Disappointing that I was looking forward to enjoying a celebratory meal having flown into London for just a few days and received no notification that this restaurant has completely closed down and has been for weeks.
I made a reservation here, but it was closed when we showed up - doors locked and lights off. no further information given.
I was let make a booking for Friday the 4th of January by Naula’s/open table. We made our way to London to find that Naula’s bar and restaurant was closed!
Very disappointed as I had lots of good recommendations about Naula’s.
Restaurant was closed
We arrived for an work team Christmas lunch at 12.15pm and were the only people in the place but the staff were welcoming and the woodfire oven gave a cosy feel to the place. The food was absolutely outstanding. We had one vegan among us who rhapsodized over the roast artichoke. The smoked salmon starters had radish slices and a spiced mayonnaise which I had never seen before. The Steak tartare was equally inventive and be honest a little on the large side as a starter. Good problem to have. The woodoven roasted sea-bream for 2 was moist but firm. Good wine list (we chose Austrian Red) and we opted for Espresso Martinis with the roast Pineapple and Sorbet desert, again very inventive. The staff were all very attentive and the place had filled up nicely around us to create a nice buzzy atmosphere. A great addition to the silicon roundabout scene.
nice place , but food defiantley no good , beef rib was tasteless food overall was poor at best
Lovely lunch at Nuala, special thanks to the Bartender for excellent customer service and the best Bloody Mary ever
A good and friendly restaurant and bar. Nice decor and a good atmosphere, staff very friendly and helpful.
Amazing place... Had an awesome night here.
The food and atmosphere here was great.
Will definitely be coming here again
We just had limited time between the end of a local exhibition and our train home so booked their first Saturday sitting at 5:30. Arrived a little early but they were happy for us to sit and have a drink at the bar.
When we explained that we were short on time the service was nice and brisk but still attentive.
Food was beautiful. Full of flavour and very well cooked. Recommend the smoked beef tartare and the cod with white beans and fennel.
This is truly a hidden gem. We live in the area and have tried all the Michelin star places around and the food and service at Nuala trumps them all. Fresh, seasonal local produce cooked in front of you on not one but two impressive wood fires. Haben and the wait staff are impeccable with their attention to detail. The wine list is pretty extensive awesome too and the Guniness here like no where else in England.... not to mention all the Irish whiskies galore.
Cannot recommend enough - a true, delicious gem. And not deafeningly loud so that you have to yell your head-off.
Excellent afternoon lunch with fantastic staff... the food and wine were great
Lovely atmosphere. Fantastic food. Friendly service
Excellent! Great food and service. Would highly recommend.
Nice cocktails, cool chilled vibe, service was very good. Starters were alright but nothing special. Goats curd a bit disappointing, too much beetroot, not enough curd. Skinny fries were nice.
Fantastic, thoughtful, intelligent professional team at the front of house teamed with delicious, interesting dishes from the chefs - will certainly be back.
Had a fantastic experience at Nuala. The food was sensational and good portion sizes, the authentic fire cooked taste is so delicious. The menu is not huge, we ordered most of it, but every single dish was so unique and tasty. We are definitely coming back again! One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in London.
Perfect night out. The tables give you lots of space whilst still making the restaurant feel buzy. The service was fantastic: prompt, knowledgeable, relaxed and helpful. The wine list very interesting, and excellent cocktails too. The food was delicious, particularly the rich cuttlefish orzo starter, and the pineapple coconut desert. We'll be back.
Delicious food, a bit quiet at lunchtime but still quality
A bit too expensive for what they offer, but still, its a nice place to go and have dinner.
I've had a few good meals here, the menu changes frequently and there are always good vegetarian options, as well as delicious pork chops and thick-cut sharing steaks cooked over a proper open charcoal grill. Very attentive service. On the pricey side, but worth it. Good bar downstairs too with excellent Guinness.
Great front of house staff and friendly service. Food was inventive and tasty as usual.
Allergies? Indicate them when booking, they really take them into account. I've got milk and soy allergies. The waitress came to me with a menu indicating what I could and couldn't have.
