Amazing food. Great Value. Ambience ok.
Overall really good but Nobu NYC is the favourite so far
Was date night with my partner. Food was very good the star for me was the miso black cod, the Wagyu was very good, as was the the Tempura king crab. The service was very good, a very menu knowledgeable waitress, I asked for a 15-20 minute delay between starter and main course which was perfect, a bit pricey but a very nice evening out, would definitely recommend, and go back for that Black Cod
Restaurant was great just needs a bit of an update.
Great food , location and service....what more do you need????
Very good food and nice location.
Finished meal in 35 minutes. Food came out too quickly. Waitress was like rushing me to get out. One dish was too acidic and the other dish was too salty.
Memorable dinner. The cuisine was outstanding and the taste delicious.
I booked this restaurant as it was special occasion and a friend of mine had come over especially from Holland. I booked at table for 9.45pm on Friday and we turned up on time.
From the minute we sat down we felt incredibly rushed and pressured into ordering quickly.
We chose the very expensive tasting menu, but this was served in a rushed manner.
We ordered some nibbles initially that never turned up yet we were charged for them.
Half way through our courses we were told the kitchen was closing soon and we had to decide there and then if we wanted a dessert. It was clear the staff wanted to go home from the minute we sat down. The table we were given was squashed next to a pillar,
I paid £330 of my own hard earned money,
I was terribly upset and still am about this whole experience and feel like I've wasted my well earned money on a terrible experience, which should have been an experience of a lifetime as it was our engagement dinner.
An amazing dining experience in London, possibly the best Nobu for service, food, ambience, location, only competing with Nobu Malibu on the location front.
The bar experience is wonderful, and regulars are recognized with warm smiles and greetings. Highly recommended for special occasions
The food is delicious, wine-the same, one should try black cod miso, it's something!
Very small tables standing so close too each other that one can only share the other one's company, little privacy
The first bill that was brought turned out to be a 100 pounds higher than it should have been. The next was ok, though practically no excuses, sorry, that's it. Be attentive!
Absolutely amazing 👌🏾👌🏾 Love the almond ice cream 😍👌🏾 So creative
Service is rushed.
Spent £300 on a tasting menu, without wine experts to hand to assist.
Service was rushed, with courses being delivered to our table without having finished the previous one.
There was no wine expertise in house.
Staff rude and inattentive.
Great! Food as usual just perfect.
Another fantastic evening at Nobu. The food was superb and the service first rate. Really cannot fault it. We will be back
It was our first time at Nobu for my husband's birthday. We liked it a lot. The food was so delicious, service was very good, atmosphere was relaxed. Price wise it was expensive and portions were small.
Was looking forward to the most amazing taste sensations and frankly was left disappointed. The money you pay for what you get is ridiculous. As much as we ordered I left hungry and £200 lighter..
Seating is too crammed and found myself very self conscious about the conversation my date and me were having.
Will try again soon...
Very Good black cod miso but the restaurantes service is like McDonalds. You must be Cast and not enjoy the food. Our meal arrived before than drinks
Fantastic meal... our first visit and we will be back. Everything about the evening was superb. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, the food was incredible and the wine hit the spot.
Great food in a fantastic setting with impeccable service. Went for a special occasion and it did not disappoint
The staff were polite, though that did not always remembered what they had been asked for. The decor is uninspiring and bland. But the food? Superb! I was tired when I arrived and when I left... I felt like I was floating on air! The chefs deserve all the credit for their healthy delicious food. I will definitely be using Nobu when I come to London again. In fact, it will probably be the first place I think of to eat.
Enjoyed it - business meal but could be good for a date. We only had cold sushi but would go back again to try other dishes! I thought it was pretty reasonable for prices and good selection. Lovely staff - not pushy but professional and knowledgeable on dishes when asked.
horrible ambience. looks like a hospital cafeteria and the noise level is just unbearable
Wonderful food and service. Very expensive. A lovely treat for special occasion.
excellent food and service... good atmosphere too. Would definitly recommend the taster menu for best value as a la carte would add up to be expensive for the 7 courses we had
We selected the chefs menu at 150 gbp and 5 courses. We twice had to ask them to slow down. It was clear they wanted to turn the table. The next course would come while we were still eating the previous course! We also had 5 to 10 Different waiters. It was run like a factory and not what one would expect for the price. Good however was good.
