Really great dinner here with the missus. I booked it as a surprise date night and she was very impressed. We had the set menu which is great value - and we added a few sides that looked too good to miss. Was far too much food with the sides - but a really good experience all round.
First time at this place. Overall the meat was done to perfection as you'd expect from a steak house. The only issue I had was that we ordered a bottle of 2011 Rioja but what we got was a 2012 for the same price...at £68 for a 2012 and not 2011 makes a big difference. Interestingly enough, we ordered a different one based on the vintage, they didn't have that year either.
An early dinner at Omnino in Leadenhall with a friend was relaxed and we opted for the set menu at £29.95 for 4 courses and a glass of Prosecco. We were treated to an unexpected amuse bouche of courgette ‘roll’ filled with goats cheese and sausage bits which was very tasty. Starters of empanada and sausage were followed by a main of picana steak with shared chips and French beans. My French friend declared the steak the best she had eaten, high praise indeed. Desserts were ice cream and followed by a slice of cheddar and aged Brie with 2 oatcakes and fruit cheese to share (do not expect a big plate of cheese. We opted for a glass from their specialist wine menu of Pinot Noir and one of Malbec and were not disappointed with the taste and quality. Followed by a coffee each we were full. The staff were lovely, greeting us warmly on arrival, paid attention during the meal and sorted out a voucher issue with no fuss.
We came here for my husband’s birthday and had a wonderful time. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We had the dinner set menu which is amazing value (4 courses plus a glass of prosecco for £30). After dessert they brought out a small birthday treat for my husband which was a lovely touch. We had a lovely time and would come again.
Great dinner. We went for the special fixed menu and it was very reasonably priced for lots of good quality food. The staff here are amazingly friendly and the service in on point. I'd recommend you check this place out, they care about what they are doing and it's very good!
Nice restaurant with friendly staff. We love it.
Great food, but was surprised by the small space. The whole restaurant only holds about 12 tables, and is in the basement of a building so there’s no windows. Still a good intimate spot and the food was delicious.
Very nice, well received, impressive service
Had lunch with an Ambassador was happy with everything
Will definitely go back again...
Thank you All
Cocktails were good, food delicious and service fun. Will certainly go back.
Great evening at Omnino, really good service and steak was amazing!
Great food. Excellent service
Top notch. Great service. Amazing steak. We loved it. Will definitely be back.
The service was excellent, all of the food was really good and the steak was amazing. Although this wasn't a cheap restaurant it was definitely good value for money and nothing was overpriced. I can't find anything negative to say and do recommend this for anyone that appreciates the perfect steak.
Vacation with family
Very attentive staff
Creative and delicious
Me and my boyfriend try to eat here at least once a year. It’s wxoens but totallly worth every penny. The service is outstanding, the staff at friendly and chatty. The fillet steak is the best I’ve had in London so far. Hoping we get to visit again before the summer is over.
Steak as usual great quality. Sides were a bit disappointing this time. Had to exchange an overcooked vegetable side. Service was solid - water service could be improved further.
Five old business friend went there for a long enjoyable lunch (left at 5.00pm). We all love Argentinian Steak Restaurants but they have to be authentic with great tasting food (especially the steaks). Omnino ticked all of the boxes for us. Also really enjoyed the Malbec that was recommended. Excellent and we will return.
I took my partner for a steak night. His waguy cut was great, my black truffle fillet less so - it lacked a bit of texture and was a bit dry (hence I didn’t feel like it was worth £40). Our waiter Valentina (if I remember correctly) brought us another cut to try on the house which I thought was an outstanding customer service. Ambience was also really nice on a week night.
Great service and always a welcoming smile.
Overall a good restaurant, decor is nice and service was good. Lot's of imported meats which pushes the prices up.
Staff were excellent, good choice of wines steaks were good, sides and desserts not quite up to scratch.