Very enjoyable evening spent at Nuala, Guinness was good and the meal was excellent. Good atmosphere on the night we were there, would go back.
Food very strange. Strange combinations.
Very attentive, welcoming staff and a nice ambiance for a group meal with friends. Service was quite slow and I thought some of the dishes were overpriced for what they were. Downstairs, on the otherhand, was fantastic. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening listening to live traditonal Irish music, sipping Guinness and enjoying the craic! :)
We had such a lovey experience at Nuala - easy to get a booking for a good time, nice table, great ambience. The wait staff were all incredibly welcoming, efficient and helpful. Our main course was taking a bit longer than expected, so we were comped some starters without having to ask (I’ll be honest, we didn’t realise the main was taking so long, so we were pleasantly surprised with the starters!) Great wine list, nice, central area. As an Irish native myself, it was nice to feel a sense of home in the hospitality.
Honestly, the food is delicious and the restaurant is gorgeous. Wholeheartedly recommend.
I've been to Nuala a few times now and have been consistently wowed by the food. Staff are attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Good wine list with some really good unusual choices. One of the best new openings of the year in my opinion.
Despite not being full, and at only 8.30 on a Saturday night, there were several things off what is only a limited menu including two main options that 3 out of 5 people were intending to have and a starter that 3 out of 5 were also going to have.
We were only told of this about 15 minutes after arriving and the reason was simply that they had "run out".
We were not willing to stay and left so the food and value rating above were not really tested.
that left us with no other booked option and we had to attempt to get in elsewhere at short notice but actually did find a table at another restaurant that had luckily had a cancellation.
to have so many items off a short menu and not explain before we sat down is unacceptable and, even if they had sold out within minutes of our arrival/ordering, as was claimed, that shouldn't happen so early on a Saturday night.
This was our second visit to Nuala and did not disappoint. Previously was just the 2 of us but then took some friends, the bar downstairs was great, waiter and bar tender very accommodating on making cocktails. Upstairs for dinner same great service and food, Kieran went above and beyond in making it a fabulous night, cannot recommend Nuala highly enough. The menu had changed since we had been a few months before but great choices and really interesting menu.
Will definitely be back.
Excellent as always. Highly recommend the steak tartare
great service and overall honest prices for the quality of the products.
Food was great - Lunch time menu was quite limited but was very good.
Been twice now in two weeks . Business and with my wife
Food was excellent . Service impeccable on both occasions
Excellent and attentive service - great food and wine! Wine service showed care and knowledge. Could not ask for more - a wonderful and memorable family evening for a special birthday. The bar downstairs was good for a post-dinner drink.
Excellent all round. Food was incredible (best sirloin I have had), friendly staff, nicest Guinness in London.
I booked Nuala for my Fiancés birthday, the restaurant staff saw this on the booking and brought out desert with a candle! (Which we were not expecting but was a lovely touch)
I've been for dinner with work colleagues and then lunch with family and not had a good meal either time and I feel I gave them the benefit of the doubt by booking the lunch. My cod lunch special was bland in a green sauce and unseasoned, and the mussels that my guests both chose had many shells not fully opened and the sauce was weak. Skipped dessert and coffee. I think the lunch menu was pretty odd with a lot of nuts added to dishes and the side salad was that curly attractive looking leaf which is pretty bitter in quantity and sprinkled with a few sliced radish. Shame as this place is local to me.
Muy buen ambiente... Bajar al bar en el subterráneo
Great food, lovely wine and absolutely outstanding service!
Great Guinness, fries delicious, but odd that the small plate of broad beans with mozzarella and lemon confit did not in fact contain broad beans at all, but broccoli rabe. Our wait person said nothing about this when I asked about the dish before ordering, nor offered any explanation as to why it was different than listed. Fortunately, the broccoli rabe was good and well prepared, but it wasn't what I ordered.
Enjoyable evening. Nice athmosphere.
Menu limited-ish and chicken was not available.
What they do, they do very well.
Live music downstairs, shame bar not more full, they deserved a bigger audience.
