Old Stove Pub
The Old Stove Pub is a Hamptons Classic Steakhouse. Originally opened in 1967 as a Pub, then in 1969 The Old Stove Pub transformed into a Greek Restaurant and Steakhouse. The Old Stove Pub has been closed for several years and completed extensive renovations and restoration. Re-opened in July of 2020, the Old Stove Pub is now considered one of the best restaurants in the Hamptons, not only for the food, but for extensive outdoor dining space.
The New Menu is a tribute to some of the original dishes at the Old Stove Pub and new original cuisine featuring fresh salads, fish, steaks.

Great service and food
The food was cooked perfect. The Prosciutto Breakfast Sandwich is great as well as the Pub Burger ( brunch).
What a charming place. The staff was wonderful. The food was delicious. It’s nice to go to a restaurant and feel your at home
Glad to see somewhere different for Sunday Brunch. Nice friendly staff. The Irish waiter was great. The omelette was over cooked and lacked flavor. The drink prices were extortionate. Think $22 or $24 for a Bloody Mary?! It’s like they’re just seeing how absurd they can make the price. Sadly it’s put me off going back.
Thank you for coming to the Old Stove Pub. We love our Brunch and I am so sorry....The price for Bloody Mary is incorrect. We offer drink specials for Brunch. Please contact us so we can issue you a credit.
Nice environment, good service...food just wasn’t that great and way overpriced for portion and quality delivered.
An old favorite, now a new favorite! Go soon and eat outside!
This was my first time here under new ownership but it won’t be my last. I heard it was a cool place and my visit there Saturday night confirmed that
Owner Joe DeCristofaro and his team have created a wonderful setting to enjoy great fare.
The place is cute and nice to sit outside, but the prices were astronomical for what it is. The service was mediocre...again considering the prices. We a table of 4, who dined in under 2 hours, had 3 drinks ($24/each) and came out to $640.00. Have had many local meals for half that. Wanted to check out the place as its a bit of an iconic venue, but will not be going back anytime soon...sorry to say.
We went for dinner to Old Stove Pub and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is amazing and the food was delicious! Try their cocktails - they are very tasty and unique! It is a family friendly restaurant but also great for a night out with friends or for a date night. We will definitely be coming back for more yummy food, good cocktails and great atmosphere!
My friend was very disappointed that the moussaka which is on the online menu was not available at this restaurant which now has new owners since summer 2020. My other friend was whining that she didn't want to sit outside despite the flaming heat towers. So we sat in the front room where there were no other tables but ours. I felt safer in there than i would have in the main restaurant. The food was not good at all but our waiter was very good. I ordered the appetizer with hummus, tzatziki, and babaganoush. The hummus and tzatziki were terrible. I can't remember the last time I ate those somewhere and thought they were terrible. I didn't eat the babaganoush because I don't like eggplant but my friend did. Not sure what she thought. We shared the zucchini fries which quickly became cold and limp. Our waiter with the Irish accent was very good and very friendly. I will not return to this restaurant. Glass of rose was $20 and food prices high. And the food we ordered was not good.
Very welcoming owner and maitre d. Waitress sweet but inexperienced
Food was nothing to write home about -way overpriced for the quality
I recommended old stove pub to my friends- I am always a little nervous when I suggest a restaurant- my friends loved it ! They said that I did a good job lol 😄 we all look forward to our next dinning experience at old stove pub
Food,Service, ambiance and heating lamps all as close to perfect as it can be. Can’t wait to come back
The most disappointing meal in a while. Zucchini was soggy and greasy - cauliflower gratin was a pile of mush and we were in and out in 45 min -they could not have rushed us through any faster! I asked for ground pepper for my $48 lamb chops and they brought me a plastic thing from the supermarket. It was so loud I couldn’t hear a thing and I love lively places! We left without dessert on my birthday.
They charge $40 for a Mccallan 12 year old scotch. Never seen a price more than half that rich in an ordinary setting.
