The ground floor of Devonshire Club is dedicated to drinking, dining and entertaining. The Club’s restaurant Number Five is headed up by Executive Chef Adam Gray and serves a range of modern-British dishes. The 110 seating eatery is illuminated by floor to ceiling garden facing windows with sumptuous leather banquette seating and stylish tables and chairs. Number Five’s menu celebrates seasonality and food provenance and mirror Devonshire Club’s seamless fusion of history and modernity, with nods towards traditional East-London fayre complemented by offerings of a more contemporary cuisine. These new dishes use seasonal ingredients from the British Isles, executed impeccably without fuss whilst still displaying an essence of Adam’s personality – namely his passion for healthy, British food.

It's a lovely venue, very pretty inside and the garden looks like it would be great in the summer. I went for brunch, the food was nice although portions were small. Go for the three course menu if like to eat. Service was very slow, the food took long to come out. I asked for bread with my main that arrived with the desserts! I get that it's quiet on the weekend but this was verging on ridiculous. Then we were also overcharged with the bill.

The brunch was very nice! Unfortunately the menus online were not up-to-date so some things were not available or had increased in price... with quite a bit of persuasion they honoured the bottomless g&t option that had been removed from their menu (but was still showing online). However they would only do this for one guest.

Despite this, it was a very nice experience overall!

Came here for my bday brunch and it was a wonderful choice. The welcome team at the entrance were great, although it took a while to be seated despite the place being a bit empty when I arrived. The drinks deal (£15 bottomless prosecco/bellini) is great, and the waitresses made sure we were always topped up. The £25 food deal is value for money, but i'd only recommend it if you have a big appetite, as the amount of food you get is akin to having two full breakfasts. The conservatory of this restaurant is GORGEOUS and definitely worth requesting a seat there after you've had your brunch at the restaurant. Only thing I would ask of the team is to add some speakers in that room to add to the atmosphere.
All in all, Devonshire Club is different to any other place I've been to for brunch and I would highly recommend it. Staff are great, food is awesome and the conservatory is cozy and wonderful for catch ups.

My friend and I booked for the bottomless brunch on a Saturday, and had a GREAT time. The service was so good! We were very well looked after. It was quite quiet inside with only a few tables filled, but a wedding was happening in the main WeWork campus courtyard so it was difficult to see the restaurant the day we visited, plus there was a bank holiday on the Monday - perhaps this would explain the quietness. My friend ordered the chicken burger which he said was very good, and I had one of the best coffees i've had in ages. Would definitely come back, and recommend to friends :)

On vacation with our family and just needed a meal near by. The menu on opentable was nothing like what the menu at the restaurant. It was very formal and quite expensive , but absolutely delicious. It wasn’t what we expected to eat or pay, but I can’t complain, because the food and service was impeccable.

Stylish in a modern contemporary dining room way but with late night elegance. Good attentive service without hassle. And the food was superb. Tasted as good as the menu description. Leave room for dessert, they are signature dishes!

Very poor service, waited 30 minutes for our first drinks, had to self pour the prosecco as the servers were nowhere to be seen and when 1 main course was incorrect, we waited 20minutes for a replacement. Very disappointing.

Lovely outdoor setting for a very enjoyable lunch with a couple of friends on a sunny Saturday afternoon. It was quiet which suited us and the weekend brunch menu had a very good selection which we were all happy to choose from. Our service was attentive but not overbearing which was appreciated given there were not a lot of other lunchtime customers. Certainly hope to go again soon!

When it came to paying the bill was wrong, when we questioned it they got a calculator and acted as if we were lying. We then asked to split they bill across 3 but we’re all charged random amounts differing by £10. Very odd. Good food but not worth visiting because of rude staff.

Brasserie couldn’t locate our booking, despite the front desk managing to. They then took two attempts to seat us at a table, having to set a new table cloth for one of the booths. We ordered food and coffee which turned up in good time but the two bloody marys we ordered when ordering the food didn’t arrive until we’d finished eating, we had to ask twice where they were. We sat at 10:45am and were there an hour. From 11am we were the only people in there apart from the waiters and other staff, who were arranging tables for later. Would not recommend for early weekend brunch pretty awkward being the only ones there. All in all a bit o a let down for a 10 year anniversary brunch.

Very dissapointed by my brunch experience. The restaurant is beautiful. However, service was poor as was the food. Our waiter “forgot to put our order into the kitchen” he told us 20 mins after we ordered. 15 mins later there was still no sign of our food bear in mind it was pasta. After asking the manager where our food was it came Luke warm and the pasta was hard. I told the waiter who simple suggested ordering something else. As it’s a brunch menu one it shocks me linguini was such a challenge to get ready and there was no apology over this poor service. Very dissapointed as I had great expectations, they also ran out of oysters.

Thank you Devonshire club for a perfect Burns Supper evening. From the warm welcome putting myself and my cousin completely at ease and whole evening, authentic Burns night menu in modern /traditional settings. The piper playing at perfect intervals. Super Scottish treat.

Great restaurant and good food. Service needs a little tweak (been here 3 times and every time some part of the order taken wrong, item forgotten etc) but overall love the place
