Pioneered and created by Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, the iconic Nobu menu is influenced by his years of studying Japanese cuisine in Tokyo and his extensive travels.
The diverse celebration of flavours formed Nobu’s trademark ‘Nobu Style’, which is intrinsic to all Nobu menus worldwide. As well as the classics, Nobu Shoreditch serves unique plates inspired by the creativity and vibrancy of the local area
Designed with the iconic Nobu aesthetics at its heart, the restaurant space radiates a dynamic yet classic energy synonymous with the Nobu brand. Throughout the restaurant there is a palette of rich oak timber, cut into varied grain patterns (solid, veneer and crown).

The restaurant was perfect with great ambience. The staff were very helpful and food was amazing. Definitely will return
We actually asked to sit st the bar rather than at a table. Really lovely food. It was nice chatting to the chefs. Lovely venue too
My reservation was at 930pm and we were there on time. The host told me that the table was not ready and asked us to take drinks at the bar which we have waited another 30 minutes. Eventually they have charged us the drinks we had at the bar with no apologies.
Also my two favorite food in Nobu is yellowtail sashimi and the miso cod. Sashimi was somehow tasteless thais time and miso cod was over cooked!
What a poor experience with Nobu Shoreditch Don’t plan to come back again.
Our first visit in Nobu Shoreditch and it worths every penny :-)
Music a little loud.
No unagi which was disappointing.
No matcha waffle and chicken.
Sashimi were delightful.
Service was very good.
I chose Nobu for my 20th birthday celebration because I thought a high class restaurant like this one would be great for celebration. This was true, the food was amazing as well as the waitress, who explained the menu very well. However, I was disappointed that the cause of the dinner was not properly acknowledged. Even though we mentioned it on the reservation as well as my friend, who mentioned it to staff numerous times, we didn't get anything. This would have been completely fine, had it not been for the approximately 5 tables around us getting a special "Happy Birthday" plate with candles and everything. We have asked them if they booked this in advance and they all denied and said the solely mentioned it on their reservation (same as us). We left a bit disappointed, but filled with delicious food. I would recommend going there for either a normal lunch/dinner or if for celebration, actively request a special little something to be made for you or your friend, because otherwise, it won't be done.
Absolutely fantastic food and service. Ordered a starter off menu and it was perfect.
We went for their weekend buffet brunch and WHOA. We have never experienced something so high quality & decadent. A buffet of Nobu classics, freshly prepared--vegan/vegetarian options included. The bar was filled with thick cut sashimi, deluxe sushi rolls, a selection of nigiri, mini-Chirashi and crispy rice with assorted toppings. A second spread on the bar served salads and desserts. We ate so much we didn't eat for the rest of the day--but we couldn't have been happier.
HIGHLY recommend for Londoners or visitors.
Shockingly bad service for Nobu! Seated in a bad busy corner where the whole staff organizes and keys in orders.
The service was very uncoordinated. The food was good but the way it came was too irregular and disruptive. There was a 15 delay between 2 peoples main courses. The service was very disinterested and disengaged. For that price range you can expect and get far better. It is far too overpriced for the overall quality of the experience.
Black cod is the best
This was out first visit to Nobu Shoreditch. We have been to Nobu Berkeley Street and Park Lane many times so wanted to try this one out. The food was, as always, very good. Service excellent. It was very quiet though and I am not sure if this was because is was a Sunday night or it is always a little quite.
The Shoreditch "Cool Factor" is definitely there and my daughter has a fabulous birthday - that's all that matters to me.
Would recommend, but maybe go in a large group if you want to have more of a party atmosphere.
The staff are super polite and courteous. The drinks and cocktails are amazing. Nonetheless the food is not align with the rest of the Nobu’s I’ve been to. I got the black cod miso which is my all time favourite yet it lacked flavour. The sushi was not wow as it usually is.
very confusing menu. Over priced in my opinion. Loud music and a pretty dead atmosphere.
The food tasted soo bad, how are they charging this price for these flavours?
My bf was nearly sick , I would not recommend this place!
save your money and go somewhere cheaper and flavoursome .
An overall great experience and lovely introduction of Nobu to our teenage daughter
2nd time at Nobu and it's still great. The taster menu really gives you a wide variety and the miso black cod alone is worth coming back for, but what's with the one meat dish? It really doesn't stand up to the same quality as the rest of the menu.
Service was very good as you expect but cocktails ordered were forgotten about which was a little bit of a let down.
All in all, I'll come back - if only for the black cod.
