The lunch time menu has changed and in our opinion is quite limited. We did find some dishes to order but they were very average and both my wife and daughter left some of theirs even though the portions were not large. Service was fine and the staff are all friendly but overall it was expensive and not good value.
We used to like Nonna's at lunch time/evening but based on this last visit we will be booking elsewhere and could not recommend.
We had a lovely evening apart from they had run out off a few things on the menu, and one off our party asked for a folk her food was getting cold , and the waitress was very rude she said (can’t you see I have my arms full!!) , we complained to the restaurant only an apology nothing else was offered, it put a real damper on a lovey evening which was a birthday and we spent money on a taxi to get there and home and spent a lot on drinks ect !!
Excellent as always. I took my parents for breakfast on Saturday and I think it will quickly become one of their firm favourites as well.
This is always a good option if you like good food, good customer service, and a relaxed/comfortable atmosphere.
We just love it!!!!!
A wide variety of slightly different choices. We started with the sharing board which was probably wise to leave room for two more courses. The pizzas were excellent and very tasty. The pasta dishes were filling and flavoursome.
We all managed pudding where some of us again enjoyed the sharing option , the pear and ginger cheesecake was voted the favourite though
Great food and great service, seasonal food and great cocktails.
Having dined here on several occasions with guests I have always found the food to be a nice mix of Mediterranean style food and as yet has not dissapointed with a relaxing informal ambience.
Went there for daughter’s birthday. Lovely food, very friendly staff. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Would definitely go back there.
The staff were very nice and the food was lovely. 3 of the guests were vegan, and the menu they put together was great.
I thought the food was nice and the service was very good. The restuarant is local to me (I can walk to it) so it's very convenient. There were 2 children with us and the staff were very good with them. It was also good that there was a children's menu.
My one criticism would be that the music was a bit too loud and the choice of music wasn't very relaxing. The people at the table next to us were loud - I think just because they were trying to speak above the music. I was finding it hard to have a proper conversation with the adults (and the children!).
Love this place. Amazing breakfasts.
Definitely worth a visit !
Love Nonna’s! Always really good food! Great place
Beautiful restaurant , amazing decor and lovely food
What a wonderful evening we had at Nonnas. Lovely setting, beautiful food and a lovely singer
I have been before with my daughter, liked it very much, I had the Wild Boar Ravioli.
Booked for my wife and I in the restaurant, however we decided to eat in the Bistro, nice atmosphere, we were served by a nice young lady.
Food and wine all very good, will definitely visit again, may try on an evening to see how this compares to the lunch vibe.
Lovely attentive staff, gorgeous food. 4th visit and will definitely come again
The most amazing Italian food I have had the pleasure of tasting in a long time. I will certainly be returning and spreading the good word. I highly recommend the wild bore ravioli and the Havana special cocktail. Out of this world!
loved our first visit at nonna's :) one little thing that could improve it slightly is to have more dishes on the menu, have recommended to friends x
Very disappointed. My girlfriend had a hair on the food and we was over charged. Worst date experience of my life and she broke up with me. Thank you nonna’s
We had a lovely evening, the place is cosy with great food and attentive but not in your face service. Just perfect
We decided to visit Nonna's for my Daughter's birthday (her choice). We were shown to a table near the toilets, despite the main restaurant being mainly empty, but I believe it's because we had a child with us.
My daughter was not provided with a kids menu, we were told kids meals were half the price of the adults, but there wasn't much option for her. However, during dessert we were provided with a kids menu! Which would have been ideal if she had the choice of those meals for her main.
My husband queried a drink and we were told 'I don't know what it is', no offer to go and check.
The service was poor and we were made to feel very unwelcome and as though they were doing us a favour by letting us eat there. Food was not memorable and overpriced. The waitresses stood by us gossiping for the majority of our meal, which added to the uncomfortable, unpleasantness of our evening.
I had high hopes for this place, but sadly we wouldn't return.
I've never felt the need to add a bad review ever before, but it absolutely reunited my daughters birthday for us.
We have been here a few times and every time we have had the most amazing food the staff are really friendly the restaurant is beautifully decorated the service is wonderful I think this has to be one of a favourite restaurants We highly recommend this restaurant .
First time visit and will certainly be back for more!
What was most memorable was the freshness of food and flavours throughout. We had pasta and pizza, which normally can be quite bland but I genuinely didn’t want the meal to end!
Service was attentive but not over the top. Amazing food quality and good price.
Excellent food and surroundings. Ideal for all occasions.
Greasy food, brown lumpy avocado and tinned sardines. Food was bad and poor value.
first time we have been for about 4 years never found it to be particularly good, on the night what a transformation, a lovely welcome, very attentive staff, our waiter was excellent knowledgable, funny, very helpful all together. The food was very nice served hot and very tasty and not to long a wait for freshly cooked food. Must stress our booking was for 18-45 so it was all very relaxed can only recommend on what we found at the time and all was excellent will definitely return
Fabulous food, fabulous place, were there for lunch, lovely atmosphere, definitely will be returning.
We went to Nonnas for a joint birthday celebration and a special day out, we had a vegan and 3 vegetarians in our party. We could not have been looked after better by our lovely waitress, and the food was absolutely gorgeous! They laid on special vegan options which they were happy to try out in anticipation of a vegan week coming up soon. The lovely, young, creative chef even delivered our main courses personally! Thank you Nonnas!
We wasn't that impressed to be honest, it was very noisey as there was a 40th party going on, we could not hear ourselves think let alone talk. The food was quite pricey for what we had, the portions were quite small & also my meal was very salty. It's a shame as we had been looking forward to going & was quite disappointed.
Fantastic food and service. Table next to us was very noisy which was a shame but generally great experience!
Took my family here to celebrate Mother's Day, booked a table for 5.45pm and had to sit and listen to the most awful language from the table behind us, two couples that had clearly been drinking all afternoon and had no manners at all. I had my 10 year old son with me, other tables also had young children with them, not the restaurants fault, but when you are paying a premium for food, and at that time of night, you don't expect to have to listen to that. A real shame as it is now somewhere we will not return.
Booked for Mothers day service was excellent food was lovely would highly recommend
Amazing ambience. Food is fantastic (we are vegetarian), service is brilliant.
Went for a special occasion and the staff were only too happy to help. One of us fancied something different to what was on the menu that day and staff were very happy to oblige to make it that extra special. Food is stunning, surrounding is gorgeous and staff are fantastic
I've been here twice now. Food is good. The Burrata is served pretty much on it's own, could do with more tomatoes or some kind of bread, and one starter came out far from warm. Pasta is really good, pizza is OK but I wouldn't say traditional Italian/isn't the best. It's a cute little restaurant, very cosy and quirky and definitely a good choice to avoid the chain restaurants in MK.
Good food, ambiance, and service. The Maltese influence on the food makes it just that bit different and very tasty. Having just recently been to Malta it was very authentic. Well worth going to for a meal.
Good first visit albeit for lunch only. We definitely go back for dinner one evening and fancy trying breakfast too.
Staff are polite and attentive and food is freshly made and tasted great.
We came for a get together which worked out well as the restaurant whilst being fairly quiet had a good atmosphere whilst also being cosy. Good food and friendly service. Will come again.
