Nice atmosphere. Very good food and service. Great value for money. Well worth a visit. Going back next week!
Was to be our pre Christmas meal as we were on our own this year. No Christmas fayre on menu and tables set for evening had crackers and party hats, we had nothing. Will not bother again.
Excellent food, piping hot and plenty of it. Friendly staff who make you feel welcome and provide excellent service.
As YOU cancelled my booking for 29 May (ref 378) how can you have the audacity to ask me for feedback!!
Starter was ok, main meal we ordered belly port which was rubbery on top and in every mouth we have ligaments. For pudding with ordered tarts tatin which has raw pastry. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone I know! After our main meals we complained and they ignored us!!!
We had booked, we arrived late and were seated at 8.30pm. Service was great; attentive but not over the top. Food was delicious both from the Children’s and the Main Menu. We would eat there again.
Food lukewarm, felt we were left to see to ourselves the whole time, expensive for the quality of food and the amount of meat and vegetables available
This was a last minute decision and what a fabulous find it was. Fantastic food at great value for money we loved it so much we are going back on the 10 March
Good food and service. Great value for money.
Service was leisurely, but we weren’t in a hurry so this was fine. We had the lunch club menu. The food choice and quality was excellent . Good portion sizes. Exceeded our expectations. Well worth a visit.
great meal and made to feel welcome. senior member of staff very efficient and accommodating.
Have had lots of lunches here , we always bring family and friends for lunch. Nice and relaxing. It’s very close to our home , very good value for money, and the soup is always particularly great . We have attended the Diwali evening, and also had a birthday lunch in the outside ‘hideaway ‘ which was amazing, and we will be booking again this summer.
We go often to this restaurant and are normally very satisfied with everything. This time we didn't make a sensible menu choice and my wife will avoid vegetarian options in future. Come to think of it my trout was a tad bit on the dry side but I'm being picky; this won't put us off going there again.
Fantastic Meal with my wife , Firstly the lady who served us was very friendly and polite , Drinks were a reasonable price as was the food which was well cooked and presented thank you and we will return again soon.
We had a birthday lunch for six. Nice spacious table, cheerful and friendly staff. Excellent salad starters, vegetables for the roast were cooked very well and were interesting. Ran out of roast beef but the alternatives were very nice. Beautifully presented dessert buffet. Live piano music very appropriate.
Would come again.
Great ambience excellent staff despite being run off their feet, more staff needed or more kitchen staff. Food was ok, we hoped to make this our regular place to eat as live close by but food quality needs to match strong competition that's around these days.
A lovely evening, my husband and i had an anniversary meal here and were treated very well. The food was lovely and service was impeccable.
This is without doubt the best restaurant in Dover. There is always something new to try on the menu and the Sunday carvery is magnificent.
Cider overpriced. Only lager available no ale. Ordered 4 steaks - 3 medium and 1 medium/well. All came back well done, two of which very chewy and one practically inedible. Some was sent back. Have been here a few times but would not wish to come back again after this experience. What a disappointment
Had a group on voucher and it was a very nice meal, we will defo be returning.
after driving for 6 hours to get here the Open Tabke suggested the restaurant was open much earlier than it was. We got ready for our original booking time slot only to be rudely told that they didn’t even open for another 2 hours. Food was really poor with very little to no choice for anything healthy.
I booked with groupon meal & service excellent but had to wait 2 weeks to use voucher fantastic valve worth the wait
I have read and heard many good recommendations to try the Ramada for sunday lunch. Unfortunately it did not meet expectations. The best part of the meal was the staff - friendly and attentive.
There was a good selection of starters and plentiful amounts but it then went down from there. Our main course vegetables were overcooked and the beef that two of our party selected was very dry and again overcooked. The desserts although many in choice, were all far too sweet and both the jelly and vanilla mousse (?) lacked any flavour.
Normally stay prior to an early morning ferry. Table booked as there is nowhere else local. Very good food
Always very pleasant food good and different. Calm environment. Thank you.
Staff very friendly and accommodating. Food was plentiful and variety of choice. Staff checked at the table as to whether we required anything I.e more tea, coffee, sugar, without imposing. Would recommend to friends.
Food was lovely we had a three course meal every course delivered, the staff were so friendly aswell
Excellent Sunday lunch lots of choice for starter, carvery choice of 4 meats plus 2 other main dishes, fish and pasta. Also lots of sweet choice hot and cold. Would book again.
Had a fantastic meal as always here.
Love the fact they make everything themselves.
Can't wait to go back.
Never had a bad meal and I'm fussy.
Fantastic staff .
Visited here for lunch to celebrate a friends birthday. You were recommended by a neighbour. A very enjoyable experience. The staff were excellent...service was good. My friend returned her steak as it was tough. There was no problem and her meal was replaced. We will be returning again
Had a lovely time food great lovely staff will return soon
NIce decor. Food well-presented and good portion size.
Service not quite up to the refinement level at which the menu & decor suggests the restaurant is aiming itself at
All very good very pleasant staff, & very good food. Will be back soon .
We got 50%off the food bill from opentable booking,we are 8people,very enjoy the food, good presentation, the food is lovely, the dessert fantastic, we will come again, the waiter and waitress is okay, but the light is quite yellowish, not good for taking pictures
Our meal was superb, as always. Cooked to perfection and the service was excellent too. We had a lovely night