Most enjoyable dinner experience in a long time.
Food was great. Service was lacking. Over staffed and walking aimlessly without paying attention to the few customers seated
The cost is on the high side for rather pedestrian food. The cheese appetiser is unique but nothing else was...The drinks were very high priced for what they were as well as the glass of wine and the bottle of water. I know that this is the Hamptons and that this is the peeriod of the COVID 19 but one should not take advantage of it...The location is quite pleasant but this is not NICK and TONI's but the prices are the same and the food is not...
Great meal, great experience, sat outside, service and food were excellent.
Loved the ambiance and the live music
The food was very plain and the portions were small. Very disappointed with the food
Great Greek oriented menu, outdoor music was a nice touch. First time there will def return!
Sat outside and enjoyed live music with dinner. Service was good and food was fresh and tasty. The evening was chilly and we are not dining indoors at this time. They could use a few more heat lamps as we head into fall.
Food was excellent. We ordered the wagyu steak and jumbo shrimp and both were delicious. Portions aren’t large, but that’s ok given the high quality. Food is priced at normal hamptons pricing and is worth it relative to other restaurants. It’s true what other reviewers have written, that drinks are on the pricier side - probably $5 over priced on average, even compared to high end restaurants, but the service and food made up for that.
Comfort food carefully prepared, a touch of Greece, but really just good, straightforward cooking with fine ingredients.
What a thrill that this landmark restaurant has been resurrected, refreshed and reimagined into an even better version of itself! The outdoor dining is so lovely we really hope the village will allow the restaurant to continue it even post-pandemic. The management is top rate and our servers so attentive and friendly. Food was soooo good
The evening was beautiful and the outdoor seating with propane heater was delightful. Paying $24 for a martini was a definite negative and the food was decent but not special.
We were offered water but did not realize we would be charged $12. The grilled salmon was raw even though we requested medium to well done. After the meal I had extremely bad stomach cramps so I believe there was something wrong with the food. The cheapest glass of wine was $20 and many of the guests had to sit at picnic tables which is crazy considering the cost of the meal.
We went several times throughout the summer as this quickly became our #1 choice. Delicious food options including sushi dishes and excellent sake and cocktails all around. The customer service was unmatched and the owner is extremely hands on as the host with the most. Great spot. Can’t wait to be back.
Lovely setting. Wonderful food.
Had the sushi which was very good. Nice spot outdoors. Could use extra staff.
Beautiful outdoor dining experience!
Great spot, food menu was nice. Service was slow and not very attentive. Drink prices were expensive, even for the Hamptons!
After 70 minuets I joked about a nightcap or leaving if they wanted the table. They took the table! Serious? I have been once a week every week and before it was popular... that will end when the “summer only” people leave.
The quality of the food was very good. However, drink prices are ridiculous. $26 for a glass of Rosé is outrageous. There were a few choices in red and white for $22 and a Chardonnay for $18. The majority of the wines by the glass were over $20. I didn’t even order a glass as I cannot in good conscience spend that much money on a glass of wine. If priced reasonably, I certainly would have had a glass or two as would my husband. He started with a martini priced at$22. There is no bread served and nothing additional with the entree. It’s an additional charge fir a side if vegetables. I understand it’s COVID but no dessert and coffee or tea as well. That I have no issues with. All in all, a decent meal but way overpriced.
Great location...overpriced...small portions...inattentive service.
Wine list extremely overpriced...
Staff is super nice.
Ambiance is relaxing and the setting is great.
Although the staff is nice , the service is sloppy with regard to getting needed utensils, drinks and the likes. If they are going for a pub feel, no problem but I’m glad to pay $80 for a futmaki
The live music was a great touch but the food was basic and not great quality.
Summer 2020 great place, live music, amazing sushi
There was live music outside & it was really great! Awesome crowd. Love the social distancing precautions they follow. Definitely a must if your visiting the Hamptons :)
