The steak was dry. No taste.
I enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. The views can’t be beat, so I would suggest going just before sunset so you can have the day and night view. We ordered the ribeye, mashed potatoes, fried squid, and broccoli. We also ordered several cocktails. Everything was delicious.
Great place to celebrate spectacular views, awesome service and delicious food.
We took our son and daughter-in-law to celebrate a pregnancy. Window seating made the views particularly good, but although we lunched early the service was very slow - with 30 minutes before drinks arrived. All the dishes were excellent, particularly the suckling pig and lobster. Good choice of wines (though oddly listed under mysterious categories) but we enjoyed a Priorat and they found us a delicious Chilean wine to replace the Cahors which had sold out.
The food was excellent and the service could not be faulted.
Absolutely amazing food and accommodating service. The experience was flawless.
Read some negative reviews however our experience was second to none!
Attended on 31st of a July for my son’s 21st birthday. Amazing service - staff couldn’t do enough and the atmosphere was perfect as not too austere for my 12 year old. Everyone appeared to be enjoying in the restaurant - easy to stroll and look out - magnificent views and would definitely recommend. The flavours of food were perfect. Something to truly remember
The food is delicious, the service was poor.
We weren’t offered any bread as we sat down and when we asked for some with our starter ( the burratta) when it was served to us we were informed it would be 5 mins before it would arrive. We declined the bread. The wine waiter looked bored and wasn’t particularly friendly. Every time we asked a question another waiter had to be called over, as our server didn’t have the information.
The music was very loud and we struggled to hold a conversation.
A disappointment as we had dined there previously and recommended it our friends we were dining with.
To be honest we won’t rush back, such a shame as the views are incredible, left feeling like they really don’t care about wether you will come back
Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of us during our visit to the Oblix west restaurant. Me and my fiancé booked a table at Oblix to celebrate my birthday on the 25th of July at 9:00 pm. It was the hottest day of the year and I wasn’t feeling very well with my stomach, however I didn’t want to cancel our dinner.
The staff is amazing and very accommodating. They took extra care of me during our dinner even if it was extremely busy night and the restaurant was full. The service was above and beyond our expectations. I would like to thank both of the girls that took care of me as well as the rest of the staff that they were so kind and helpful and made sure that I was feeling ok.
The food was LOVELY! We had couple of starters and side dishes to share and for main courses we had wild mushroom orzo pasta and the sirloin steak. We also had drinks and dessert.
Overall we had a great dinner with one of the the best views in London and your staff helped to make it that way. We will definitely go back and we really appreciate all of your hard work and kind consideration.
Great views and good food spoiled by being asked to move tables between our main course and dessert
Hola, llegamos para restaurante y esta todo muy elegante la comida es buena los tragos excelente!
Best service with top quality food! Will definitely come here again!
The food and drinks were great but the service was really slow and unattentive.
Great service and view. Should have gone when it got dark
Sun was a problem while eating
Our food was over cooked which the chef agreed however the service was another level offering us discounts on the duck and free desserts for us both
They also moved us to a window seat as soon as one came available so ended up being a perfect date
It was a fantastic experience!
Afternoon tea was lovely. But after seeing some of the entrees that came out, I definitely need to come back for lunch or dinner! Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Oblix Signature menu is great!!
Birthday meal with friends great evening not to busy wonderful food excellent service great wine
Great food, great service, great views, would go again.
It was our anniversary. The restaurant is good about making you feel special. The service is great because so many people tend to you. Service is always around without being a pest. They took photos of us we’ll cherish. The view and decor are phenomenal. The restaurant is very chic.
My boyfriends birthday
Everything was amazing! One of the best meals and experiences we’ve ever had. Tremendous teamwork from everyone starting with being greeted to served right up until the end of the meal. Highly recommend that everyone visit at 🌅 sunset! Thank you Oblix West!
It was my friend's birthday and Oblix have been very helpful in ensuring us a great celebration dinner. The duck was amazing and we had no complaints on all the dishes we tried. The view was great.
