Nobu - London
With its own street entrance on Old Park Lane, the 150 cover restaurant includes a separate sushi bar and enjoys commanding views across Hyde Park through full-height windows. Designed with simple elegance by United Designers, the interiors make subtle use of light woods and natural stone to reflect the diverse influences of Nobu's cuisine, incorporating the purity and quality materials inherent of traditional Japanese design.
This was the third time we went to Nobu in London. The place is nice but too big comparing with other Nobu we have already visited.
Service was a bit confusing, various waiters serving us so not very 'personal'.
Noise was a bit high. Food was good, some dishes were outstanding, others were just OK.
Delicious food, kind staff. Would definitely recommend cod and lobster tempura as mains.
Food was very tasty. Services was good. Plates are to share. Overall very enjoyable evening.
Our favorite restaurant in London. Very professional waiters and the food is over the top always
Great food still.
Amazing food! Just be prepared to pay for it :) £££££
Delicious produce. Good Food
Awesome! We were a large party and our waiter was incredible with keeping up with us and assisting with food order!
Food and waitress was lovely. They took an extremely long time to give us the bill and card machine
The food was excellent. Our waiter was brilliant and very helpful.
The only fault was our wait when we arrived. I received an email and a call to ensure that my party was not more than 15 minutes late for the reservation. We arrived on time and had to wait 45 minutes to be seated. No complimentary drink was offered or item on our bill comped. A bit disappointing seeing as the rest of the dining experience was fantastic.
More like a nightclub, unable to speak through dinner. Alcohol an screaming like in a youth disco.
We hasted through dinner to get out of there.
Unacceptable. Never experienced that in ANY restaurant. Especially not in such a (expected) hogh-class restaurant.
A shadow of Nobu Manhattan / New York.
Very nice food - we had the tasting menu; good but not great service. Room was cacophonous. And very, very expensive. An interesting insight into how the very rich like to spend a Saturday evening. I wouldn't go to Nobu again, but liked the food enough to want to hunt out other Japanese restaurants in London where I'm sure there is better value to find.
Food was nice but felt the staff were rushing the service, would have liked to have the next course serviced when everyone has finished eating the first.
Fantastic good and great service. Shall return for the next meal.
The food was below average and service was even worse. Three people complained about wrong billing and it happened with us as well! Really a horrible experience given the amount we had to pay!
Excellent, even after so many years since my last visit. Amazing!
Overall a good experience - food quality cannot be questioned its second to none however the restaurant itself could have a better atmosphere and although we had good service overall we were asked to hurry up and vacate the table just it was obvious that we were leaving anyway which marred the experience slightly and was a completely unnecessary intervention.
The sashimi was really fresh and good unfortunately there was no chawanmushi.
Has changed significantly in past few years -some dishes (ie black cod) remain excellent but others were mediocre and less inspired and quality wasn’t commensurate with price.
Fantastic food. Drinks overpriced though - £20 for a martini!
Sehr spannendes Erlebnis. Wir kommen wieder.
This Nobu Old Park Lane in London was the worst restaurant from all other Nobu’s I have been to including NYC, LA and Milan. The sushi was badly rolled, tasted like a usual neighbourhood sushi restaurant. The warm dishes were excellent as usual though. Ambience: a definite NO! Extremely loud and furniture like a work canteen differs quite a lot from the other restaurants of Nobu.
Disappointing overall, needs urgent attention!
we ate at nobu after many years and were excited to see the new additions to the classic nobu dishes however they were disappointing .
Banoffee pie tasted very bland too.
ofcourse the price at eh end of the evening with alcoholic drinks was still £100 a head !
atmosphere was not as good this time either sorry to say we didnt enjoy it
I was expecting better quality, improve the taste, colour, appareance. Price were to high
Service wasn’t great and lacking in the ambiance, service and quality of NYC Nobu
We celebrated my sons 18th birthday and this was his treat. We both love sushi, but this food was the most amazing food we have ever had! One more gorgeous dish after another 😊 The service was impeccable and everyone was lovely. The only minus was the restaurant itself. Not very charming and a bit cold looking. But overall very pleased and will definitely come back!
Birthday dinner. I hadn’t been in a long time and I found it a bit touristy. Not as classy as it used to be. But still excellent food and service
Wonderful food, every dish tasted incredible. The best sushi I have ever had. Drinks were outstanding and the signature cocktails were inspired and unique. Our waitress was fantastic, very helpful and friendly. One of the best restaurants in London by far. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves Japanese food.
It was so noisy and dress code was not adhered to strictly. There were people wearing sweatpants. I expected so much more from the food for the price point, but was slightly disappointed. The service was exceptional but it is not enough to make me go back again. It was no wonder their michelin star got taken away.
Very expensive for the small portion size. Was expecting more ban for buck...
We celebrated my wife’s birthday at Nobu London...
Great food... Great ambiance...
aircondition was not working the entire evening. Management tried to push the excuse to the Management company. Pretty unpleasant sitting in a full restaurant entertaining clients having to bear with the heat. Have experiences other Nobu Restaurants around the world and pretty disappointing experience. Can not recommend for future experiences.
Loved the food, atmosphere, amazing staff. Had a birthday surprise from the staff. Really enjoyed my time there.
A wonderful treat and a wonderful experience overall.
On arrival, we were welcomed with great courtesy and efficiency and shown to our table immediately. The restaurant is light, bright, spacious with a gentle buzz of conversation.
The Service was excellent and non-intrusive. As it took my companion and I a little time to decide, the waiter seemed to know exactly when to return for our order. We chose the Bento Box each, Classic and Deluxe. The food was absolutely beautiful and the fish just melted in my mouth.
As it was my Birthday I was taken by surprise when the waiter brought a suitably decorated dish with a dessert ~ ice-cold yoghurt (?).
I cannot find fault, nor would I wish to, my only reservation was that the wine was somewhat over-priced, but that is a small aside to a wonderful meal. Thank you Nobu.
Good food and ambience but really poor service by a guy with a beard.
The food was good, but given the price and reputation we were expecting more. Decor was average and service was ok. We were expecting something amazing.
It was our first time to nobu and the waiter was extremely helpful throughout.
I found the restaurant very loud, it was impossible to have a conversation across the table. Furthermore, the food was heavily over priced 18€ for a spinach leave salat (litterally just spinach leaves, cheese, and a dressing), and this was just the starter it continued this way all the way to the end. The food was not extravagantly good to uphold such a price point.
