Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
Waitresses was lovely , she long back hair and was very friendly.
really lovely i will happily go back maybe if the music was a bit louder
Definitely visiting again love the service love the food the shisha, the workers were very friendly.
Shisha was hurting throat badly had to keep changing it. Prawns were very nice though . Did not like where I was sitting. Wanted a private table because across from where I was there was uncles who kept on watching me and my friends . Made me feel uncomfortable . It looked as if we was all sitting together .
Cocktails delicious, food was good but could have done with some kind of sauce for the meat platter. Service was excellent, the gentle man that served us went above and beyond to make our evening very special. They made the place safe for both staffs and customer.
I would definitely go back again.
Nice choice of foods and shisha! We enjoyed coming along. Just wish we could have stayed longer.
We had booked a table for this place through open table I was told it was £5 deposit per head for the table and deposit will be taken off the final bill.
When we had arrived we was told we had to pay £10 entry for my partner and £5 entry for myself this completely caught me off guard as I had already payed a deposit for the table but was told the boxing was on so we had to pay entry my partner payed entry fee’s no problem but I was not made aware of this prior to coming. upon walking in their was nobody to help us or assist us I had to ask the security to show us where we had to go as the staff was not helpful at all. We was then taken into the garden area and placed at a little small table right underneath the tv and we had people right next to us me and my partner literally had no space between the other guests and me and my partner felt really awkward and uncomfortable and had no privacy to even talk everyone was all squashed up on different tables and was definitely not adhering to the 2m covid 19 rule. we didn’t feel welcome and had to wait ages just for our drinks and shisha the place was packed full of young boys it got to the point me and my partner finished our drinks and left after not even an hour of being their.
Also do not expect “deposit” to be taken off your final bill as they didn’t take it off my bill and basically kept my deposit even though it’s suppose to be taken off your final bill mine was not.
Me personally I will not be returning as it was definitely not what I was expecting at all and if your having a date night then steer clear of this place!!
Too expensive, 25£ for a shisha. I understand it's hard for everyone but increasing pricing now is not a good idea. Definitely not coming back.
It was lovely
Food was terrible, lacking in flavour and quality.
Beverly good customer service, delicious meal, best shisha
Amazing service. Would go back again for sure.....
I was really disappointed on the service and on occasions asked 3 different staff to take my order. Was waiting over 20 minutes for a cocktail. In the end my party had to keep going to the bar to order even though we we’re supposed to be minimising moving around the bar.
The services and food were very poor
Good food so very happy. Very quiet for a Saturday night though
Nice staff High quality of the playlist .Rhythm of the services perfectly set
Very Medico visit... We booked for the brunch and ended up with the Xmas Menu with unlimited Prosecco (which I’m sure was non-alcoholic) food options were limited, and was quite bland...
Enjoyed a 2-course meal here 2 consecutive weeks running. The menu options, choices, quality and overall value for money was very good.
Staff were excellent - attentive, friendly and professional. When I dined it was quiet (just how I personally prefer it!) as it was early evening, however the North Pole had a nice ambience and a good feel.
I was not rushed or hurried at any point and my overall experience was positive so would happily return to eat again if ever working or staying in the area.
Absolutely Fanstatic this was t our first visit but was for Sunday roast the food was outstanding the service first class will be back again very soon
We got to the top of a very dirty staircase. The place was deserted and the smell off-putting. We chose not to dine there.
The food and service were very good. I liked the atmosphere and nice background music. The set menu was excellent value for money.
Staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble, we opted for the bottomless and it was well worth it.
Really good food and generous portions too. Service was a little slow but there was a large baby shower party in the next room and only one waiter so understandable
Beautiful venue with great food and service. Caters for all needs. We have been back many times. One of our favorite places for date night.
I so love this place and the staff are always amazing.
Always a lovely experience! Cones highly recommended.
The staff were attentive without being intrusive
The Sunday Dinner was of good quality and the vegetables (which were plentiful) were fresh. Plenty of beef and lamb were provided. Desserts were lovely (Baklava and Apple pie).
Restaurant was clean and tables were of good size for 2 diners.
Good value - Two courses including two glasses of wine = £60
Pub downstairs was not great, beer served was poor and expensive.
Rock hard butter served with warm bread is not a good combination.
