The menu at Nobu London, draws heavily on Matsuhisa's classic Japanese training as a sushi chef in Tokyo, as well as on South American influences gained during his extensive travels. The resulting "new style" Japanese cuisine has become both his trademark and the foundation of his success.

With its own street entrance on Old Park Lane, the 150 cover restaurant includes a separate sushi bar and enjoys commanding views across Hyde Park through full-height windows. Designed with simple elegance by United Designers, the interiors make subtle use of light woods and natural stone to reflect the diverse influences of Nobu's cuisine, incorporating the purity and quality materials inherent of traditional Japanese design.

The food average , Zuma and other similar restaurants by far better ..
Service although very good they changed plates 3-4 times, they were getting one plate at a time .. so at the end not very good ...
Nice environment ..
Very expensive for what you get .. there are many more with better food and better value for money ...

Outstanding meal. Expected the food to be first rate but the atmosphere was really buzzy at 7.30pm on a Saturday night. 3 of us had the classic tasting menu and one the modern. For me, and I've had a few, the best Japanese I've ever had, a view echoed by at least 3 others at the table of 6. Fantastic.

Took my girlfriend here for a birthday surprise on Friday evening. Booked early 6:30-7ish, the restaurant was very welcoming and you knew the service would be great as all staff were beaming and do a ritualistic greeting which is very cheerful.
I asked for a table with nice view and we were sat in front of a window overlooking the lights outside which was perfect.
Service was impeccable, our waiter was enthusiastic, knew his food and wine, was more than happy to answer all of our questions and made fantastic recommendations. Massive thank you to him!
The food, wow. Sublime with a touch of awesome. When each dish comes out and you look across the table to the person who is about to share this moment with you in pure elated apprehension. Presentation was flawless, the food was fresh and after each bite we guiltily looked at each other mouth full still and could barely contain the happiness!
Our Meal consisted of;
Edamame beans salted - fresh and sweet, great appetiser
California rolls - soft shell crab and avocado, amazing sushi morsels
Seared Scallop Sashimi - fresh, the sauce was light and flavoursome
Rock Shrimp Tampura - with 3 sauces...get all 3. amazing. you'll have to try to understand. Jalepeno and wasabi creamy, buffalo and siracha mayo, ponzu.
Black Cod on Butter lettuce - great flavours, the little crispy strips on the cod are incredible, like sweet edible melt in the mouth cod bones.
Wagyu Tobonyaki - meat was so good, expected nothing less! Served on a hot plate with the most delicious mushrooms 3 style.
Broccoli w/ 2 sauce - the hot sesame soy sauce was good, but the peanut satay was out of this World! best peanut sauce I've ever tasted, I've tasted a few.
Wine - Chateau Bordeaux 2014. Very flavorsome, went with the meal perfectly.
Dessert - Soft fluffy dough balls filled with melted chocolate w/ pistachio and almond ice cream garnished with a Birthday message with candle.
Suffice to say I am thrilled with the whole experience. I'll be back.

A decor meant to be "minimalist" but looks like a strip mall noodle shop. Walls echo amplifying any sound in the dining room. We couldnt hear our waitress at all, we couldn't talk to each other as every time we attempted a loud banter from one of our neigboring tables made us stop. by the time we left I had a headache. We could have had dinner at the food court of any mall, it was just as tiring. If you are not familiar with Nobu specials it is impossible to try anything new as it is impossible to communicate with the waitreess to understand the special items. So we ended up with what we know, sushi and sashimi. And it was good. Was it better than every sushi sashimi we had ever, no. It is OK. But would I go back to the Nobu Mayfair, No.

Had a quick business lunch with an old colleague. It's a bright open friendly environment which is great from friends or business meetings. The food is superb as is the selection. Staff know their menu, polite and friendly, but not intrusive.

Salads were very mediocre, just leaves and a few pieces of fish. All salads tastes same. Prawn sashimi is a COOKED prawn, not raw as it meant to be. Wagyu beef is good, only thing worth trying there. The rest is very very average.

First time we went to Nobu and we were delighted to dine here especially being vegetarians. We had the vegetarian Omakase which had 7 courses. Every Course was served to perfection and quality that Nobu is renowned for. I would not hesitate to go back again would recommend this dining experience.

The food was very good but the portions are small. I found it very pricey. Unfortunately the entire experience was let down by the waiters.

For a restaurant of this calibre I would expect the staff to be better and highly trained. The food was rushed out to us. Plates are taken away extremely quickly. Sometimes we hadn't even finished the course and the next one was coming out. I hadn't finished the food on my plate and the waiter took the plate away. I asked some questions about the food, and found the waiters didn't know much or show much enthusiasm in regards to answering my question. It was that bad, I really felt like asking for my optional service charge to be removed but I didn't want to make a scene. It's unlikely I will be going back which is a real shame because the food was actually quite good despite the portions being small.

You can taste the quality of the food here. It was delicious and everything was well executed although if I had one criticism it would be that the bento boxes could be slightly smaller (and cheaper).

Was looking forward to going to this place. In short - very disappointing, overrated- there are plenty of other restaurants in London that offer better food at a fraction of the price. Service was ok, although they had little knowledge of what they were serving.

The place is a bit out of date. I expected something more vibrant. The food was very good even though some of the plates are very short portions. The service is amazing. But overall the food is delicious.

Nobu lived up to my expectations.
Great food. Fantastic and friendly service.
Our waiter gave us lots of excellent tips on what to have.