Really great meal. Quality food & service and unparalleled views
Really enjoyed the food, but service took forever. It took a very long time to get every course and the check and it wasn't completely packed either. Altogether, I think it's pricey for what you get but a good thing to do once for the views. We went fairly early on a weekday and not in peak tourist season
If you like: high noise levels with terrible acoustics; expensive dinners like you're in a conveyor belt of diners all crammed in; a view over London that you're very unlikely to get (if this is what you're hoping for, only a lucky few get to sit by the window); a vegetarian meal that only offers two options of pasta and pasta (come on, Oblix - you can do better than that); a waiter that lacks charisma, barely says a word in acknowledgement of a polite request (more of a grunt), crashes into your chair as he rushes around like a madman and forgets that you asked him for your bill... if you like all of the above, then go for it and jolly good luck to you!
Overcrowded place, not respectfull if jacket is cheap brand, few glass of water 5pounds, ceaser salad is -> not cutted leawes with bread cuts in olive oil, and its all.. dish like for pigs, dishes are used by time and scraped, noise level is to high for that price places, good view, every time somebody passes along back of your chair
Das Lokal war sehr laut. Das Fleisch war nicht richtig heiß. Der Fisch war sehr gut. Gruß aus der Küche fehlte.
I visited Oblix West to celebrate a birthday. We were very well looked after and the food was good. The key benefit of this restaurant is the view, of course, which was amazing. Overall, a very enjoyable evening.
It was a special occasion my wife’s birthday and I’d booked a table to celebrate this. We were greeted quite coldly and shown to a counter facing the window. I asked if this was just until our table was ready but we’re told no this was what I had booked. When I booked the table there was no option for counter or table so I assumed what I had booked was a table. We enquired if there was in fact a table available with four separate members of staff but none of them returned with an answer. The last person informed us that unless there was a cancellation then there wouldn’t be a table available. We decided to wait for 10 minutes or so and hopefully there might be a cancellation but decided to cut our losses and go when the blinds were pulled down obliterating the the view we had of the sun setting. We ended up in a much friendlier restaurant where there was proper customer service.
Overall, Oblix was an experience and the view from the restaurant was spectacular so I can see why many people would come here. However, for a Monday evening I felt the service could be better especially charging 13.5%. I didn't feel the every waiter were welcoming, there were some nice waiters but some looked like they didn't want to be there.
Service was superb and the food was delicious.
Excellent view of St Pauls.
Best to go as it is light and then turning to night time. Best of both worlds.
As is often the way, vegetarian options in top restaurants are very limited and very bland, particularly disappointing when you are paying top money! My husband enjoyed his food more than I did although my starter was delicious. The pasta maincourse really wasn’t exceptional by any means and was expensive for what it was. I’m blessed to have a good cook for a husband and his food is significantly more tasty but mainly due to making effort in providing something with flavour and thought put into it. Service was fine and naturally we would have preferred a window view but understand not everyone can have the best views! Pleasant evening but wouldn’t rush back!
Excellent experience from start to finish! The service was very efficient and quick. The food was superb, from the starters (we had the wonderful Truffle flatbread and Burrata) to the main course (we had Bone in rib-eye quite excellent). The sommelier was extraordinary good!
Great experience and food! Would definitely go back!
At the entrance we were met by two charming welcoming greeters, shown to the panoramic "east" bar area where we were able to select our drinks and relax whilst taking in the views from a comprehensive listing; later we were ushered to the restaurant area on the west side. The menu selections (starters, mains, & dessert) suited us perfectly, the views were great, and the waiting staff were attentive without being intrusive. We had a most enjoyable lunch and our visit was thoroughly enjoyable - definitely recommended.
View is the less best of the three Oblix restaurants. Food is Ok but not above average standard. Service is too industrialised.
I would recommend the two other restaurants on the same floor.
It was good. We had a window which was nice for the special occasion.
Was great service from Becky and some good food! Best view!
