Delicious Italian cuisine cooked well. Good service and lovely atmosphere and decor. Fun setting by the canal and Mailbox. Thoroughly recommend. Enjoyed the cocktails and beer. We sat outside in the rain but we were dry and warm under shelter and heat lamp. We’d be back! Thanks, Noel’s Bar.
Lovely place, good service slightly limited menu but food was delicious. Will go again once the inside is open as it looked lovely inside.
Great service. Nice drinks menu. Looked after very well. Heaters provided for outdoor dinning. Will be going again.
Lovely staff, amazing food & drinks. Would definitely come back here again at some point! :)
Our experience for lunch was very good. It was very windy on that day though, but we coped well. Good service from all the staff. Looking forward to our next visit 😊
Great choice of cocktails, good food and very friendly staff - particularly Callum!
Lovely staff and tasty food, we’ll be back some point in the future. Really nice gesture of complimentary Prosecco for our anniversary as well - thank you for a really nice celebratory lunch!
Fantastic find. Great food and service can’t wait to go bk we definitely recommend
Great experience good food. Good portions.........
Still too cold to air outside.
the staff made us feel very welcome and where amazingly friendly - we had an amazing time!
The restaurant was beautiful even being outdoors with current government guidelines. The food was delicious, drinks lovely & the service was outstanding. Thank you! Will be returning
Good quality food, friendly customer service. We’ve enjoyed the experience
My first meal out since lockdown and oh my god it was a delight !! Food was stunning and the cocktails were 10/10 ! Will definitely be back !
Very nice food, although the service was a bit slow, siting 20 odd minutes for our empty plates to be taken away and waiting to pay the bill despite the waiter walking by 4/5 times. Could have been an off night so will give it another chance.
We were sitting outside due to Covid restrictions and were fairly lucky with the weather although it was a little windy. But we were provided with blankets and were also moved to a warmer table when one became available. Thank you!
Sunday dinner lovely food & nice cocktails - shame it goes cold so quick sitting outside but I’m sure inside it would be lovely
Food was amazing!!
Food was great - especially the steak and pork chop! Coacktails were tasty and well made, recommend the old fashion. Staff were really friendly - offered blankets to keep us warm
Good foot good service polite staff wouldn’t recommend to anyone to try
Was a little apprehensive before attending as I’d read some mixed reviews on OpenTable, but it turned out to be a really good choice. Everyone in my group of 6 enjoyed their food and overall, it was a great dining experience. Plates were well presented and food was well-cooked. Really friendly service and the staff were really attentive, offering blankets when the sun disappeared and the rain started. No complaints and would definitely dine at Noel’s Bar again.
Staff were amazing and accommodating. Food was delicious, and service was fast.
Couldn’t have faulted them at all!
Drinks are great, however, food choice could be much better.
Lovely food and great service in a really interesting location. Having to dine outdoors because of Covid regulations made it not quite the experience it could have been but we shall come again.
It was a lovely place, however we was sat down a while before anyone came over to us. Also communication wasn’t great with the staff. Food was amazing
Fabulous evening, food and service was great! Will definitely be back!
They tried.. service was a bit slow seafood a bit gritty good effort.. I’ll try again at some point
It was my wife’s birthday and we all took her out to celebrate which was a treat in itself after all those lockdown birthday’s we’ve been having.
It was a superb evening and everything about it from the welcome to the food & service was exceptional.
It was our first visit to Noel’s and it certainly won’t be our last.
It was lovely and I would highly recommend this restaurant and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
Excellent excellent excellent! Italian food in Birmingham at its best — fresh seafood, traditional pasta dishes. An oldie but a goodie — top marks on the food. Excellent social distancing measures in place while maintaining the ambiance and atmosphere!
P.s. thank you for my Birthday platter - such a thoughtful touch.
