Nobu - London
With its own street entrance on Old Park Lane, the 150 cover restaurant includes a separate sushi bar and enjoys commanding views across Hyde Park through full-height windows. Designed with simple elegance by United Designers, the interiors make subtle use of light woods and natural stone to reflect the diverse influences of Nobu's cuisine, incorporating the purity and quality materials inherent of traditional Japanese design.

Very Very small portions but the food was very good in general
Beautiful tasting menus.
I actually was a bit disappointed. Not a great value for money. The atmosphere was not really inviting to stay longer and the tables were way much to close. You could hear every single word of the neighbors table.
Would definitely go to another restaurant for good sushi.
Excellent food, wonderfully helpful waitress. Expect to pay for it as it is pricey but worth every penny.
Good food. Quite expensive. Good service. Design is not modern, atmosphere was good
We went to Nobu for the first time expecting very good things, since it has a good reputation at least in the past. We arrived for lunch and the restaurant was not very busy. When people did arrive, it was mostly small groups of businessmen likely there for a working lunch. The atmosphere is so-so, and not buzzing. The interior decor could use some rejuvenation.
We enjoyed the lunch bento boxes and were impressed with the flavour and portion size. I especially liked the truffle teriyaki poussin and my sister liked the black cod. The sushi and sashimi were plentiful and fresh. For the most part, it was standard but tasty Japanese food. The cocktails were creative and delicious!
Service was attentive but we had one major disappointment when one of my dishes was presented as fried snow crab in wasabi sauce by a server other than our main server. We tasted it and it was salmon. I asked our server, who then apologised and said she knew they were out of snow crab but assumed the kitchen would replace it with the king crab. They did not and instead used much cheaper salmon which did not even taste very good with the sauce. They did replace it later with king crab but it is not great that they didn't tell me when I ordered and they even served it saying it was snow crab.
Overall we think the restaurant itself was okay, and the food was tasty and with good portions but we were glad to have paid the lunch prices because it was expensive enough for what you get. We would not go for dinner because I think that would seem way over-priced!
Amazing food especially the wagyu and black cod, surprisingly good on the vegetarian dishes as well
All of the staff were lovely, extremely pleasant. Black cod was up there as one of the best things I’ve had in my life. Food generally of excellent quality. Bar staff happy to mix cocktails that we requested off menu, but on menu cocktails also delicious. Very pleasant evening.
The decor of this Nobu was seriously lacking It is very outdated and in need of a remodel. The atmosphere put a damper on what was meant to be a special celebratory dinner. We did not linger over cocktails or stay for dessert and tea. The staff was lovely and the food was good. The otorro was not up to snuff.
As always food was fabulous but there were a few items you were out of which is always disappointing. Ex: artichoke salad.
There was one thing that I did not care for. They kept trying to take my drink away before I was finished.
Still a favorite when I come to London.
The interior is a bit tired and expired, Sir a 1886-89, esp comparing to some other upscale restaurants. Food was ok, service- ok
Amazing food - great service - great wine - knowledgeable staff - spoilt slightly by a loud large party who I think decided that if they were unnecessarily then loud it looked like they were having more fun than us
Main course arrived cold, had to send back which then took another 20mins to arrive, with the other main source already served. Not a service you would expect from Nobu.
Overall food quality was not as good as previous visits either and left us with a not great experience and not wishing to return any time soon.
Cheap Disposable wooden chopsticks :( .... next time please serve me with some quality chopsticks.
Great food and excellent staff
A busy bustling restaurant.
Service is good .
Food excellent both had edamame, sushi followed by salmon and sea bass with cauliflower all very tasty . Would recommend , not a quiet restaurant but a nice atmosphere
Food was standard, not as special as it once was regardless of the fact that it took an hour to reach.
Had a great evening
The staff, food, ambience and company were fantastic
Love the Japanese Margaritia's; I had 3 !!
Contemporary decor and food...excellent experience!
Excepcional.
Could not fault anything!
