Nobu - London
With its own street entrance on Old Park Lane, the 150 cover restaurant includes a separate sushi bar and enjoys commanding views across Hyde Park through full-height windows. Designed with simple elegance by United Designers, the interiors make subtle use of light woods and natural stone to reflect the diverse influences of Nobu's cuisine, incorporating the purity and quality materials inherent of traditional Japanese design.

Our two main courses did not arrive at all and it was too late to get it at the end. The sushi game very late which left us full and it did not taste good at all, both told were very average and the rice was not fresh! On a good note the edemame Was very good as well as th but lobster salad.
Good food still but slipping overall. Relying on the same old favourites to sell. Need to refresh. Service is not where it should be.
The Food was amazing, everything we ordered was totally delicious.
The food was outstanding as usual BUT the service was incredibly poor. We felt rushed from the minute we sat down, a birthday cake was delivered before main courses, and overall felt like we were being pushed out the door.
Very basic decor
Good good..very small portions for the price
Menu..no starter or main separation
The place was really noisy. And we have been charge for the wrong plate
Very good food, very nice ambience, waitress was very attentious.
Cannot fault nobu. We had the signature tasting menu and was one of the tastiest meals I’ve ever had.
Excellent and attentive staff and premium food.
We just had another great treat at nobu for Saturday lunch.
Service and food excellent although service was under strain as restaurant filled up
Wine list as expected large range of wines from expensive to more modestly priced
Food and wine. Generous choices available All well presented and delicious
Fair value and ideal for a special night out
Minor complaint. I found the chair allocated to my table quite uncomfortable
Can recommend and would definitely visit again
Always great food, great service. Oliver is best maitre d' and the whole staff is wonderful!
Date night with my husband. We had the tasting menu. The food was fresh, beautifully presented and tasty. We particularly enjoyed the monkfish and the lamb courses. We felt the cocktails and sake were great value for money but would have liked a sweet treat with our tea to finish the meal. Overall service was good, the team were attentive but not over the top, nor did we feel rushed considering the restaurant was fairly busy. We would go back!
always go for the fish! yellow tail starter, sashimi, unagi sushi and black cod. these diahea never fail to impress!
We have been a few times and every time impressed, took my daughter this time and she is a convert. Food, the service and the whole package was impeccable, simply amazing, thank you for such a special Saturday
Excellent but bit noisy, great food!!
Best avocado I have ever eaten!
As expected, perfect service and great food
Super night out celebration my son's 18th birthday and acceptance to Uni
Been to other Nobus around the world and this didn’t meet the standard in service or food
Off all the Nobu places that I have been, this is the worst. The food is better than fine, but the wait staff is rushed and will give close to no customer service. If you are used to great service, this place is not for you. Second, the noise level is off the charts and the seats are extremely close. It really is an uncomfortable experience. The ceiling is so low that if you are 178cm, you are close to hitting your head. Even though the walls are white, it is dark and claustrophobic.
Truly a disappointment and should go to one of the other Nobu locations in London.
The meal was of good standard however it is overpriced for not only the food but the setting. It is very loud - struggle to hear servers and also other people you are sat with - and also you are packed like sardines with little room to walk.
Great location, atmosphere, service, professional and friendly.
Ieder keer weer weergaloos.. niet goedkoop maar oh zo lekker
Of all the Nobu restaurant in the world that I frequent this always remains my favorite.
Fantastic food especially the sashimi
An amazing evening, crazy expensive but well worth it!
We were treated very poorly and it ruined our evening
We arrived at 21:30 and it was buzzing. Service was very good and the good as usual amazing!
The emperor, in my view, has no clothes. I wanted to like Nobu and expected to be wowed after reading other reviews prior to our meal. It was quite underwhelming. To say it’s minimalist is understatement. There are only bare white walls that do nothing to muffle sound. The experience, therefore, was of sitting in a hospital cafeteria. So I thought the food would make up for absence of ambience. Nope. The nigiri pieces are OK. Neither large nor fabulous they are simply OK. I’ve had equal in multiple less known and less pricy restaurants. Did I order incorrectly? Perhaps. But with the apparent hyperventilation from so many other reviews it should not have been a matter of “lucky orders”. I wanted to like Nobu but it offered me no reason to.
Excellent food and service, pricey but worthwhile!
We’ve been going to Nobu for many years and it never disappoints. Delicious food and excellent service as usual.
Nobu delivers as always but the noise level is horrible. Will not come for dinner again because if that.
The food is standard, and the prices are high. Not a good value for what you pay. The service was poor and unkind.
Very nice but unbelievably expensive. £300 for two.
Was not as expected at all , it is supposed to be a leading restaurant in its kind but unfortunately was disappointed, it’s atmosphere is a little bit outdated, toilets were not as clean as should be at least from my experience , food was good though not exceptional but good .
It’s more of a stigma than what it actually is especially in London restaurants are racing on the presentation atmosphere and overall experience .
Excelente comida!! De lo mejor que hay en Londres!
Poor design, poor ambiance
There are better places to eat Japanese in London now. Nobu needs to improve to catch up.
Went to the much hyped Nobu for our daughter’s 21sr birthday treat and we were not disappointed. Thoughtful and attentive service from start to finish and the food, though expensive, was heavenly.
