‘O ver comes from the Neapolitan dialect to mean:
We do our best to reflect this with the

‘O ver uses the unique ingredient of
Pure Sea Water,
which is extracted from the purest areas of the Mediterranean.
Less sodium and more minerals makes the food lighter and easily digestible

The Neapolitan street food selection - specifically, the frittatine - are to die for! And the pizza too.
Outstanding quality of food. It’s proper Italian food
Maybe a little bit expensive but it was worth it
Very reliable. Always a lovely ambiance. Great service and perfect pasta.
Excellent service, the food was amazing, I really enjoyed the good quality of ingredient and attention to details
We were asked if we wanted water 'for the table' (which usually means a jug of tap water), but were served bottled, and later charged for it. The food was really tasty, great presentation and the pasta fresh, but for mains at £17 / £20 the servings were too small to be honest. A normal portion would be about half again. The wine list was disappointing. Predominantly if not all European. What about the southern hemisphere?
I could shrug this off and possibly consider coming back on a special occasion as the food was really nice, however, the service totally put me off. One word: overbearing. They had two waiters, working about 6 tables, who between them asked us 5 times during the mains if the food was okay. FIVE. They rushed us into ordering, bothered us while eating, then took away my drink glass I kid you not one second after I had put it down empty, and my partners dish away while he was still finishing the last mouthful. This is not a nice way to treat customers, we felt rushed and irritated as they asked to clear away things on the table while we still had bread to eat and drinks to drink! Yet, when it came to getting the bill from these same waiters, I asked 3 times and it never arrived. Had to ask the host instead, and also asked for the service charge to be removed. When asked why, I said words to the above effect, to which they said yes, we have heard that feedback before.
O'Ver, have a word with the waiters. Act on the feedback. Lovely food, beautifully presented, but the wait staff ruined the experience.
Really good dinner. Nice location. Friendly staff
Fabulous food. Front of house very unfriendly!! Very hectic and a little regimented with tables.
I called the day before our table reservation to add a guest and confirm the booking but during the day of the booking I received a missed call with no voice message left. When I arrived we had been moved from the main restaurant and squashed into a table in the basement ( because I didn’t answer the call!). The waiter accidentally mixed up wines in the table then, instead of just replacing with the wine we had chosen, offered some quite strange alternative arrangement. I have been several times before, been delighted with the food and service and recommended to my friends but not sure I’d risk it again. Expensive but not good experience or value this time.
Food was a little disappointing for the price. Customer service on the whole great but I was turned away and left to wait outside as I was 5 mins early before the restaurant opened
Honestly, its Italian food - don't complicate it. Expensive for what it is entirely mediocre.
You know when you go to a restaurant and you have a taste in mind for that specific cuisine, this just doesn't hit the spot.
Sorry if this comes across negative but if you want a good Italian restaurant for to Olivo Mare or any of their family owned locations in Belgravia for a truly well done traditional dish.
Excellent pappardelle with ragu and wonderful chocolate and hazelnut desert.
Delicious food! Lovely friendly staff; very calming atmosphere felt very luxurious, will definitely return
Fantastic food - delicious! Lovely, friendly waiting staff. Will defo be back!
Best pizza in London!
Very attentive service. Anti pasti starter a bit heavy on the pancetta with no other meats. A bit fatty for my taste and very bland. Nice burrata but no salt and pepper on table so missed being able to add some taste. Green salad was copious but again taking plain to the extreme. Pizza, whilst nice, did not come with all the ingredients we ordered. When we mentioned it to waiter he said he would take missing item off the bill but of course it was still there when we came to pay and we had to ask again to remove it. This time I asked for pepper to season salad on my plate but waiter added some to the main salad bowl without warning, which was presumptuous as not sure the person sharing with me wanted pepper. Also there was a 1.5 hr turn around on the table which is a bit short to enjoy a relaxing dining experience. We we were moved to a waiting area to finish our drinks which made us feel like we were on a conveyor belt. Altogether I was a bit disappointed with the restaurant and would not rush to return. It’s strength is it’s service. Staff very obliging if a little forgetful!
Staff are lovely and food very tasty but portion sizes are tiny. My friend and I (small ladies) both ordered the ravioli as a main course and had to order a pizza afterwards as we were still hungry. 6 pieces of ravioli for £16!!
