    The food was good and tasty but I wouldn’t say extraordinary. What I found it was exceptional is customer service. So attentive and helpful. Overall we had enjoyable night !

    I really enjoyed the atmosphere of Old Wharfe. I had the beef cheeks and they were delicious. The staff were fantastic and very professional. My only disappointment was the online booking. I tried to change the booking as one of the guests couldn't make it. It wouldn't let me change the number of guests. I then tried to phone the restaurant to make the change but there is no direct phone line. But this was only a small issue and overall I really loved my night out.

    Oysters and prawns were fantastic. Beef cheek was dry which was unfortunate. They gave us complimentary bubbles for my partners birthday. Service is great

    Food was good with an excellent exceptional service. We were keen on a Feed Me but were a little disappointed that chef could not carter vegetarian options for one of us so we ended up ordered from alacarte. Overall was excellent.

    Service was awful. Ate here one year ago and it was much better then. This year the servers didn't know who ordered what, they didn't pour the wine, it was difficult to get their attention, etc.

    Friendly service and good food, the feed me option is great value and gives you 6 courses including dessert. Make sure to check out the Story bar next door for pre dinner drinks

    Very good menu with lots of local ingredients in food and beverage selection. Very relaxed atmosphere, good service and plenty of explanations of food. The local seafood was excellent and Tasmanian wines a good tasting opportunity. I particularly enjoyed the prawn cocktail entree, the freshest crispest prawns ever.

    From the moment we arrived the service was great. We had a cocktail prior to going into the restaurant and Alex was very welcoming. His service was great. Once entering the restaurant we were professionally greeting and it was acknowledged that it was a birthday celebration for my niece. Mandy who looked after us was amazing, very friendly, caring and knowledgeable about the options. It was great for a special celebration and we really enjoyed it.

    Food was just ok. Not what we expected given the price and the look and feel. Food came quickly but otherwise service was a bit slow considering most tables were empty by that time (later sitting).

    My wife and I went to the restaurant for a quiet, intimate dinner which we thoroughly enjoyed. The ambience of the restaurant is excellent. The food was exceptional and the staff more than friendly and very obliging. Would strongly recommend for a romantic dinner.

    Unfortunately we did not have a good experience. The food was okay but expensive, the staff were great but were run off their feet. They were turning people away cause they simply could not cater for anymore even though they were not full.

    This restaurant misses the mark. While it could be a fine dining establishment given the location there is much to improve on. The Menu has an option called 'Feed Me' which is indicative. Perhaps 'Chef's Inspirations' might deliver a bit more care in presentation and flavour. Staff, while attentive, knew little about the dishes or just placed them down without explanation. On the up side the wine list is reasonable.

    Great table with a view of the harbour. Food was good but octopus was overcooked and rubbery. Service was friendly and attentive.