Firstly, I want to say that the service was excellent the whole evening and I would not hesitate to recommend Omnino to a friend. The Wagyu in our Ribeye Trio was delicious and the stand-out meat of the night, but all three of the steaks were incredibly tasty, as was the green chimichurri sauce we had to accompany. We ordered three sides: chips, which were good; the broccoli, whose crumbly topping went soggy a bit quickly, but tasted nice prior to that; and the truffle gnocchi, which my partner loved, but I thought was too dense and not truffly enough. The dulce de leche cheesecake dessert was amazing, while the chocolate torte will definitely please chocolate fans. We shared a very nice and reasonably-priced Malbec and there were lots of great choices on the wine list. We will definitely be back again!
Great food, I ordered the steak which was very tasty, however I was expecting something to come with the steak, but it just came out on its own, if I had known I would of ordered something on the side. Cheesecake dessert was also very nice.
We discovered Omnino Steakhouse a couple of years back while staying near the tower of the london and had a fantastic experience that has made it traditional to go back everytime we're in London. The food is outstanding, steaks to die for, this time around the fillet steak just melted in my mouth. Visiting Omnino is a special treat for us. We highly recommend this restaurant, the staff are very welcoming friendly and remembered us from our last visit, if you want the best steak in London, head to the Omnino Steakhouse.
Great tasting menu with great wines.
The restaurant is too noisy and people start even shouting to understand each other. This they should handle with better acoustics.
Nice relaxed City venue. Great choice of perfectly cooked steaks. Acoustics near the entrance are a bit loud so a bit tricky to have a normal non-shouty conversation if you’re more than 4 people. May be better further into the resto. Would happily go again!
Great steaks at Omnino! Glad to have found this place as food was really tasty and not as pricey as other similar restaurants. Will definitely go back.
The kind of music was nice, a bit less loud would be fine though
I have visited many times this time for a business lunch. Food and service was the usual excellent standard. Beginning to get expensive with the usual steak restaurant issue of expensive sides. The meat however is good and and a shared cote de boeuf very tasty. Good Argentinian List as you would expect with city style mark ups. Overall I would go again but there are a few newer rivals locally that are better value for your meat fix.
Absolutely amazing steak and truly excellent service. I won’t hesitate to bring clients, family or friends here again.
Great food, service was
We had diner at this great steakhouse. At arrival we were greated with a warm welcom. The steaks are fabulous and the staff was very helpfull and friendly. The restaurant is on the more expensive sude, but overall it's worth paying a visit.
We had a great lunch. The food and wine was delicious, in a very nice ambiance. The waiters were looking after us so well. We will definitely come back!
I had the Omnino tasting (3 x 100g) : the meat was excellent (even if I would have expected a more 'wow effect' on the wagyu) and perfectly cooked (I ordered it rare and it was). Unfortunately 2 pieces out of 3 were lukewarm rather than hot. I was charged £2 for peppercorn sauce which is not something us, froggies, are accustomed to. Regarding the sides, the Black Truffle Gnocchi were superb, the Brazilian Spicy Cassava Puree a bit disappointing (and not spicy at all). We had an excellent Malbec by the glass. Service was great and very friendly. Overall, a nice evening, but we'll probably try another steakhouse next time we're in London.
Succulent food, attentive service and lovely ambiance. Will certainly return.
It was ok but kept falling short. The only thing that was special was the attention provided by the host that also helped with our table. Food was not impressive at all.
I had the 300g sirloin. It tasted lovely but had an unusual amount of fat on it which took a lot of cutting. Wine, desserts and sides all very tasty. I would probably revisit Gaucho, Hawksmoor or Goodmans before omnino again.
Food was absolutely excellent starting with the amuse bouche right through to dessert. One of our party said it was the 'best steak he had ever had'.
Service was as pretty good but it sometimes took time to attract attention.
Not cheap, so probably a once or twice a year visit if paying yourself.
The latest in a string of steak restaurants popping up all over the City offering high priced steaks in nice surroundings. The theme is Latin American, so there are some very nice empanadas on offer. The octopus starter was overcooked and very rubbery. The steaks were fine but, as you might expect, extremely expensive with everything from sauce to sides all adding significantly to the cost. Hand on heart, very nice surroundings and good service aside, was the steak any better than a Wetherspoons steak at 1/4 of the price? Probably not.
