   This restaurant has it all. Excellent food, a great location, 10/10 service and waiting staff. Despite being 2 hours late because of traffic, they held my table as it was my wife's birthday. They made sure our children were looked after and nothing was a problem. Even got a happy birthday song! If you're a fan of seafood and great service, this is the place to be.

   Lovely evening to mark a family birthday. Setting is beautiful particularly on a sunny evening watching the sun disappear beyond the river. Food was very good, hake outstanding. Service was OK, though server seemed inexperienced but we would go back. Thanks Ocean Basket Kingston !😃

   My wife and I were warmly welcomed by Cosmina who showed us to our table by the window with a view of the river which made us feel comfortable and relaxed. We both ordered zucchini in bread crumbs and fish and chips from the Silver surfer menu. The meals were served promptly piping hot and were very enjoyable. The service given to us was very polite and professional. the price was very reasonable and we will be returning there in the near future.

   Generally the experience and the food was good, and good value for money, however on this occasion, unfortunately the prawns were soft/mushy which is not what you expect from a seafood restaurant. We had combo’s of prawns, calamari and fish, and when one of the servings on a dish is not good then it kinda spoils the whole dish. That said, on the whole it’s a nice restaurant.

   We enjoyed a delicious and relaxing dinner (and drinks) at Ocean Basket, Kingston. The service was hit and miss at times (sometimes too focused on cleaning tables - 2 staff) Vs keeping an eye on us trying to get waiter attention. But other than that... the atmosphere, views over the river and quality of food was pretty good.

   Always good food and excellent enthusiastic service, fresh bread and dips while you think are amazing. Food is perfectly cooked and laid out on the plate in an orderly and appealing way.

    Very pleasant staff showed us to our table and returned two or three minutes later and asked if we were ready to order, had only time to select the wine, fortunately we had selected our meal while viewing online. Ordered two starters of whitebait and two single platters one with rice and one without. Sometime later waitress arrived with the main course and we had to explain that we had yet to receive our starter. When only one starter arrived we then had to explain that we had ordered two. The second starter arrived with apologies and to enjoy with their compliments. When the mains again arrived instead of one without rice, both had rice. Could not by this time be bothered to point this out. After we finished our meal we ordered coffee to be told this was not available as the machine was broken. As this was our first time at this restaurant with great expectations for the evening and whilst the staff were very pleasant, we were sadly disappointed with the overall experience and will not be returning.