Beautiful evening with the other half. Food was super and fresh followed by some lovely drinks. Service was second to non - we were made very welcome and they looked after us very well. Excellent atmosphere. I have already rebooked :)
P.s. You really can taste the difference in the dishes at Noels Restaurant so definitely worth every penny if you actually know your food ;)
Great location, tastey food and excellent service as always, however it was way too cold and a bit uncomfortable dining outside due to Covid restrictions
Keep us for so long and forget to bring our side dishes for us. Also, bring the wrong folks and spoons when serving dessert. They don't remember which steak is rare or medium-rare when they serve the food. Very disappointed :(
This was the first place we all visited as a family since lockdown was lifted for my husband and mine wedding anniversary. We all like fine dining and had missed this experience over the last year. We were looking forward to the A La Carte menu and had already chosen our food prior to arriving. Upon arrival, it was very windy and half of the outside space was not in the sunlight, making it quite cold. The team were excellent in moving our table into the sunlight for us. We were given paper menu’s however as it was so windy, we were constantly struggling with holding the sheet of A4 paper down and stopping it from blowing away. We the noticed the menu was the Brunch menu and none of the items we had pre-selected were on it. Very disappointed. We asked if the A La Carte menu was available and were informed that it was only available from 4PM. This is not made clear on the website to my knowledge. However we made our selections and awaited our meals. The drinks arrived at the same time as the starters. Three of us had soup and two of us had Calamari and four of us had hot coffee and tea. It would have been better if both the drinks and starters had been spaced apart to allow us to complete the drinks before the starters arrived as we were unable to finish our drinks prior to eating our starters and our drinks went cold. Three of us ordered the roast beef and Yorkshire pudding meal, ant the other two had the pork chop and veggie risotto. One of our diners did not receive his green beans but was given broccoli instead. The food was lukewarm upon arrival at the table and the beef was very thin and stringy . However the mashed potato was very creamy and had no lumps in it, just how I like it. We ordered coffees and tea for after the meal, two of the coffees with rum. Three coffee’s with rum arrived and as the coffee was for one of our drivers we sent it back and received the correct coffee. Overall the meal was an expensive experience for average food.
Coming into the restaurant was obviously not possible due to COVID. My partner had booked the restaurant to celebrate my birthday and the best part of the night was the dessert that was brought to me which was nice. When we entered there was already customers seated and we werent served for a long time. We then requested for a heated area and told that there was none available even though seats were available - these seats were given to other customers who requested for these seats. We were given used blankets instead that had sauce/red wine on it that had now ruined my favourite coat. The table next to us had been given the wrong order and since they had been wrongly served the seafood linguini it was taken inside and given to me - it was extremely cold - I understand it was outside but it was very obvious that it was due to the order having been out for so long with the other table. The table next to us also commented on this. Once we finished the meal and had seen numerous other customers being given warmer seats we were too cold to have any more drinks and wanted to go home. We asked for the bill and were charged £10 for customer service which we felt forced to pay due to the birthday panna cotta that arrived as soon as we tried to call the staff about the bill. It was the only time I had really been given attention. I do wonder if we would have got better service if we had been the same race as the rest of the customers. We had been waiting to go to this restaurant for a couple of years due to sentimental value but were deeply let down.
Wine glasses and food was flying off tables due to the wind, we asked for more table clips so the table cloth wouldn’t fly around as much and the server said they didn’t have any. We had to ask multiple times for menus, plates. Not sharp service for the price you pay for food.
Unfortunately, had a really poor expert at noels. Food was really bland, cocktails tasted strange & it didn’t match up to the cost of it. 2x cocktails, 2x starters And a side of chips came to £75. Really which the quality and taste, reflected the price.
Really enjoyed our food last week when we had a mid afternoon lunch and plenty of drinks. Fish was excellent, side orders beautifully tasty and a good size. Unfortunately, service was mixed (ranging from cheerful and friendly to quite brusque and dismissive - depending on the different servers) the size of the coffee servings were disappointing. We would return though.
All staff went above and beyond ! They were busy but gave us there full attention 😊
Very poor service. Very disappointed. The customer service was ridiculous, it took them 25 minutes to provide us with a seat regardless of the booking. Then additional 30 minutes for someone to take our order. We were provided with food that we didn’t order and even then they refused to change it. staff was very inexperienced. Did not understand English, making it very difficult to communicate. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME AND TRY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
As always excellent food, drinks and atmosphere
