North Italia - Dallas
We sat outside on the patio with a great view of downtown Dallas. The service was very friendly and professional and the food was excellent. We live in DFW, so we will definitely return.
White truffle garlic bread is wonderful. The pizzas are very good. And the latte was incredible!
This is a wonderful place made even better by their willingness and ability to handle food allergies effortlessly. Our server was awesome and the food was delicious.
Stacy was an absolutely wonderful server, and was accommodating with us bringing our dog to the outdoor patio! Food was excellent as well
LOVEEEEE - best meal I Love it so much here
Food is really great
Service was extremely slow, had to ask hostess to find us a server after a number of tables seated after us were attended to - and we didn't even have water yet!
Two thumbs up.
Great as usual!
Great view, great food. Server was fantastic. Hostess was quite rude. We had made a reservation and decided to sit outside, when we found it too cold the hostess' response was have 1 1/2 hour wait for inside! The tone was very put out.
Food was good, service was fine, enjoyed it.
Our reservation was at 6. We were not seated until 6:30 and there were at least 2 other 4 tops available and no one was seated there. Our food, which is normally piping hot, was Luke warm at best! Several other people left because it was obvious that something was going on with several empty tables also available outside.
I went to North Italia for brunch and it did not disappoint. Amazing food.
Extremely slow and poor service. The food was fantastic but the overall experience was disappointing unfortunately.
Great service and excellent food.
Amazing staff and great service!!!!
Awesome... our service was spectacular
Fabulous food and great service!
Love this place! Everything on the menu is fantastic!
After our experience I'm not sure I can recommend this restaurant to a friend. The service was absolutely terrible! We had a reservation and we waited for our food for at least 45 minutes after we ordered and our waiter never came to tell us what was taking so long. In fact, our waiter never came back after we received our food to see how it was, or to ask if we needed anything. Our pasta and pizza was warm (not hot), so I'm assuming that it was sitting in the kitchen for a while. We've been here several times before for lunch and thought the pizza was great, but I'm not sure we'll be back after this!
Beautiful space, great menu. Was excited to try this place! A quiet Monday night.
If I could give negative stars for service I would. Waiter never brought our drinks and by the time we found someone to bring them the ice had melted. Took that long. They comped the drinks which was nice, but I’d rather pay for a good drink with good service.
Meatballs were good, nothing special. Bolognese was an absolute embarrassment to this amazing dish. My buddies liked their fish.
I can forgive mediocre food in exchange for great service and ambiance. This place has the ambiance but the service was horrendous. I’m not going back.
LOVE THE FOOD! Cocktails are amazing too and the patio was great atmosphere!
Delightful meal with excellent service from Jared, we sat in the bar area, although we had a reservation. The house specialty is their meat sauce and was delicious. We will return.
I've been here several times and always had great service, but brunch on Sunday as a cluster. We lost our waiter, got a new one who promptly disappeared, wrangled our original waiter to finally get something besides water with ice (altho we asked for no ice). It continued downhill. Asked for prosciutto, I got bacon. The manager was kind enough to bring me prosciutto so I ended up with a really meaty breakfast (pawning the bacon on my husband). The request for salting the rim went unheeded, so drink went back to the bar. The found-again waiter was apologetic and said for all of our disconnects he'd bring out complimentary beignets. You guessed it...they never materialized. But then, we didn't really want them anyway. The interest seemed more about keeping things tidy and cleaned up than giving customers eye contact and checking in.
Had a prefixed menu for Valentine's day. Was great food. Only wish they brought out the correct dessert for both of our orders (messed up on one of them)
For Valentine's Day we found it to be a overpriced.
Our experience went well, other than being very close to the kitchen. Seating was minimal though, seeing as though it was Valentine’s Day. Our server was outstanding. He gave us reassurance that despite our seating, he would take care of us, and he truly did.
They have the BEST burrata and fungi pizza! I am kinda addicted!
Service was terrible
Great food and service
My boyfriend, sister, and I were celebrating my 21st birthday. The food was super delicious, I was actually quite blown away by how amazing it was. This was my first time at any North Italia location. The service was below subpar. We never really knew who our server was, which wouldn’t have been an issue if any of the servers helping us were willing to come over to our table and make sure our needs were being met. I’m not usually too strict on service but I was very unimpressed. The first server who greeted us upon arrival was also the one who helped us with dessert. When he brought me my birthday dessert he said, and I quote, “I don’t have a candle and I’m not going to sing happy birthday to you but hey at least it’s free so that’s gotta count for something” ....I work in the service industry and would never DREAM of saying that to a guest. All in all, the food was awesome and I was in great company so I had a fun time, but I didn’t feel very welcomed or celebrated by the staff which was unfortunate.
Did not get a server at our table for 12 minutes. By the time we did, he was sassy and confrontational - his name was Trevor. For the price, there are way better options for hand made pastas in Dallas.
it was extremely loud. food was okay.
Nice location, service was OK but a bit spotty (guy would disappear for a while).
Just love North! Always has a fabulous menu with every item leaving you wanting more... especially the ricotta bread and bolognese!
The food was good and the restaurant staff was very nice - but once our party was all seated it took about 20 minutes for our server to come back to our table to take drink and food orders - he was busy! I parked in the adjacent garage and could not get out with the "validated" card they gave me to use in the machine. After going back to the restaurant to get it taken care of, it still wouldn't let me out which resulted in a 10 minute conversation with garage security over the intercom while cars stacked up behind me trying to get out. They need to get this figured out. Not a pleasant way to end the otherwise good dining experience.
As always, North Italia delivers. I love the new downtown location. Great outdoor seating, cool indoor ambiance, good service and great food.
It took us a long time to get our wine even though we were dining early.
We asked for bread and it came with no butter or olive oil.
Leek soup was not hot enough.
Bolognase was too salty.
No parmesan cheese offered for the pasta dishes.
The only thing that is north Italian about this place is its location-north of downtown Dallas.
