North Italia In King of Prussia
North Italia King of Prussia is located in the mall’s exterior corridor between Macy’s and Neiman Marcus.
Choice of: margherita or cacio e pepe. (1170/1340 cal)
gigli pasta, toasted pine nut, garlic, basil, crispy caper
The food was excellent and the pasta is definitely homemade.
I feel that the items are expensive and that cost is the only drawback to eating here.
Food was good. Prices were high for the small portions that were given.
Music was way too loud
The Bolognese was outstanding. My wife had the Barrata pasta and said it was delicious. Good service.
It’s a must go to in the middle of your shopping experience…never disappoints
First time here. Loved it.
Delicious and great service
Eaten here before with no issues, but this visit was not very good. The food was very good, only problem was that the food came out irregularly with large gaps. We had a large group of 10, but it was Monday and crowded so don't know what happened. Meatballs came out and then nothing for 30 minutes. Last of the appetizers came out as some dinners came out. Three 3 dinners came out then another 3 came out about 15 minutes later, then 3 more about 10 minutes later and y wife didn't get her dinner until AFTER other 9 diners had finished eating!!! Server & manager apologized and offered to compensate us, but then took dessert order and it didn't come out for over 25 minutes ... literally 1 donut order and 1 ice cream tort order??? My wife and another guest literally just boxed up entire dinner and took home as there was not time to eat as everyone else was done. I do like the place based on past visit, but this was definitely NOT a pleasant experience!
Everything was great, but even at reduced volume, the music was too loud!
The food was absolutely amazing! Service was quality and great ambiance! Can’t wait to return!
I love this place, the food is amazing and the restaurant is beautiful.
Unbelievable server! She made us have a excellent experience
Food took a long time to come and when it finally did it was warm and the bowl was scorching. We asked to have it reheated but it had to be remade which took another 25 minutes. Food was just okay. Service held up.
Menu item not the same from previous visits
The service was excellent (Anna) and so was the food. Everything we had was terrific. I highly recommend the prosciutto bruschetta as an app, as well as the Caesar salad and the grilled tenderloin. This is becoming one of my favorite places.
Great food, horrible service. Waited for 15 min before anyone came to our table, and that was only after we flagged down a member of the waitstaff that wasn’t assigned to our table. Even once the correct server was made aware of her table she was inattentive at best. Food was great, but service awful. Would not go back based on such poor treatment
We go to North for the food, not because it is trendy or ambience.
We have been there a couple of times, but yesterday things were off.
The food was great, as usual. But the service was not what we have seen before. I had to ask for refills on my drink. Dessert was delivered without a spoon. There was a dirty glass on the table when we came to the table. They were out of the soup for the day at 5:30pm.
I would still very much recommend North but don't expect great service at this time.
The Truffle.Bread is a must...arugula and avocado salad is good pretty small for the price but good...and the Margherita pizza was pretty ok...a little salty bit still good and fresh
We used to love North Italia. I’ve been to a location in Arizona, so when I moved to the area I was so excited to find one close by!
My boyfriend and I came to North Italia many times last year and considered it “our spot”. We’ve always had wonderful service and delicious food - until recently.
We usually order the same meals, and they were always just as yummy as before! We started to notice little changes during our last two visits…
There was meat in a vegetarian dish, bow tie noodles in the penne pasta, small things, but they made our experience less enjoyable. We wrote this off as a once-off and gave them the benefit of the doubt. We made our server aware, but they were not able to recreate the memorable dishes that we had previously enjoyed.
This last time we went for dinner, to try again, we were even less impressed. Please note, the service staff was working very hard and we do not want this to negatively impact the hardworking servers. We understand that everyone is short staffed.
We ordered and appetizer with our drinks. A hot dish which took 20 minutes to arrive, and sadly arrived cold. Our drinks arrived after, when we already gave up on enjoying the appetizer.
In order to save ourselves from more disappointment, we asked our waiter for a check when he stopped by, probably 45 minutes after we ordered drinks and an appetizer.
If you decide to take a chance, I recommend going during a less busy time and having a few hours to spare.
For the prices, we sadly feel this is no longer an experience that we can enjoy.
Food was adequate...nothing to rave about. Other Italian places in the area (Limoncellos, Maggianos) are much better.
It was outstanding like always ! Will go back soon 😊😊😊
Christian went out of his way to make our experience most excellent. We had a great time and we’ll certainly come back!
I have been to north italia many many times but this was by far my worst experience all because of the hostess, she was so rude as soon as we walked in. She said “hi” in the least enthusiastic way, didn’t even look up from the tablet when greeting us. Then when we were ready to be seated she just said follow me but didn’t say any names (there were others waiting) and just started walking away then stared back us because apparently we were supposed to be following her. Honestly the hostess ruined our night and we were so disappointed because all the other staff is SO friendly. Our waitress was AMAZING and the food was delicious!
Great! Our server Anthony was fantastic
Great food and drinks! Lovely atmosphere!
Server was good but lagged after we received our food.
however because it was an hour before closing I’m thinking, the staff was busy with each other, a few actually doing side work but the table directly behind us had staff sitting eating, across from us a high top had another two chatting away with each, another two jumped in earth others arms on the floor from joy of seeing each because one jus came through the door, supervisor/ manager even though seen walking around …there was no personal touch with our table anyway. I guess everybody was just through with the long day but guests were still seated on floor!
On the bright side food was good, nice setting. We were greeted & seated in a timely manner then told to have a good night when leaving. Will be back.
Although our server was very accommodating and did the best he could, everything we tried to order was either out of stock or did not meet our dietary restrictions.
The steak tagliatelle was dry and over cooked and when we complained nothing was done about it.
We will not be returning .
Great experience as always
It was a wonderful night! We celebrated our friend’s birthday and North Italia was the perfect spot! We love the food and the service was wonderful. Angel was our server and she was amazing! She was so kind and helpful! Thank you to North Italia for a great night!
Food was terrific!
Best experience there in awhile
You have to dine here at least once...def nice for a date, happy hour, or group setting.
We went there for my birthday and The food was absolutely disgusting! Appetizers came out with dinner. The spaghetti and meatballs were not edible not sure how you get spaghetti and meatballs wrong it tasted like Campbell tomato soup was used. I ordered scallops that was supposed to have shallots instead they were French’s crispy onions that you use on string bean casserole thrown on top of scallops. So disgusting. Garlic bread was a mushy mess, Caesar salad had about a pound of shredded Parmesan thrown on top. Never again not sure how it stays open.
Food was wonderful as always. It was too loud in the restaurant. Hard to talk and hear others. The restaurant was busy. It didn’t seem like they had enough wait staff. Having said that we were fine just sitting and catching up. Once orders were taken food came out pretty quickly.
It was a beautiful evening spent dining outside with good friends. The service was great and the food was prepared perfectly and wonderful.
I liked the big open spaces of the restaurant. Food choices were great with a good variety and of course the traditional standbys and were beautifully presented.
The Chef's board was delicious and a filling appetizer. Our server was delightful and very attentive. Will be going back.
Great service, great food, our server Jose was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu
Awesome experience, food was very good. Would definitely come back again and again and again. Worth the hour drive. Maybe on a weekday though weekends are very busy and the noise of everyone talking was very loud but it’s a weekend so understandable.
