La experiencia fue agradable pero esperaba fuera mucho mejor. Esperaba más de la comida. A nuestro parecer lo mejor fue el primer tiempo un cono con huachinango, muy rico. Nos dieron unas costillas de cordero que estaban duras, no nos encantaron. Por la relación precio, experiencia y calidad no creo regresar.
Great food and service, hidden but the best part is you are literally on the kitchen and part of the action. Great wine pairings definitely add this into your meal it is very much so worth it.
Fuimos para festejar nuestro aniversario. Había pedido algún detalle especial en el transcurso de la cena, me dijeron que si, pero después no hubo nada.
Llegamos puntuales, pero la cena empezó después, los que llegan 20:15, cenan a la misma hora que los que llegan a las 21, por así decirlo. El total de tiempo de la cena fue de poco más de 3 horas aproximadamente.
Los pasos estuvieron bien. La comida es muy rica, hamachi, pulpo, camarones, pollo, flor de calabaza, pato, y dos postres: un waffle reversionado y pelón con crema, también con una vuelta de rosca. Debo decir que la comida es rica, pero para mi gusto y a lo que estamos acostumbrados a cenar en ocasiones especiales, no fue nada especial.
La atención es muy buena, todos atentos a explicar ante alguna consulta, la chica que te sirve, los chef’s, el sommelier.
La pasamos bien.
Es una experiencia diferente, para hacerla una vez.
No repetiría, salvo que experimenten un poco más con el menú.

Drooling just thinking about our experience at Nom. I mean WOWOWOW. Take all of my money. Take it all and just give us more food. It was SO worth every peso. The chief, sous chef, and somm were incredible. The food was magical, made right in front of you in a cozy kitchen space. Artfully presentes and the wines match wonderfully. Best culinary experience of our lives as well as best meal. Thank you!!!

The host / sommelier Sebastian was phenomenal. Dinner at Nom is like a fun dinner party among good friends. We were surprised and thrilled. Food is adventurous and diverse. Wine pairings were generous and excellent. Great place for adventurous food lovers who want a memorable experience.
Es una buena experiencia, los platillos son ricos, aunque no espectaculares. Servir pulpo, carnitas de atún en un menú de degustación de ese precio como que no cuadra, esperábamos ingredientes más elaborados o mas gourmet.
Pasó el dueño con todo y mandil como si fuera chef (ignoro si lo es) y en una barra con 10 personas no dijo ni buenas noches. Se sentó en una orilla de la barra a enfiestarse con un par de amigos que llegaron. Le quitó ambiente a la cena.
El sommelier muy amable al igual que los 2 chefs, explicando cada platillo.
En fin, he ido a otras barras y la experiencia fue más sorprendente.

Absolutely fabulous. A truly unique experience and one that you can't miss
To be fair we did not even make it through the appetizer and left. We knew we had a bad feeling when arriving the front door was broken and they had to force it open to let us in. There was heavy techno music playing which really threw the mood off. Once seated the bartender/chef who was also our server and DJ, etc shared the menu. The menu was on his notepad with other things jotted on it. No printed menu. We didn’t receive a copy just a verbal pointlist of what was to be served. It wasn’t descriptive just fish, Ceviche, ny steak, and dessert. We knew we couldn’t stay.
Then the bread came out and it was cold, stale and rock hard. The “special” garlic butter was almost inedible. It was almost pure garlic.
We couldn’t stay any longer. The music alone made us lose our appetite.
The place was really good! Totally recommended. Good quality and original plates. Also the environment was really interesting, all bar seats and cosy.
The only suggestion I’d have is that they should have prices in the website. It ended up being more expensive than we though, especially for the wine pairing(1300$ the menu and 1300$ the wine pairing). Still, recommendable!

Wow! This was worth a trip to Mexico City even if was the only place we went. What a special treat. The staff was amazing, kind and made this a one of a kind dinner. Casual yet playful. If you love food and watching the preparation and appreciate cooking this is the place to go. One the finest meals I have experienced in my life.

Thoroughly overpriced, and the majority of the “tiempos” (courses) were not tasty or poorly executed. We were particularly shocked at how utterly mediocre, bad even, the dessert was - a piece of toast with chocolate whipped cream. The first course was tasteless; the penultimate course was missing a major expensive ingredient (truffle) and instead of choosing something else to serve, we were served and charged as if the dish were complete. The wine pairings were very hit and miss as well. Restaurant was extremely warm and not particularly comfortable to sit in for 3.5 hours. I will say, though, that the roasted duck course was truly outstanding, and the huachinango tostada was wonderful also. Overall, totally not worth the $$. If the duck dish were available a la carte, I’d go back in a flash; but otherwise, will not be back.
The first 5 courses were spectacular. The last 3 were gimmicky, but delicious. For example, putting black truffle on things just to make them fancy.
The wines were great and complimented each course vey well. What turned me off was that my wife and I didn't want to drink too much, so decided to share one wine pairing. When we said this to the chef, he treated us like we were being cheap, and that we were insulting his restaurant. It wasn't a cost thing, we just didn't want so much wine.
The chef seemed very arrogant, as if he was trying to sleep with everyone in the room. Acting like he was the coolest and sexiest guy in the world because he makes nice food. It was very offputting. However, the kitchen helpers were wonderful, and were great about explaining the dishes to us.
