We did dinner on Friday then Lunch the next day. Both experiences were amazing. We thought lunch was a little more relaxed, and more fun vibe. But definitely try out both. Food was amazing

The best meal of my life!! If you’re lucky enough to get a reservation... just go!! I was blown away by how beautifully executed each dish was. Highly recommend to any foodie traveling to Mexico City!

The chef prepared a vegetarian option very delicious. The presentation of the food was great as well as the explanation of the dishes by the well-prepared staff. Service is very good. You can choose to match the food with drinks, wine, mezcal beer or cocktails; I can recommend Mezcal, they have a very interesting choice.

Experience was good. However, I don't know why Pujol hide the prices. If the chef thinks his food is great, why not be transparent and have the tasting menus prices on their website?
It is not until they sit you down that they give you a menu card and at the very bottom in very fine print they include the price. Anyhow, I didn't like that.

I treated myself to a solo meal while visiting friends here. I was greeted warmly, and such great care was given to me in small ways: pushing my seat in, showing me to the restrooms, letting me change my mind on drink preference, explaining the dishes and answering my questions, and never making me feel rushed! The food truly speaks for itself, but I found myself so warm with happiness from the level of service. It’s SO worth going to! I will be back.

Al hacer la reserva informamos que uno de nosotros era alérgico al gluten y que no podía ingerir ningún alimento con gluten de lo contrario la persona se enfermaría grave mente. El día de la reserva le dieron platos diferentes a esta persona aduciendo que eran gluten free, sin embargo no lo eran. Mi invitada tuvo que ir al hospital por ingerir gluten en Pujol. Es una irresponsabilidad por parte del restaurante dar alimentos con gluten a personas alérgicas.

Where to begin. First...major foodie here who "Hates" reviews from Opentable and Tripadvisor because the reviews are not from people who know good food. So please take this into consideration. If you are excited to try a Top 50 Restaurant - GO! If you care about the quality of food - much better authentic options in DF (Mexico City).

First, the ambiance and location/buildout are amazing. You must go for a cocktail at the outside bar. It is a must.

Second and most importantly, the Taco Omakase is just plain "average." Nothing special and actually had better tacos at the casual restaurants in town. For 3.350 Mexican pesos - I would absolutely pass on this option. We had two reservations so gave one to another family member to go later that night. The story goes that a patron flew into Mexico City for Pujol Omakase Tacos tasting. They love tacos. After the 4th course, they got up and left. This is the same course my wife and I looked at each other and said, "Wow, this is very underwhelming."

For Foodies and to authenticate: We did Noma pop-up in Tulum and Miami. We've done SF, Chicago, NYC, London, Hong Kong, and Paris Top Restaurants. Save the trip and your money going to Pujol.

On a broader note: Latin America is like the World Cup and Olympic committee choices for host cities. The locations might suck and be run by a dictator but, peace be upon the world, let's give them the vote to host - "damn the best for athletes and those attending." Latin America has been given some great Top Restaurant ratings that are absolutely not deserved: Pujol and Central being the most obvious (done Central 3x because of trips there for business - NYC restaurants not rated blow it away). They do great presentations but the food quality does not match those in other locations like NYC, SF, Paris, London, and Tokyo. The rankings just feel sorry for poor ole Latin America and they want them to be "represented."

This was the last meal of my time in Mexico, and I’ve heard so many amazing reviews. Unfortunately, this did not live up to the hype for the value nor the service.

The dishes were hit or miss. There were a couple that I thought tasted magical. Most dishes were meh. Even the dessert wasn’t anything special-just mango related desserts, plus churros.

I didn’t think the value was fair at all. They charged approx $165 USD whether you were drinking alcohol or not, which is really unfair. Just because that’s stated on the tasting menu, doesn’t make it right. I had been hoping to not drink that evening, but felt I had to since I was being charged.

The bartender/hostess wouldn’t pour me the mezcal most of the time, while she would pour for the people to the right and left of me. I had to keep reminding her to do so.

Then as I saw the bill, it was 2 line items that added up to $165USD...so alcohol was optional??

We have been waiting to visit Pujol since we learned about Chef Olvera from the Netflix series 'Chef's Table'. Our expectations were met, in fact, they were exceeded! We ate at the taco bar. The 10-course meal with paired drinks was unbelievable. The attention to detail not only of the food but of the drinks and the overall restaurant was impeccable! Raul, our server, was knowledgeable, friendly and hosted us extremely well. Dessert was served outside which elevated the whole experience and added to the already amazing atmosphere. This was a definite bucket list item and we couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Amazing experience. This is my 3rd time here and i will keep coming back. Special shout out to Raul, the bartender, who was so knowledgeable and friendly and who saved the menu which I had made notes on when I thought I had lost it.

The food was inspired and wonderful.

Comida y bebidas sobresalientes, atencion y servicio muy amable, me sorprende la creatividad con que mezclan ingredientes y sabores. Es mi segunda vez en Pujol, espero regresar pronto. Solo sugeriria designar un area de no fumar al momento de los postres.

What an experience, simply amazing. The only thing I would change is opt out of the drinks and just order my own cocktails if I wish and thicker bathroom walls. Everything else was worth it, the service was attentive and exceptional. Do not eat breakfast of you are coming to the 1:30 tasting as you will regret it. The chocolate on the way out the door is also a nice delicious touch. I love that you get to keep the napkin. The decor really sets the mood.

This was a very good experience. However, every time we come to Pujol the prices seem to increase exponentially. The food is excellent, but the price is too high for CDMX. You can have an experience of similar quality in NYC or SF for around the same price point.

Excelente servicio. A manera de sugerencia, ampliaría el buffet e incluiría algún taco con carne roja para potenciar el paladar (res, venado, por ejemplo). Fue una agradable experiencia en general.

Aunque el ambiente es espectacular, el servicio inmejorable, la materia prima de primera y las elaboraciones deliciosas, comer en una barra para tomar unos tacos con cerveza y quedarse con hambre por 160EUR + propina por persona, es de las experiencias gastronómicas más surrealistas que he vivido.

Lo recomendaría a ojos cerrados si el precio no fuera la máxima expresión de la exclusividad y el absurdo al que hemos llegado en cuanto a uno de los actos más básicos del ser humano, comer.

Restaurantes de 3 estrellas Michelin con materia prima y porciones mejor ajustadas en los que jamás te quedarías con hambre, son experiencias que puedes disfrutar por un precio más razonable incluso maridando la experiencia con vino.

We loved dining here! The food was delicious (as we expected). The best part of it all for us, was the service! Everybody was very friendly and helpful. Raul our server/bar tender was very thoughtful and friendly as well. The food is what this place is known for but the service and the people that work there, take the cake!

Tacos Omakase was amazing - very special from beginning to the end, recommend with mezcal pairing. Great concept and execution from start to finish. Best mango I ever tasted for the desert. Wish pricing would be somehow tiered or more accesible to all - but was worth the splurge, if you can afford it.
