A small locally owned restaurant where great food is paired with great wine.
O’Briens Bistro is one of the few restaurants in Pensacola truly owned and operated by the chef!
Our menu items are just some of the flavor combinations we have created. Our kitchen staff will try to accommodate menu changes or requests you may have. Our goal is if the ingredients are on the pages of our menu, we can cook it your way, well, of course, within reason!

Food was excellent! We had Mixed Grill and Shrimp & Scallop Risotto. Wonderful experience and we will definitely go back.
It was our first time there but it won’t be the last! Great food (crab cakes were divine!), lovely selection of wine, and the ambiance was perfect!
Valentine's dinner, very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable waiter, background music was exactly that - in the background and not so we would have to shout over it to hear each other (very refreshing!) Food was very good as always.
We had a very nice dining experience. There are so many items to choose from from appetizers, main course, and deserts. Our server Ryan was prompt and treated us very well.
O'brian's Bistro is one of our go-to quality restaurants and I've never had a bad meal there. The food is always great as is the service. Ambience is their problem. It's a fairly small place that just plain needs a remodel! Also a bit disappointed in their drink menu (there is a wine menu but no drink menu).

Amazing as always! They never disappoint
We had a great server, great food and great ambience until a party of 12 came in and was seated next to us. They were so loud we could not even talk across the table. In fact, there were two parties of 12 in the little room we were in. In the future they should not seat smaller tables in the room with big parties ever! And we even had a reservation, so you would think we would have gotten a better table.
Food not as good as our last visit a month ago. Scallop appetizers seemed precooked, dried out, not fresh. My chicken picatta was very dry. Service was great, drinks and salads and soups all good. Very busy night, which is great.

3 different brunches and all 3 delicious. We highly recommend.
The food at O’Brien’s Bistro is always good. I only had one complaint and that is with the potato’s served with the 4oz filet. They were lumpy and and didn’t seem fresh. The filet and steamed vegetables were very good.
Our 1st time was great. Daniel was our server and very knowledgeable. Not only telling us about the nightly special but other specials that they had available throughout the week; such as their Sunday brunch. Definitely will come back again. I had the blue cheese flank steak and my husband had the surf and turf; highly recommend those.
We always enjoy eating at O,Briens whether it be for lunch or for dinner. There is always a great atmosphere at O'Briens and the and the environment is outstanding. The food is always impeccable and the wait staff is always very professional and outstanding. I wolud say this one of our favorite places for lunch or dinner.
Restaurant noise level is high. Rolls and butter for the table was tasteless. Missed the mark on a good char on my pork chop and wife's steak. Shrimp and scallops looked and tasted bland and just run under water to thaw. All in all a disappointment. Service was slow as well.
New Year’s Eve dinner. Food was very good. Service was good except the way it was not wearing a mask which made us uncomfortable. But otherwise he did a great job. It’s a casual restaurant but it has serve an elegant feel to it. Definitely place we go back to

This is our second time at O'Brien's Bistro . It was an awesome time. We came to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. The food was excellent. Our Waiter was top of the line. He even went so far as to have the Chef whip up a delicious dessert for us. In a year that has been as crazy as this one it was really nice the way the evening played out. As I stated before the food was excellent. While the portions at first didn't seem a lot, by the time we finished we were full. I would honestly recommend this restaurant to anyone who would like a nice night out.

Date night dinner. This is our go to place! Relaxing and the food is always superb! I had the sirloin special and it was absolutely delicious with mushroom risotto and asparagus! Yum!!

Have eaten here many times and never disappointed. Food is great whether fish or beef. Always filling and never felt we were paying more that what we expected. Can dress casual or more dressy. Very comfortable atmosphere with nice service
This is a great place for good food and atmosphere. If you don't start out with the crab cake appetizer you have missed a wonderful opportunity. After that, the salad is very good and the entrees are excellent (it just takes a little time to figure out which one you can't live without). The servers are well trained, provide a good pace of service and are very attentive. Definitely on my "we'll be back" list.

A Friday night favorite!
They never disappoint!! We’ve been going there for about 3-4 months since we just moved here. You can have anything from simple dishes to gourmet dishes. Dan is an amazing server and our go to server. However, all the servers are top notch. Give them a try, I promise you won’t be disappointed 😊
