Pioneered and created by Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, the iconic Nobu menu is influenced by his years of studying Japanese cuisine in Tokyo and his extensive travels.
The diverse celebration of flavours formed Nobu’s trademark ‘Nobu Style’, which is intrinsic to all Nobu menus worldwide. As well as the classics, Nobu Shoreditch serves unique plates inspired by the creativity and vibrancy of the local area
Designed with the iconic Nobu aesthetics at its heart, the restaurant space radiates a dynamic yet classic energy synonymous with the Nobu brand. Throughout the restaurant there is a palette of rich oak timber, cut into varied grain patterns (solid, veneer and crown).

What Insiders Are Saying
London’s third Nobu, hidden away in the basement of their self-named hotel in Shoreditch. The space is impressive and the menu is predictively pricey.
Really amazing food. It's pricey, but the cooking is of a really high standard and the food full of flavour. Best for a special night out. The ambience was a little lacking but I think it's more about the food and who you're with.
Perfect birthday dinner. The best Nobu in London
Cannot fault the experience. The food was exquisite as it was when I had visited Nobu Piccadilly previously. The dining room was elegant yet relaxed and the service was excellent.
The food was excellent and the staff amazing.
The menu price for the brunch has increases from £45 to £53. When asked why the website was wrong, no apology or attemt to explain. A shrug was offered. This is an increase of almost 20%. The I dont care attitude is consistant in the service offered.
The hot main courses arrived before we have seated with the cold starters (that is a buffet service). Again no attempt to be helpful when raised.
The food is good, but the service and care is like a Wednesday night shift at a suburban Nandos.
Great food, great ambience overall lovely restaurant
Third time here for brunch and price has seemed to have increased while the buffet was still the same.
Service was exceptional; welcoming and prompt waitering.
Me and my 2 girls had the nicest evening. Our waitress Sarah was so helpful and lovely she tried her best for a few of our special request. The ambience and overall look and feel of the restaurant is stunning. A good spot for a date or out with the girls! We was surprised at the price as we had a bottle of wine and 2 courses each for £77 such good value for money! X
fantastic foo. could be quieter but not disruptively noisy for a table of two. service was attentive and prompt.
Nice environment and food was delicious. Staff was so friendly and Special thanks to Vincent for an outstanding customer service. The guy is fantastic and really knows what he’s doing.
Throughly enjoyed everything, great service, food and drinks and a lovely wedding anniversary platter, highly recommend it
This was my second visit and the service on this occasion was much much better and how it should be. So I will put my first experience on the 13/02/19 down to being a busy night with early valentines celebrations going on which resulted in a poor dinning experience.
Celebrated my daughter’s 21st Birthday. It was amazing. Will definitely make it my new hot spot!!!!!
Enjoyable time at Nobu Shoreditch. Service was excellent, the food came at really different times which made that annoying for my partner and I.
Food price is expensive as expected, and overall, this was a good experience for the both of us.
Food was good. Service was a little bit slow. Once the shift changed the experience was great. Overall great as usual.
Im not sure whether we were unlucky, but our table was near to the kitchen, and we were bombarded with clouds of garlic and spiced based fumes for the duration of the meal, to the point that the ambient smells took over from the taste of the food.
Great to experience the kitchen and see what is going on, but the overtly strong scent really did become overpowering - not sure if the extractor was working correctly but I wouldnt want to visit again, and sit anywhere near.
Clothes from the night, still bore the smell the next day.
As delicious and reliable as ever and indistinguishable from the Metropolitan where we usually go.
Don’t go there if your worried about spending money!! But it’s the bollox
Very pleasant brunch and atmosphere. Dessert choice was a little below par and the main course was small portion wise, however the unlimited sushi bar was excellent.
Nice ambience and attentive staff.
We would have preferred a drinks package which included champagne as the unlimited option was limited to Prosecco.
Great ambiance, wonderful food and fab music. Would recommend the tasting menu and the Japanese Passionfruit Margarita. The service is fast, but not rushed. Will definitely be back
It’s a shame that they have seating slots of 2 hours. Noise can be really bad if you are sat close to the bar.
The restaurant was in my view clearly over capacity for Valentine’s day which meant the staff were too busy to give any table much attention. We had to wait nearly 25 minutes for our cocktails to be delivered and the table was not cleared away properly after our main course / before dessert. We also both felt the beef tenderloin was very over-seasoned.
Amazing service amazing atmosphere! Will be visiting here more often
Excellent food, location and atmosphere.
Food is overpriced and nothing special at all, portion size is small, the mains are like starters. Service wasn’t great either. Left feeling ripped off and hungry. Wouldn’t recommend.
Their desire to turn tables as quickly as posssible, despite reservations, ruined the evening.
The food was fantastic and the staff were all incredibly attentive even though it was packed!
The setting and the food was excellent, the issues we had on the night ( 13/02/19 ) was purely done to the service. Our order was completely messed up and it transpired that it wasn’t just our table. Although they apologised and deducted the main meal from our bill, it just spoilt what should have been a nice dining experience. So hence my low reviews.
A fantastic restaurant. Great food, special ambiance and a nice location.
Amazing except the sound level way to high for a restaurant inspired by japan . You will expect a quiet place not music as a club
The brunch was not being replenished at the speed people were exhausting it. Every trip to the buffet there was 2-3 items missing
Superb Bottomless Sunday Brunch, excellent service, great food & superb drinks, we were celebrating our wedding anniversary & we were both very impressed with Nobu at Shoreditch. We would definitely return one day in the future to celebrate another special occasion.
Ridiculously overpriced. Tiny portions. Food comes out too quickly. Ordered the £85 7 course taster menu, the first course was out before the wine approximately 2 mins after ordering. Obviously it's cold and sashimi so hardly takes and skill to plate but too quick. Left hungry after a £333 bill. Didn't even get a bowl of rice with that. Absolute robbery. How these places stay in business and actually go from strength to strength more than amazes me.
For years I've always wanted to visit a Nobu restaurant, and now I've been, I will not go again.
If you are going to pay 20% service charge, I expect good service. From the moment we arrived, we get the opposite. Arrogant staff and then slow table service. Having to ask twice for a premium bottle of wine to be delivered to the table is not good enough.
Food was fair. I left unsatisfied.
Excellent and creative food with a nice atmosphere. A bit quieter than the other locations.
Been to 17 Nobu’s in 12 countries -!: I have to say Shoreditch was most disappointing with reduced menu oversized room and average service !
Food was great. Service not great. Waiter further stole 4% of the bill by setting to DKK instrad of GBP (was never asked, not did I have the chance to choice).
Food was great but service was shocking. We had the taster menu but had no idea what each dish was as it was so loud we could hear the waiter. We also had to wait an stupidly long time for food, at one point we clocked up almost 40 mins between course.
Also sure we missed out on a couple of courses because they had forgotten.
