I love this restaurant, the food was great very clean
Good Seafood. Small drinks for price. Fee for bread with dinner. Small Appetizers, not really sharable for more than 2 people. Paying for Location. Waiter seemed uninterested in serving us.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience at Oceanaire - from the service to the food, everything exceeded our expectations. We particularly enjoyed our friendly waiter who checked in with us throughout.

I was very excited about going to this restaurant for the first time. We decided to try the dine out menu for a better deal but were disappointed. Haddock was over cooked and dry. Steak was asked to be prepared rare and came medium. Our waiter was serving the other side of the restaurant so it took a while for him to come back to us and whenever he did it was to just drop plates or drinks we had ordered a while ago, no checking on how anything was. It was too late to ask for a new steak by the time he came back. Not his fault the since the place was definitely over seated for the amount of waiters but just an overall bad experience. Would not go back.

Way overpriced, small portions, food was undercooked and not hot. I have always had great experiences at Oceanaire, this was very disappointing. I probably won't go back.
I will start from the very beginning and I have to say, for all the servers that prejudge people, your BEST bet would be to assume that ALL people know what they’re talking about unless they ask for your recommendation.
A server asked us if we wanted sparkling or reg water. I chose reg for my husband & sparkling for me and our daughter. He filled my husband’s glass right away, then walked away. Figured he’d be back in a min or two with some Pellegrino.
Our server Raquael came over. We ordered drinks. I ordered my daughter’s entree first but said that my husband and I would be having apps first. He walks away to put her order in. We call him back over as we wanted to order some apps. He did not come back over and said, “I’m putting your daughter’s order in, be right back....” He pops the order into a computer right behind us. Odd that he would walk away after only taking my daughter’s order.
He comes back and my husband proceeds to say what oysters he wants when Raquael interrupts him to tell us which ones are the best. He then says, “So you want 6, right? The price you see is per oyster....,” and I’m like, yes we are aware of the pricing. We asked for bread and he said, “it’s 3.50, it isn’t free.” Like, really?!!!
My & my daughter’s water glasses were never filled so we mentioned it & he said, “no one told me you ordered sparkling water.” We ordered our entrees, salmon Louie for me & steamed Maine lobster for my husband. I asked for a side of asparagus. Raquael tells me that my entree comes with a couple of asparagus. I said, “It doesn’t say that on the menu, it says whipped mash,” but he insists it does.
The servers brought us the wrong order & tried to put it on our table twice after we told them it was not our order! Then our order comes and lo and behold, no asparagus. I bring it to R’s attention and he tells me he mixed up the mashed potato with asparagus. No apologies. Nothing.
We will not be returning. Very disappointing service for what we paid.

I tried to do 5 star, for some reason the system it not letting me do 5 star. The services were excellent.
It was a good experience! Our waiter Enrique was so sweet! We reserved a table and had to wait. The restaurant was very busy because of restaurant week but the wait wasn’t a bad. The only problem I had was where they sat us, which was at the end of an isle, were guests and waitstaff used to walk through the restaurant. I’d call ahead of time to see if you can be placed in a less passed area. Overall, a very nice experience!

The server I had was not the best. He disappeared for periods of time and a lot of the items we ordered did not make it to our table. The food was amazing but the service was by far my worst experience

Amazing! We only did seafood apps. The Jumbo shrimp cocktail was so delicious and the crab cocktail was really meaty! We also had oysters which tasted so fresh. The ambiance was nice and calm with help of lighting and easy listening music! We really enjoyed our time
I ordered the crab cakes and although they were tasty, they were room temperature. My wife ordered the halibut and it was excellent.
Dine here many times, amazing service and Ambience. Staff are amazing and attentive.

We think it might be the best seafood restaurant in Boston. This outlet of Landry’s national high end seafood chain lived up to the hype. The scallop casino was incredible. The simply prepared halibut was even better. Good portion and perfectly cooked.
Great to be back, after a year of not being able to visit the food, service, and ambiance is still spot ON!!

We were in the smaller room off the main dining room and that was great for us. We had salmon and halibut, with asparagus and has browns sides. Sooooo good!

We for my birthday, the food and drinks was amazing
I brought someone there for her birthday and asked the hostess to bring a dessert, and She said they had an amazing dessert they could do were they set something on fire… but then they never brought it. I think the waiter was the only waiter for all of us, although there weren’t that many parties because of the pandemic. But sad that they forgot that.
We had a wonderful meal and a wonderful server. The ambiance is phenomenal.
