‘O ver comes from the Neapolitan dialect to mean:
We do our best to reflect this with the
Authentic, delicious and healthy Neapolitan street food
we freshly prepare every day
‘O ver uses the unique ingredient of
Pure Sea Water,
which is extracted from the purest areas of the Mediterranean.
Less sodium and more minerals makes the food lighter and easily digestible
All our Pizzas are made with Pure Sea Water, the best artisan ingredients from small Italian producers and finished with organic extra virgin olive oil from Sicily
We only serve Authentic Neapolitan pizza, which is very soft, elastic, tender and fragrant.
Every single dish is made with love and patience by our chefs,
in full respect of Neapolitan tradition
Great service, lovey food!
I found the service very very very slow. It was a date occasion that I indicate on website when I booked. The waiter was really friendly and the atmosphere was good with lights on. We received two cold starters after 20mins ( 3 bruschette and octopus ). We ordered 1 pasta alla bolognese and meatballs. Pasta was not cooked well and the sauce too salty and not tasty. I m Italian and from Naples and my mum is a chef. I was expecting more from this restaurant and from the past positive reviews but definitely I don’t recommend to go to O Ver, very negative experience.
Ps. We asked for the bills and we waited for 15mins before to pay.
One of the best pizzas I've had in London. Service was fantastic and personal, great wine recommendation. Sat outside on a glorious sunny evening. Couldn't have been better.
Great dishes but the fish in particular was excellent.
Charming attentive staff without being obtrusive. Excellent, imaginative food. Great location for the Chocolate Factory. A super
Excellent venue with wonderful friendly happy staff offering excellent authentic Italian food flavour sensations
We would highly recommend a visit to this fantastic restuarant
Excellent fresh and authentic food and great service
A lot of things I like about this new found favourite:
- authentic Italian food;
- cozy and relaxed ambiance;
- location (proximity to London Bridge Station)
- service (greeted by lovely waitress and our waiter was very enthusiastic)
It gets very busy so suggest to book in advance for dinner.
Our second visit here, first time the food was perfect not the same this time round, however the salad with figs and orange dressing was delicious great pizza I was looking forward to desert as the tiramisu was delicious last time but I was highly disappointed as it was served frozen tiny blob on a plate was surprised the chef would serve that. The waiter kindly erased from bill, will try here again. Hopefully not in the basement preferred upstairs
essen war gut, allerdings ist das personal SO aufmerksam, dass es einem immerzu in und auf den teller/glas schaut. das wirkt teilweise eher bedrängend.
An excellent evening with very tasty food and good service.
Absolutely delicious! I got the spaghetti special and my partner got the Bolognese and both were delicious. Don't forget to get the focaccia!
Well I was most surprised by this restaurant! The food was delicious from its interesting menu to the taste. The house white was delicious and the service fantastic. I wish it was closer to my home!
3-4 time visiting. Didn’t realise there was a downstairs area and the table we had for 3 people was sofa chairs on a lower coffee table. Not what I was expecting after previous visiting and seating upstairs. Food was good, some a bit pricey £20 pizza, But good. Will like visit again still for lunch
Superb pasta and great pizza. Good beer selection.
Food was, I would particularly recommend the Naples street food sharing platter and the pasta but the pizza was actually a little greasy, the base thicker than I would have expected and nothing like real Neapolitan pizza. The service was good but a few quite strange moments where a waiter rather aggressively came over to our table to put the bottles of olive oil and balsamic back on their stand. We also ordered a salad that came undressed and the dressing arrived after we had started eating the food. All in all, it was a lovely restaurant and the food was very good but the service let it down so we did feel it was quite pricey for the experience we did get. Hopefully just a one off so we will probably still recommend!
unfortunately i disagree with the reviews on the food: very average in my opinion, 2.5-3 max out of 5. on the positive, I loved the deco, the staff is very nice and the place is lively but quiet at the same time. you can definitely have a nice conversation even when the place is at maximum capacity.
O'ver is fantastic - the ambience is perfect for either a traditional family dinner, or a more intimate occasion.
