Good food and service. The toilets are being refurbished so a single hotel room had been put aside for use as a toilet. Really could have benefitted from a second room being brought into use. Otherwise all very good.

The restaurant is a nice space and the food was very good. The service wasn’t that great and we didn’t feel very welcome. The staff were young and inexperienced and one of them was quite unfriendly. It’s a shame there wasn’t a more welcoming maître’d. it’s not a cheap restaurant so needs good quality staff

Very good meal, 5 different dishes ordered The blue cheese sauce was a big hit from 2 of the group Pumpkin pasta hit with another Cornfeed chicken very nice too Staff happy to help,

Had two main courses the pie of the week which was chicken leek and ham with mash which my wife said was delicious I had the steak sandwich which was made with sirloin and cheese with skin on fries, which was just perfect.

Both the staff that waited on us were so friendly and put up with our jokes.... The food was so good. My husband had the pizza with the pine nuts on, he is not easy to please, and he has not stopped commenting on how good it was... I would definitely recommend it to others.

This was a post business meeting lunch of 5 people, week day lunchtime and the restaurant was very quiet. The service wasnt speedy, the food did take a good while to arrive but it was freshly cooked so worth the wait. The restaurant/cafe is clean and basic but welcoming. The menu is very good and the food on both occasions we have eaten there has been above average. Value for money it is pub prices or higher but no complaints.