I have been a Nobu customer for a few years eating at both San Diego and Dallas and am a huge fan. All I can say is the experience at Nobu London was a huge letdown from what we know the other restaurants to be. While the food was OK, it was not worth 1/2 of the £450 check we were presented. In addition, we received better service from the food runners than server.
Bonissimo. Cibo buono Vino buono. Tutto perfeto per cena
Me and my partner were celebrating our Anniversary and we had such a lovely time.
Unfortunately for me I’m lactose intolerant so couldn’t have many options but my dish was amazing.
The service was fantastic the Young Spanish lady that was looking after us was so knowledgeable of what we should of order and she remembered throughout the night that I couldn’t have any dairy products so she made sure that mine and my partner dishes wouldn’t touch.
It was a bit pricey for sushi and I think my boyfriend will think twice next time I choose wine on my own but it was all worth it :)
The food and drink are exquisite if not a little pricey. But you pay for great service and surroundings in Mayfair. Scallop sashimi and prawn tempura were insanely good. They gave me a bday treat at end of meal.
Good food but expensive - the atmosphere itself was good, but we expected more for the price.
It was fantastic restaurant, who gives very good food!
Te restaurant is gorgeous, the menú superb. One of the best japanese fusion restaurants I ve ever been. Alessandro attention was amazing, ask for him If you go. Unforgettable night
Superb! Really good meal
Fabulous food, great cocktails and friendly, helpful service! We went for our wedding anniversary and it was a lovely evening!
Bad service from the waiter !
A very enjoyble evening with delicious food.
Tables a tad close together to have a conversation without hearing or being overheard by your neighbours. Though we had friendly ones which was nice.
Surprised by the casual dress of some patrons which I felt let the atmosphere down a bit. Perhaps a dress code might avoid tracksuit bottoms and ripped jeans.
Service excellent and knowledgeable about the food on offer. Might be worth some more training on the drinks available to be able to give advice on options available etc rather than having to check with the bar.
and, service is perfect.
I hope visit again.
Thank you for perfect dinner.
Having last dined at Nobu around ten years ago in Park Lane - and had an amazing meal, I was really disappointed with my trip back. The restaurant seems tired, had no atmosphere, terrible lighting (some where even bulbs were dead and not replaced - over our table even) and the service was terrible. On four occasions we had drinks/dishes brought to our table that were not for us, the table next to us had similar problems - compounded by the fact a gentlemen dining on his own was hosting a skype meeting on his laptop (very loudly) on the table next to us which spoiled the whole evening. The food was average - Ceviche did not taste fresh, and was far too acidic (even for a ceviche) Yellow tail with jalpeno was actually great, as was the Snow Crab with Creamy Spicy sauce - however the Sushi was very average and bland, served on a plain white plate with water marks all over it, followed by a luke-warm beef tenderloin with teriyaki. This used to be the jewel in the Nobu crown in London, but would recommend the Berkley Street site above this one - and Zuma/Roka before these guys now. £200 bill for 2 people with no alcohol is very punchy for what was a very average meal. It felt like a trip to Wagamama's but ten times more expensive.
Very bad experience. Food mediocre, service terrible and very arrogant. Been to other Nobu’s and this one should not get the name. I do not recommend this place and I will never return.
We were so deeply disappointed about our experience at Nobu Park lane. I have been to Newport LA restaurant and Dubai which were a completely different level. We thought the service was terrible. Our server was extremely rude and ill mannered. We felt uncomfortable- he asked us "is that it" when we ordered a roll of sushi each and drinks including a starter. Felt like they constantly wanted to up sell
The menu has excellent choice and caters for all.
Our favourites were black cod, the grilled beef and lobster! Just delicious!
I think the service team was simply too inexperienced and unprofessional for such a costly restaurants.
Still the best food in London - possibly the best service too
A lot too expensive for what you get ! there are many better places in London when it comes to enjoy Sushi-Sashimi and co.
Very poor return on equity !
Food and cocktails where to die for . Everything else was im afraid to say average or below.