Was ok but booked a table for 10 called at 9.20 to say I was going to be 15 minutes late. They said it’s ok they close kitchen at 10.30. When I got there they told me no even said they did not have my booking showed them then they said sorry we can’t but if you go to the bar down stairs they will still be selling food got down stairs they said they had crisps. Already had ordered a drink so was far to late to do anything else.
Just wished they had said on the phone was not ok to turn up at 10.15.
Food was good and plentiful. Service was friendly but a bit slow. Music was loud when we arrived but they readily turned it down when we asked. We were the only people eating in the restaurant for most of the time (Saturday lunch) - another couple came later - so it was very good for easy conversation.
the service was poor, I had a groupon, they couldn't take it after a certain time so it was invalid, food was slightly cold and too too expensive. their staff was rushing instead aiding to the customers.
We booked the restaurant for New Years Eve 2018 as they advertised a New Years celebration event containing a special meal and celebrations in their club. The advert stated "Dress code is strictly smart, full of glamour so be sure to dress to the nines".
Well when we got there at 8:00 the place was nearly empty. After an hour some more people did arrive so we thought it was just people would be coming late. Unfortunately not many more people arrived so we thought oh dear this is not going to be fun. The worse was the majority of the people could not have read the Strictly smart statement as most were in very casual cloths including one table with 3 gents in jeans and t-shirts. We felt well out of place in an evening dress and suit.
It then got worse. We tried the club downstairs but left quickly as we felt very much out of place.
We left straightway and headed back to Greenwich town and had great fun in the Gypsy Moth pub so the even was not ruined.
On the positive side we would like to say.
The meal was fantastic and so were the staff. We would go back there for a meal.
Probably cannot moan at the place for lack of attendance or the lack of support by the other guest.
Would not recommend for an New Years Eve celebration.
In the end very expensive short lived time at the place
Great night, the food has changed since I last sent there but was not disappointed. The portions were good and the food tasted great. Good value for money and will go again.
While the food and service were really great, and the restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere, the music being played was so loud, I could hardly have a conversation with my dinner guest. Please turn down the music in the restaurant as it forces all the patrons to shout over the music. If I wanted to go to a bar, I would have gone to the bar below the restaurant. Thank you.
The music was very loud and had to shout to be heard. Although when requested they did turn the music down. The food was delicious although a little overdone on the spice side. The duck sauce and bread and butter pudding were very spicy.
My boyfriend and I ate here after my daughter bought a three course meal, with Prosecco/Bellini as a gift for me via Groupon.
It never seems easy to book on these vouchers but after a few ‘fine print’ discussions about December availability and no Al a Carte menu on offer....., the table was booked and we arrived at the restaurant.
Another query about the voucher-showing as ‘redeemed’ when clearly not and we were handed our menus, shown the items that we’d need to pay a surcharge on and proceeded to order.
Starters were plentiful and delicious. Prawn and salmon Roulade and salt and chilli squid.
Mains were a little disappointing-after such delicious starters.
The mixed grill meats were all over cooked and dry but with delicious rice, whist my spatchcock chicken was tiny... a real shame because it was flavoursome and perfectly cooked.
Our desserts were yummy!
Chocolate fondant with fruit and ice cream and a vanilla creme brûlée, again with fresh berries.
The prosecco was mediocre but I enjoyed both glasses and my partner had a couple of beers at £4 a pint.
Service was excellent and although our starters took a while to arrive - expected as we were there whilst a works’ Christmas party filled the rest of the upstairs seating area- our waiter was spot on.
We were offered seats downstairs in the nicely decorated and large bar.
We enjoyed ourselves!
Other than being initially very noisy with a baby shower in the adjacent room all good
Staff did not know what the soup of the day was or the ingredients in it. Spatchcock chicken full of bones and well overcooked, very dry. Dishes do not reflect the pictures online.
Wouldn't recommend this restaurant. Only 2 other diners, lacked atmosphere, quite pricey, typical pub menu. Advertised as a piano bar, piano there but no one playing.
A little disappointed with the food and atmosphere. after ordering the trout which came with a little bit of veg underneath, the additional "sides" like other veg, fries etc were £4 each per portion.
As a 'Piano bar" I expected the piano to be playing with a good atmosphere within the restaurant. Sadly not the case. Piano tucked away in a corner, no sign of a pianist and no atmosphere around the restaurant at all.
Had a lovely meal with friends, we had two small children and the restaurant was very accommodating for us. We were able to sit away from the main dining area so as not to bother the other guests.