Loved it! Amazing food and perfect for a special occasion.
I love Nobu, one of my favorite sushi places. And the weekend brunch is amazing value for money, making Nobu even better. Who knew that was even possible?
The food is indeed very good. Price is high
We went on a day that was very quiet. Unfortunately this meant we were inundated with waiters looking for something to do. At one point one even removed my plate whilst I was still eating.
The music I'm afraid was way too loud for a relaxed lunch.
Very average overall! The restaurant is designed beautifully however it was extremely noisy from the bar area and the staff wasn't great. Definitely not going back!
Dined on my own at the sushi counter. Head-chef was extremely friendly, assertive and professional - enhanced the whole experience. Food tasted great, good fresh produce and served rapidly. Kudos for that! However, even though I know Nobu restaurants are very renowned and prestigious establishments, and one pays in consequence, I simply can’t put my head around how expensive my bill was. To be fair, yes i had maybe a bit more than average with a few luxury ingredients so I was expecting it (and I’m lucky enough to be able to afford it now and then) but still... £240, alone, on a Thursday evening...ouch
We had pretty high expectations for the food and we were intrigued by the menu. The food was exciting to eat, but in London you get as exciting and much cheaper food in pop ups. We left feeling slightly underwhelmed.
Trashy crowd, tampura was greasy and served on wet old lettuce, seared tuna was drowning in soy sauce.
Sushi rolls and nigiri were OK... not more than your regular delivery.
Stayed at the hotel for two nights for my wife’s birthday. Great experience! Started with some great cocktails at the bar and then sat at the sushi bar where we essentially had our own chef making whatever we wanted. Very attentive service and food was excellent as you’d expect.
Will be coming back to stay and eat again!
The food at Nobu is, as expected, exquisite, but there is no 'vibe' and the layout and decor for lunch feels more like a canteen or Wagamamas than a top-end restaurant. A little disappointing.
The black cod was not good and tasted off but the service was very good and they exchanged my main with no complaints
Food was good quality as you'd expect from Nobu and all freshly made but the buffet was unimaginative and frankly meagre. A poor second choice to the a la carte which is what to go for if you're already expecting to spend more than a decent amount of money here. The salad selection was poor and as a result looked wilted due to little take-up. Good choice of main courses (1 per diner). Black cod, particularly good but don't expect any accompaniments. Desert selection was OK. Again, unimaginative but you don't go to Nobu for the deserts!
Not worth the value. Too expensive for what it takes. Too noisy witht he DJ
Food, as always, first class but such a shame that the staff that welcome you to the restaurant and one or two members of the bar staff, seem to think that they are mini celebrities because they work at Nobu! I love the restaurant and the cuisine but find it extremely irritating and somewhat boring that certain staff that work at fashionable establishments, not just Nobu, seem to think they have the right to look down on people as if they are the founders or owners of the establishment!! A cheerful smile and general helpfulness is ultimately what you’re supposed to do! We get it, you work at Nobu, get over yourself!
The Shashimi salad is absolutely delightful. The vegetable tempura needs extra flavour though!
There was a bone in the tartare but the service was as impeccable. The manager took care of the situation brilliantly.
Amazing food, great service and beautiful place. Lovely patio. Great drinks. The only downside was that the toilets were a bit dirty, as in lots of blocked toilets...
Amazing food, service and environment. Lovely staff and an amazing selection of items available. Only thing that I felt could have been improved was the Avocado on prawn toast - I had hoped it would be more than Avocado on Toast with prawns in but still tasty enough.
The Sushi and desert bar selection was wonderful, so fresh and ever replenishing - not a single thing I would change!
Thank you for a lovely brunch :)
Food was good; however the waitress ignored us because we were a smaller party and she prioritized her bigger parties over us. It was to the point where I had to ask for a dessert menu. And then it took 35 minutes to actually get the dessert. We were also seated next to two six person parties, a table of 10 and a table of 18. All with the same waitress. Manager was nice when I spoke to him but it puts a bad taste in your mouth to receive poor service at such a nice place.
Amazing food, very attentive staff and lovely ambience. Great value for money.
Nice but typical London. Slightly mass produced feel.
It wasn't the wow restaurant I was expecting. The service was unattentive and lacking in personality , except one member of staff . The tables were too close together not imitate and I was expecting. The quality of the food was first class , but wines were over-priced . I've certainly enjoyed better establishments in terms of ambience, service and choice .
Awesome food, service and vibe. We will be back and the bar after is excellent
