O Ver St James
‘O ver comes from the Neapolitan dialect to mean:
We do our best to reflect this with the
Authentic, delicious and healthy Neapolitan street food
we freshly prepare every day
‘O ver uses the unique ingredient of
Pure Sea Water,
which is extracted from the purest areas of the Mediterranean.
Less sodium and more minerals makes the food lighter and easily digestible
All our Pizzas are made with Pure Sea Water, the best artisan ingredients from small Italian producers and finished with organic extra virgin olive oil from Sicily
We only serve Authentic Neapolitan pizza, which is very soft, elastic, tender and fragrant.
Every single dish is made with love and patience by our chefs,
in full respect of Neapolitan tradition
Lovely group of Italians who run and staff this Neapolitan restaurant---this was our second visit and our waiter remembered us. We asked to switch tables et voila it happened with speed and grace. Excellent dishes and pizza. No hesitation to go back or recommend.
Lekker eten alleen jammer dat alles zo snel achter elkaar kwam.
Great food, intimate atmosphere and very nice service!
I booked a table for my family of three. They put us on a back table in the back corner near a deposit or whatever similar. They didn’t offer anything like a bread to start with. They couldn’t make a gnocchi without tomato sauce and only after insistence could do a butter and cheese pasta for my 10yo daughter. Not really friendly and the pasta was undercooked. An experience not to repeat
Lovely food but very, very rich. The place itself was nice and centrally located. The staff were great - attentive and quick.
What a lovely spot for good food and a comfortable atmosphere. We will back.
Have been looking for sn authentic Italian place in the West End and this is it. Perfect Neapolitan pizza and 8 hour braised meat balls.
Nice restaurant, pleasant service, good location and value for money.
This is a great find! Very interesting and varied menu, delightful staff, nice atmosphere, and very relaxed. The food was very good and we thought that we would certainly return.
Elder was super nice and attentive, his advices were great and we loved the fusillo paolone, a must try! we will go back soon.
from now on my comfort food spot in London! service was super too
no alcohol free options - beer, wine etc.
I mentioned this to the manager who said they were adopting a traditional approach, such as would be found in Naples, so didn't offer non-alcholic beer of wine. This ignores the needs of the increasing non-drinking polatuoion. Alcohol-free options are available in most Italian restaurants - I spend a lot of time there. If tradition is what is aimed for, how does he explain no bread served with the food. This would never happen in an Italian restaurant.
Simply wonderful place in a hidden oasis. The food is authentic and a menu that can make you indecisive. The staff are attentive but not intrusive.
Amazing food, proper Italian and not any of the usual, repetitive stuff. Full of passion and flavour and lovely setting; great cocktails too!
The food was incredible, so authentic and tasty! Good veggie and vegan options, the staff were lovely too. They accidentally messed up my mum’s main course but were so apologetic and quickly rectified their mistake and also gave us a free glass of limoncello at the end of our meal as another apology. Cannot fault the place at all, will definitely be returning!
Great staff! Great food
Very good food, excellent service, large portions, Desserts were the highlight.
Tasty and traditional neapolitan food, nice sharing ideas , very friendly service
This is a great little jewel. Fresh pasta wonderful service. It is an hidden gem, well worth the visit.
I had the mackerel salad, which appeared to be tinned mackerel with a bowl of lettuce, it also had walnuts all over it which was not on the menu and I don't like. The other salad on the menu had walnuts in it so I assume there was some confusionover which salad to put the walnuts, not very inspiring or tasty.
My 3 friends I was with enjoyed their meals.
Good food in a good central location
The staff were very attentive. The food is very good but a bit overpriced for a bowl of pasta. We had a late lunch and there was only one other table occupied, which kept the noise levels down.
Food was okay. Salad was expensive and hardly any filling, mostly salad leaves. Pizza's were fine. Services a bit all over the place, we were asked twice if we wanted dessert, plates werent cleared away quickly.
Best pizzas in London. Great atmosphere and good service. Highly recommended.
Great food, fair portion sizes and excellent setting.
The vegetables were very well prepared, and the sea water focaccia was amazing! Both the pasta and pizza were perfectly cooked and tasty, and the service was very pleasant. Thank you!
Wonderful authentic Neapolitan pizza. Perfect for a pre-theater/theatre dinner.
Fabulous food & service!!
Fantastic food - from pasta, pizza and great Italian produce, though quite pricey.
The best Italian food we have had outside of Italy. The white truffle burrata was amazing as well as the street food selection. Cannot wait to visit again.
super authentic Neapolitan cuisine with few options to please everyone, the staff was super nice and accommodate all our requests, also the ones not very italian, sorry guyyyys, but thanks for the amazing pre theatre dinner.
More than an amazing pizza! A lot of great food selection as well. Very nice atmosphere in central London. 100% recommended!
The service was excellent and I can honestly say I've never had better Italian food in London. Thank you for the great night.