The saltwater pizza is the best in London, and my colleagues from Naples can atest to the authenticity and execution of the streetfood choices. The menu has more "ooh, I must have that" options than any other I know. I could eat it all happily, which makes selecting a difficult occupation.
What I like most about it, is that the acoustics make the atmosphere lively yet intimate, at times it can feel both secluded and inclusive at the same time.
I can't wait for the new branch to open in the West End, but if you haven't tried it yet I can't recommend it highly enough.
Wonderful hidden gem. Amazing authentic Italian food and wine. Great menu that changes regularly
Great food, service and ambience. But it’s a little pricey for what it is...
My friend and I regularly go to the Chocolate Menier Theatre and have been looking for a reliable restaurant to go to before the shows. O Ver very much fits the bill particularly as my friend only eats the vegetarian options when we go out. Good choice of food on the menu and very pleasant staff.
What a fabulous lunch we had this weekend. Delicious food and wine and fantastic wait staff; thank you for making our day so special.
Really lovely calamari starter! The waiters were very friendly and made us feel very comfortable.
Great little bar downstairs, some lovely choices on the menu and attentive service.
A hidden gem, fantastic food and lovely bar downstairs. We have a wonderful evening. Will definitely be visiting again soon.
Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic attentive service. Pizza very good - just wish we'd asked how much the special was before ordering it...
We would recommend and go again.
By far the best pizza in London. They use sea water and perfectly cook the dough so each pizza is deliciously chewy and flavorful. You'll have a hard time not eating all the crust! Coupled with a warm, prompt wait staff, beautiful wood furniture and candle light, this restaurant is always a delight to visit. They do offer other Italian dishes and consistently know what they're doing in the kitchen and front of the house - highly recommended!
This is a modest Italian restaurant. The food was ok, although the portions seemed very small for the price- we had the pasta dishes. The pizza very wet and soggy in the middle - the person eating it couldn't actually lift up a piece without the topping sliding off onto the plate, although the actual dough around the edge was delicious. We started with cocktails which were very watery - I could hardly taste any alcohol, or anything else much for that matter, and it was so full of ice it quickly just turned into a watered down elderflower squash, so that was disappointing. However, the service was good. But it's an expensive lunch for what we got. No free bread or extras, considering the mains were expensive for what is essentially an unfussy Italian cafe.
Cuisine inventive sans extravagance. Très bon rapport qualité prix.
Everything we ate was superb everything was cooked with quality produce best Italian food I have had in a while. Staff also pleasant and helpful ambiance elegant and cosy, white linen and candles. The only negative is we had to rush as it was 1.30 min sitting. understand it’s busy and they need tables promptly however 2 hours would be fair . We had to rush our desert and Prosecco. For that reason we may not return.
The ambiance was amazing. Felt like we were in Italy. The setting was very cozy and intimate and the food was delicious. Our service was top notch!
Loved it. The food made me extremely happy, the La Genovese pasta was perfect. The design and style is awesome. Great place.
O Ver never lets down
Authentic food, great service and ambience
Unfortunately this time you forgot our salads and I realised after leaving, so I’m not sure if you charged us for them!
Otherwise all perfect
Thoroughly enjoyable evening friendly staff, and delicious authentic food.
Will visit sister restaurant in St James’.
Lovely authentic feel to the restaurant but the food was really disappointing. I had pasta & my partner had a calzone & both were extremely salty, to the point where we couldn't eat any more :( The wait staff, while friendly, were unorganised & seemingly unfamiliar with the menu which left us, at times, confused! For those prices I'd have expected a much more enjoyable overall experience.
Food was extraordinary. Not cheap but worth it
This is the second time I have been here and love it even more, the staff are warm caring and I have already made another booking.
The food is so tasty here i just couldn't get enough
Fun, friendly and delicious. Very enjoyable evening
Very nice meal, staff were all lovely, could have turned the music up a little bit to make it a bit more buzzy as we were eating at 6.30 so was quiet. 2nd time dining here though and would again go back.
