My group had a great experience at the bar with Christian and Raul. Their conversations added a lot to the meal and the overall experience. We were very happy to spend our evening in their care, and would recommend sitting at the bar. Thank you!

The food was incredible. We did the 10 course taco tasting with wine at lunch. Each dish was interesting, tasty and beautifully presented. The total bill was just under $400USD for two people. Pricy but very much worth it for the quality of the food and experience.

I've had quite a few fine dining experiences in my life, and at this point this has been the top. The service was exceptional but not stuffy. All of the small details were appreciated. The food the visual appealing and just delicious! Our main server Raul, was a delight. Wonderful right

A truly unbelievable experience! Definitely expensive relative to other fine dining in the city, however well worth it for something we enjoyed every second of and will never forget.

This was an amazing experience, with different styles of food I would have never had the opportunity to try anywhere else. Pujol does not need any more rave reviews because everyone knows how great it is! But the Omakase Tacos menu is something everyone should try, Yes, it is expensive but you don’t feel like it’s expensive when you are enjoying such a unique meal. And the service, the explanation, the introduction to the various courses is like an education!
But most importantly, everything is a taste sensation!!
I want to go back!!!

The dining experience at Pujol was everything I hoped it would be. The taco omakase was delicious and gracefully presented. The service was on point and attentive. The small details were there. They also accommodated my friend’s vegetarian diet. Would definitely dine again at Pujol when I’m back in CDMX. Don’t skip this restaurant.

The food was great, but the service, unfortunately, left much to be desired. The waiter was visibly annoyed by my questions seeking to confirm that what I was served didn’t contain any shellfish, which I’m deathly allergic to. In one particular instance, when he described the food as having octopus, I asked to confirm that it didn’t, in fact, have octopus because I couldn’t eat it. He was annoyed and said it didn’t have any despite having just explained to my party that it did. His rudeness ruined the experience, which is unfortunate. We’ve gone to Pujol annually, but it’s going to be hard to come back after this experience.

One of my favorite meals of 2019 and a legitimate debate regarding its status as the best restaurant in North America. Haven’t tried the restaurant, but the taco Omakase experience was second to none. There really isn’t better service in Mexico City either.

Honestly my favorite restaurant in the world. The food is amazing, and it is so much fun to do the taco tasting menu. What makes this place so incredibly special, though, are the people. This is my second time at Pujol, and both times the staff was outstanding— so knowledgeable, attentive, and kind. The service is unbelievably personal - we had the most wonderful conversations with everyone who took care of us. It is a wonder that a restaurant staff can be so precise and personal at the same time. Pujol is one of the many reasons to come to CDMX!

Highly recommended. Amazing staff.

The highlight is the food. Different tastes, unique local ingredients, and fun preparations. As the name Omakase implies, the meal was mix of Japanese and Mexican techniques.

The hallmark of an Omakase meal is that the Chef will select the menu and that you leave full, but not over stuffed, nor hungry. The meal was perfect. I was delighted by each of the 10 course + surprises. I'm eager to return.

Pro tip: Book your meal at Pujol and then book your trip/visit to CDMX.

Taco omakase was amazing -- all the food was delicious and the waiters were very amiable. The service was excellent, one of the waiters took the time to explain all the food and talk about the different types of tortillas (how they were made, the different corns, etc). My only complaint is that the non-alcoholic beverage pairing was two juices that cost the same amount as the wine pairing (and the food) -- this seemed way overpriced.

What can be said about the most incredible dining experience I’ve ever had? Well, that, if I choose brevity. But brevity doesn’t do Pujol justice. We were welcomed with warm, kindness, and care, and in the brief wait before our seating, admired the decor and attentiveness of the staff.

As we were seated, we were asked about any food allergies, and presented with the menu. We were elated to see some dishes that were shown in the Chef’s Table episode on Chef Olvera as included in our omakase reservation. Then, we were asked if we preferred the craft beer, wine, or mezcal pairing. My wife went with wine, but they said hell yea to my inquiry of beer with a couple of mezcals sprinkled throughout.

The service is impeccable, and the staff knowledgeable about everything: sourcing of ingredients for the dishes, techniques, wine/beer/spirits, mixology, and the surrounding area. They were quick and enthusiastic with recommendations of nearby restaurants, mezcalerias, and taco stands...a sign of supreme confidence for a restaurant to value and appreciate food over competition.

The food was incredible. As I stated, best meal of my life. I won’t delve into specific dishes as the menu most likely changes daily, but the king crab sopa, pork belly gordita, enmolada, and “street food” dishes were most profound. That being said, it’d be like choosing your favorite child. Quality, preparation, plating, spacing between courses, and creativity were all top notch.

My wife and I couldn’t believe we scored a reservation, and Pujol surpassed every expectation we could possibly have (minus my fanboy-hope to meet chef Olvera in person, but I digress). 100% will return and recommend. Not to be missed, and should be saved for and savored.

My husband and I attended the omakase taco tasting. The food was excellent. Beautiful presented. Simple ingredient combinations but complex flavors. The food was as expected if not better. The experience, however, was disappointing. The tasting is at the bar which is fine, however, for the price you pay, it is a bit odd the way the bartenders are all working the whole time - making drinks, washing glasses, etc. You can barely get their attention to ask a question. The food is brought out, you get a scripted description, and then the bartenders go back to work. My husband does not speak Spanish and at the beginning they asked which language we preferred. About a third of the way through the dinner, the English speaking server stopped coming over and explaining the dishes and only the Spanish descriptions were provided. Overall, for the significant cost of this experience, the service and setting did not live up to the price. Luckily the food was superb.

What an experience! Every course was perfectly laid out with detailed explanations before the first bite. What a journey through corn found around the country formulated into different shapes and flavors. Some are shaped as a corn puff, in the form of tofu, and some even look like a leaf! I couldn't stop talking about it to everyone I met during the rest of my trip in CDMX and am looking forward to my next trip to for another unforgettable meal
