Everything we tried was delicious and interesting. Would definitely recommend every dish we had. The bbq skewers, roti with eggplant, chicken wings, oxtail, calamansi pie… really loved all of it. Service was swift and kind!

First, having a Filipino restaurant that exceeded your expectations was so nice! We came here early and were welcomed by the hostess who offered us to check out the bar while seated; not even 10 mins she accommodated us. While waiting, we met Chef Harold. I watched the chef from BBQ Brawl and wanted to meet him and try his food. He shook our hand and welcomed us. Oyster 10/10, the sauces were spot on. Chicken chicharron (drools): 10/10, as always! Pork skewers: 10/10; my husband loves them. Pak-pak sinigang: 10/10. Pancit: 9/10. Kare-Kare: 8/10. Halo-Halo (mix-mix), my husband devours it 10/10. And, of course, complimentary birthday Matcha Ice cream. Thank you, Ms. Ally; you're knowledgeable, attentive, and valuable! The crew works so well together! We can't wait to come back 😄.

Not a bad place by any means, but I expected to like it more. I loved Ah Sing Den (the restaurant/bar that was located there before), so I thought this place would be a cool replacement. Although the food was decent, it certainly didn't warrant the prices. The drinks are fun and good- would maybe return for that and the Halo-Halo dessert, but those too were pretty expensive. Unfortunately, I have to say this place is overhyped. Try it for yourself if you're really dying to, but I'm here to tell you there's nothing to die for here.

Walked in and Isaiah Rashad was playing and I instantly knew the vibe was right. Started off ordering the lemongrass and the coffee cocktail and they were both very tasty. Munched on the wings, lumpia, and beef empanadas first and the wings were out of bounds. The lumpia didn't knock my socks off and the beef empanadas were ok, but the mango chutney it came with was delicious and made up for it. Next up was the Pancit Canton noodles and it was the star of the meal, I wish I had a tamarind dusted lime to top every meal with. We went with the Bistec and Adobong for entrees and they were both incredible. Wish the pork in the Adobong had more meat and less fat but the sauce was to die for. The bone marrow sauce on the Bistec was very umami and the roti came in handy to mop up all of the leftover sauce. Service was immaculate as well. Will for sure be coming back very soon.

Moved from Cali to TX several years ago and have been searching for a good Filipino restaurant in ATX. Oko did not disappoint, and I definitely have some pretty high expectations as I am from the Philippines. We had several orders of the manok (chicken skewers), lumpia, bistek and chicken & pork adobe with garlic rice and for dessert we had the halo halo and flan. Everything was excellent but definitely our favorite was the tender and flavorful bistek and the juicey chicken skewers with the various sauces and the halo halo ice cream dessert. Also, their garlic rice is the best. A little sticky and sweet like good sushi rice. Don't come if you are on a budget because you will want to try everything. Service was excellent.

Some of the best food I’ve had in Austin… and I think our restaurants are pretty overrated usually.

Had a group of 7 and all of us were very satisfied with this place. The food and drinks were so good! I wish I could give it a 4.5 though—the music level too loud and we could barely hear each other let alone the waiter. Aside from that, loved everything about it!!! Definitely worth a visit!

Really enjoyed our time here, the service and ambiance was excellent. The food was very good, the ox tail kare kare and wings were delicious but a bit oily. Will definitely come back and it has a great location for getting some drinks before or after.

We had reservations at 630 but I guess the couple before us didn’t leave yet. Evidently they assign you a seat and while other seats at the bar and restaurant were open they wouldn’t sit us. We waited about 10-15 minutes past our reservation time and asked and they then moved us though told us we would now have to leave early. Apparently you get 90 minutes per reservation. So odd considering the other couple wasn’t asked to leave after there allotted time. I don’t understand why considering how small this restaurant is that they would have us just standing and hovering over the bar seats waiting for a couple to leave instead of just offer us open seats elsewhere. Once we were sat, service was great and food was spectacular highly recommend just ask they figure out this reservation part better considering the size of the restaurant.