Consistently fabulous including the best pizza that I have ever eaten.
Great pizzas and wine range. Unusual liqueurs too. Highly recommended
Fantastic restaurant with very tasty food and amazing customer service.
Really excellent authentic Italian- best pizza I’ve had in ages! And a nice casual atmosphere. Great for a casual lunch or supper with friends
Very good food - at the high end of the price spectrum but worth it, lovely space and atmosphere. For overall 5* service could improve
Lovely little Italian close to London Bridge station. Nice welcome and the food was authentic. Reasonably priced. Even though we only had 1.5 hours to dine, we were able to continue our post dinner drinks in the 'waiting/welcome area' in their basement - the size and ambience a very pleasant surprise! All-in-all we would definitely go back.
Really liked the ambience and the aperol spritz
Even though the kitchen was about to close they accommodated us excellently. Thank you 🙏🏼
Probably one of the best Italian restaurants in London...
The food was quite a let down, the pizza was very soggy and didn’t have much flavor to it. The pasta was lacking in taste as well. The desserts were alright but they weren’t anything we were shocked by. The service was wonderful but the whole meal was quite a let down.
Still great fun and some proper pizza/pasta/street food which is so noticeably lacking in London these days. Expensive but worth it.
Great experience and I would definitely recommend this restaurant but be advised you need to book as it’s very dry popular
O Ver in Southwark is a place to treasure. I A year or two ago I found it be sheer chance before a matinee at the Meniere Chocolate Factory (across the road). When I tried to return a few months ago, it was completely full. Last Saturday I made sure to book in advance. The food is superb, the staff completely charming and there is a lovely familial atmosphere. Viva!!!
Our new favourite restaurant! Romantic, great food, service, atmosphere! Not one negative thing to say! Would definitely recommend!
Great place and food! The only thing I wish wasn’t so emphasised is the 2 hour limit to your reserved table.
The pace of the waiter seemed to be influenced by that too... I will come back though , it is excellent ambiente with the right noise level so that you can talk!!
Nice enough I guess. Were warned that there was a 2 hour time limit but fortunately not enforced as the service was a bit slow. Nice starters, shared a few dishes. Pizza for mains as it was a bit cheaper (generally a bit overpriced) but they were disappointing, lots of base but not much topping. No time for deserts but full anyway.
Wonderful food. Varied wine and beer menu. Best pizzas in London! Love it.
Had an excellent evening- nice friendly waiter who gave us very good recommendations for both food and wine.
Certainly will be back!!
This is probably one of the only restaurants where literally every single thing in the menu sounded great. The service was also amazing. Honestly, best italian I've been to in London, and I've tried lots.
I booked lunch at O'ver for a colleague's leaving do having been recommended it by another colleague and it didn't disappoint. The restaurant itself is small and intimate, the dishes were freshly cooked, delicious and authentic and the staff were very attentive.
It was unfortunate we happened to be in the restaurant at the time of the stabbings on London Bridge on 29th November, but I feel it necessary to mention the fantastic response of the staff to take the necessary precautions to keep everyone safe until the details of the situation were clear.
Thank you for a great experience, we'll definitely be back!
Nice bread and food, good service, not cheap but reasonably classy. Good for a quiet lunch or dinner. Nice room - plenty of space between tables.
Superb food and really excellent personal service from every member of the restaurant staff
This place is nice. Swerve the starters (which were a bit samey tasting for us), and head straight for the mains. The meatballs and pizza were excellent. The pasta was average. The rum cake desert was a bit boring, but worth the calories and a decent size for two sharing. The place is small - we were unfortunate with our table which was right in front of the door on a chilly night. Staff dealt with my request to move politely, but it was a no. They had a curtain which I did witness them on a few occasions making sure remained pulled so that the draft didn't get us too much; I appreciated the effort. Nice ambiance for a date night, well lit and music at a good level to hear yourself speak and appreciate the food. Highlight for me was the pizza - worth the hype and would return for that if nothing else.
Really nice Italian restaurant with nice atmosphere. The price was a little more than I would have expected but it's a great place for a date night when you don't mind spending that little extra