Have been to several Nobus round the world and this is still the best - Melbourne runs it a close second though!
Unfortunately all four of us were very sick after the lunch. We think it was the raw lobster in the lobster salad. We called to advise the manager and he was very uninterested. Very poor customer care as we did go frequently, but won't be returning after this experience.
Great location and always fabulous food. The ambiance suffers a bit from boisterous tourists, but it's likely the best sushi in London.
absolutely brilliant as soon as you enter the restaurant friendly door man and maitre'd get you settled in. I really enjoyed the food the staff where brilliant very friendly and professional they knew there food and where great in helping with what to eat and drink, I enjoyed the wagyu steak and black cod, by far the most amazing food i have tasted and i love my food and have tried many cuisines it was a bit expensive but you pay for what you get brilliant authentic cuisine and amazing service i was most definitely full when i left not like a lot of these fine dining restaurant where you leave hungry even after you have paid a lot of money to dine.
Nice buzz but food not as good as the price suggest.
Food was great, however, after having Tuna and Salmon sushi I felt sick same night
Amazing food options. Very knowledgeable servers who provide great service!
The food average , Zuma and other similar restaurants by far better ..
Service although very good they changed plates 3-4 times, they were getting one plate at a time .. so at the end not very good ...
Nice environment ..
Very expensive for what you get .. there are many more with better food and better value for money ...
Outstanding meal. Expected the food to be first rate but the atmosphere was really buzzy at 7.30pm on a Saturday night. 3 of us had the classic tasting menu and one the modern. For me, and I've had a few, the best Japanese I've ever had, a view echoed by at least 3 others at the table of 6. Fantastic.
We had a Great experience at Nobu. Although it was Valentines Day and the restaurant was full, the service and the food were perfect.
We were with our kids and they arranged a Nice meal for them. It is not a cheap place, but it worths the price!
The service was good and the food was tasty! The only downside was the portions were a bit small. However I still had a great time.
Of the bes
Took my girlfriend here for a birthday surprise on Friday evening. Booked early 6:30-7ish, the restaurant was very welcoming and you knew the service would be great as all staff were beaming and do a ritualistic greeting which is very cheerful.
I asked for a table with nice view and we were sat in front of a window overlooking the lights outside which was perfect.
Service was impeccable, our waiter was enthusiastic, knew his food and wine, was more than happy to answer all of our questions and made fantastic recommendations. Massive thank you to him!
The food, wow. Sublime with a touch of awesome. When each dish comes out and you look across the table to the person who is about to share this moment with you in pure elated apprehension. Presentation was flawless, the food was fresh and after each bite we guiltily looked at each other mouth full still and could barely contain the happiness!
Our Meal consisted of;
Edamame beans salted - fresh and sweet, great appetiser
California rolls - soft shell crab and avocado, amazing sushi morsels
Seared Scallop Sashimi - fresh, the sauce was light and flavoursome
Rock Shrimp Tampura - with 3 sauces...get all 3. amazing. you'll have to try to understand. Jalepeno and wasabi creamy, buffalo and siracha mayo, ponzu.
Black Cod on Butter lettuce - great flavours, the little crispy strips on the cod are incredible, like sweet edible melt in the mouth cod bones.
Wagyu Tobonyaki - meat was so good, expected nothing less! Served on a hot plate with the most delicious mushrooms 3 style.
Broccoli w/ 2 sauce - the hot sesame soy sauce was good, but the peanut satay was out of this World! best peanut sauce I've ever tasted, I've tasted a few.
Wine - Chateau Bordeaux 2014. Very flavorsome, went with the meal perfectly.
Dessert - Soft fluffy dough balls filled with melted chocolate w/ pistachio and almond ice cream garnished with a Birthday message with candle.
Suffice to say I am thrilled with the whole experience. I'll be back.
Service can be better and prices can be decreased a bit
