   I can't fault Nor Loft, although I'm slightly reluctant to post this because I don't want it to become too popular! The staff yesterday were fabulous. Friendly, welcoming and attentive. The venue and views from the balcony are fabulous and I love the fact they provide blankets, but it's the staff that keep me returning. Thank you Nor Loft.

   Second visit to Nor’ Loft. Service was just as good as last time. It’s clearly a very popular venue but didn’t feel crowded as there is plenty of space between tables. Will definitely return and continue to recommend to others.

   One of my very favourite places. I go frequently and have recommended it to many friends. I have spent a considerable amount of money over the years and knew quite a lot of the staff over this time. I have booked the picnic, afternoon tea and fondue. I have given many excellent reviews over the years. However last night, the female who appeared to be in charge was rude and unprofessional and refused to serve us our last drink giving no further commentary on why. There were no previous problems. This was after she let us spend over £200 on food and drink. She then refused to refund our service charge which is simply unacceptable. So upsetting as it was a colleague’s leaving night and ruined the end of what was a lovely day. Very different place with this person which is very sad. All other staff were courteous, friendly and professional I must point out.

   Came to Nor Loft for a few drinks for my friend's birthday. Couldn't have have a nicer time. Staff were very attentive and even surprised my friend with some chocolates and a card for her birthday. Everything we ordered was lovely. Highly recommend.

   We had a variety of drinks and ate off the small plates menu when we dined on Friday 2nd May. Thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our time at Nor Loft from seating, attentive staff, quality of food and drinks and the overall surroundings and fabulous views across Edinburgh city centre. It was our anniversary, which I had noted when booking and we were presented with a very personal hand written card and complimentary chocolates to wish us a happy anniversary. A brilliant personable touch from the team. Bravo! and 5 stars all round.

    If you’re looking for a perfect afternoon tea experience this spring, book this without hesitation. The food, drinks, and service were all outstanding. I’ll definitely be returning!
