It was ok. Nothing like my first experience

Great place to eat

Trent was our amazing server. We were two friends who had not had an in person visit in ages. We lingered over cocktails, wine and an incredibly prepared dinner. The timing of everything was terrific.

This restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Walker our server at the bar was pleasant and helpful. And our server at our table, Leo, was efficient, and knowledgeable. Our food was absolutely delicious! This is one wonderful restaurant in Chicago. We look forward to returning again and again.

I had a Saturday dinner with my mom at Ocean Prime. We were there for the restaurant week menu. Some restaurants immediately get snippy with you when you ask for the restaurant week menu, but our waitress didn't bat an eye. It is a very nice restaurant without being stuffy. The food was delicious the glass of wine was a was affordable and the pour was substantial. There were also covid precautions in place. We went because of Chicago Restaurant Week, but would return in the future just for the regular menu.

Food was mediocre at best. I would recommend other establishments for food. Ambiance and location great. The valet are is a proverbial zoo. I personally don’t need to go back.

The service was amazing and very tentative. Every part of our dinner was brought out with perfection. Beautiful views of the city while sitting in the rich ambiance. Everything was tastefully perfect and delicious.

Group of 4 all took advantage of restaurant week special menu. A great value for 3 course meal. Food was great and our server, Charley, was exceptional. So nice to enjoy a nice steak dinner at a great restaurant again.

I ordered a medium well ribeye steak and received a well done burnt steak

I also ordered a lemon drop that was utterly disgusting this was not top shelf liquor at all. Service was great food not so much!

Came for restaurant week. They put all the black people in the back of the restaurant and had a manager watching over all of the tables like security. I’ve never been more uncomfortable in my life. This is my 4th time dining at Ocean Prime and my second time at their Chicago location. I felt racially profiled. Our waitress kept referring to us as girls instead of ladies or addressing us as ma’am. Restaurant etiquete needs to be retrained.

The food was fantastic and the service was great. But when we asked to move to a table with a view, which was open and no one was sitting there, nor did they seat that table the entire time we were, they said no due to it being VIP.

The smoking seafood tower was so fun and delicious. We had the twin lobster tails for entrée. Best lobster I've ever had! Our waitress Jessica was friendly and attentive.

We had an amazing experience at Ocean Prime Chicago. We stopped in during restaurant week and had an amazing three course meal for a great price. Our waiter is the BEST waiter I’ve ever had in my lifetime of dining out and he made our weekend with his service and smile. Thank you Ocean Prime Chicago for having the best staff and most beautiful dining experience in Chicago.

Brandy gave us attentive and warm, but not overbearing, service on our first in-house restaurant meal in a year (the gap due to COVID). The blackened snapper was her recommendation and it was as flavorful as she promised, with a tasty corn spoon bread accompaniment. The scallops were also delicious. We will definitely be going back.

The inside was very chic and modern. All of the staff was very friendly and our waiter was great. There were unique and refreshing cocktails. We dined during restaurant week and got the 3 course. (I had the French onion soup, scallops and carrot cake) It was a great value and the food was outstanding! We will definitely be back.

The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming for a girls night or romantic date. There's a very nice view of upper Wacker and the river from the window tables. The food was very good each time and the waitstaff are amazing. Love this restaurant!

A really great experience. Celebrating my mother’s birthday and it was well noted. She felt special and that was important. Additionally, our server Darren, was attentive, kind and professional. Our food was hot, delicious (lobster tails, scallops, etc) and we never had to go long without Darren reappearing. Honestly, the staff is also great. Our second time here and look forward to returning.

Our server, Trent was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and made great suggestions through out the evening. He was kind enough to take our picture and made a suggestion to take one at the fireplace.

It was our anniversary and we were given a complimentary dessert, of our choose, and two glasses of champagne. It was a very nice surprise.

Dinner was very nice. The steaks and the sides were delicious. We had oysters on the half shell for our appetizer and they were very fresh and tasted amazing. Our drinks were also very good.

I had a fantastic experience at Ocean Prime. The food was outstanding and the ambience was very classy. I look forward to coming back for another great experience.
