never disappointed.
A place we’ve always wanted to try, and it didn’t disappoint!
I had such a wonderful birthday dinner, the food was truly phenomenal, each dish was superb. We were served by Elena, who was such a sweet Waitress, and even though having two small children with us, everyone made us feel so welcome. We enjoyed ourselves immensely, cannot wait to go back!
Excellent food and so well presented. Our lovely server, Helénē, was so helpful and accommodating. The restaurant was a little noisy but given that the table next to ours had young children, it was expected.
A wonderful evening and meal. When we sat down we immediately realised there was a group of 'entitled' men on a table nearby - talking very loud, beating their hands on the table, behaving as if the place was theirs! All tables around complained and asked to be moved. The waiters and maitre were very helpful, talked to the men a few times and moved us all. Never seen this before, their table was literally surrounded by empty tables ! When they left the ambiance noise decreased considerably. We could finally enjoy each other company and incredible food. Service was impeccable and Hyde Park view very pleasant. Nobu, as usual, delivered it all. Thank you. Missed you
We went to Nobu for my son's birthday celebration. Good location and food.
From the moment we were greeted to the moment we left the staff were polite, helpful and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and the cocktails and wine superb!
Nice food, nice ambient, reliable Nobu.
Ideal for a nice family dinner, a quite business dinner or a romantic one
Daughters 20th birthday!!! Amazing. Blackened cod was sensational
Thank you for your great quality and service, do your best to continue with this level
The food was not worth the price. I’ve had better sushi elsewhere with splendid flavours
Everything perfect… as usual….
Consistently incredible food, charming staff. A real treat and special occasion place. In my opinion still the best Japanese food in London
This is the Fifth time having visited a Nobu restaurant and the Third in London, there has been a Significant change in the quality of the dishes, the taste was just so where it should be, on every occasion and with every dish tasted in the past, there was always a wow moment when tasted your dish, while the food wasn’t horrible, it wasn’t great either. Poor seasoning, the sauces on some dishes were bland and lacked the flavour that was typical. I’m afraid we won’t be back to a Nobu again anytime soon.
Great time with great service. Food was impeccable.
Everything about our evening was excellent. It was our sons 18th birthday & it really made it special. Food, wine, cocktails, service was all fantastic.
In need of refurbishment, it is run down and not a pleasant experience
Been coming here for 22 years the food was disappointing this time, the flavours generally was bland we even had to send back the boiled rice and was offered a pathetic excuse from the kitchen. The kitchen needs to improve fast, this is not the Nobu we know/knew and love, nearly £400 for 2 ! we did have enough to come to this view. Excellent service as usual.
We had an excellent birthday dinner with the whole family. The food was lovely and not as expensive as we had expected. Service was attentive. And they even brought my daughter a special birthday dessert. It was a lovely surprise and totally unexpected - during the reservation process, I had been asked if it was a special occasion and I replied 'birthday'. Then I forgot about it until they brought the birthday dessert and surprised us all. A very enjoyable evening.
Some of the best food I have ever eaten, expensive but well worth it
We were looking forward to going to Nobu as we have heard great things. When we got there, we were seated in a very quiet area so we asked to move. The ambience and the decor in the restaurant was very poor and extremely dated. For the amount of money we paid, the can surely afford a refurb! Food was great but v overpriced
Excellent food, service, atmosphere and location.
The food at Nobu is underrated in my opinion, it is consistently excellent. This venue is extremely dated. Everything from the heavily marked tables and chairs to the 20 year old leather benches you would find in a city office building is in need of an upgrade. The service was a little slow but friendly and knowledgeable.
Nobu never fails to disappoint, especially at Old Park Lane. The excellent service and exquisite food justifies a five star experience.
Shame that it’s the Berkeley Street branch that closed. Nobu at Old Park Lane is a bit spiritless although the food is great. Service was nothing to complain about, but nothing to rave about either. Altogether a bit of a bland experience really, and don’t think I’d go back.
Always loved the buzz and vibe at Berkeley Street though!
No rivew revgfffffggggggffffgggggggggggggggggggggg
Food was shocking, bland, no taste and soggy!! Shocked as we have eaten in other chains loads of times with no problems! Wouldn’t be going back unfortunately
The food is good but wayyy overpriced for what it is. Bill came up to £400 for 6 guests, having one course each. Staff were unfriendly and stiff and didn't really talk to us much. The waiter assigned to our table explained the menu and was helpful however. I do not feel that staff were approachable and friendly. They charge £5.50 per person if you are bringing in a birthday cake which I think is ridiculous, as people naturally want to celebrate their birthday in a restaurant and to charge for this is incredibly absurd. It's called a CAKEAGE fee. ( I'm unsure if Nobu have invented this concept.....as I have NEVER been charged for bringing a cake to a restaurant) Have you????
It was my birthday and I can safely say that I will not be returning, as they charged me to celebrate it!.... in addition to the overall high expense of the restaurant. Anyway the price is not a surprise as I could have gone to other much affordable restaurants & it was my decision to come to Nobu Mayfair as I wanted the experience. However I felt that the atmosphere was stiff, unfriendly and staff too busy to take a moment to make u feel special on your special occasion. They also brought the bill without us requesting for them to do so, which showed they wanted us to leave as soon as we were done. I was conscious of this as the manager kept on looking at us walking past our table. I will not return as I really didn't like the attitude of the staff at all.
I wasn’t that impressed to be honest
The food was average
Over priced for what we had
It felt like a cafe not a Michelin star restaurant
Nice restaurant with great service. Waiter was very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately what I expected from a top notch Japanese with a price tag is not what i experienced. Food was good but not as amazing as I thought, the teriyaki sauce was not sweet, the ‘spicy’ sauce was definitely not spicy. Whilst the food was good it just wasn’t as impressive as I thought it would be especially when paying over £100 to feed two people. Great one off experience to tick off a bucket list but unfortunately would not dine here again .
Ambiance and surroundings for a Nobu restaurant was very disappointing. Have been to Nobu in Berkeley square, Los Angeles, and this one. Mayfair one was by far the poorest. Squashed up tables, no decor and very minimalistic
Food was extremely over priced, even by Nobu standards
Soup delivered warm instead of hot
Sashimi brought at room temperature rather than ice cold.
Very disappointed and won’t be going back again.
Fully deserving of its reputation the entire experience was fantastic.
The food was outstanding. The service was OK, but somehow the ambience of something special was not there. For a lunch for three people, with a single bottle of modest wine the bill came to £370. This is simply far too much for the overall experience and left a bad taste in the mouth. Definitely a dramatically inferior experience to the last time I ate at Nobu - at the now defunct Berkeley Street restaurant. I will not be going back.
The food is class but I had a major problem. Please reach out to me personally and I will provide the details.
Lovely food and great service.
Did not really find the whole experience as nice and exciting as I thought it would be.
Service was OK, food amazing - just the whole experience was not what I really wished for.
Lacking buzz and excitement.
