Our Strathearn Suite is the largest of our event spaces, equipped with a large dancefloor, private bar and garden area, PA system and microphone. The Glengarry Suite can be booked individually for up to 40 guests or added to The Strathearn Suite for large events. The Glengarry Suite includes a private bar and natural daylight. The Loch Maree Suite can cater for up to 80 guests and is the perfect space for a party or celebration. The Loch Maree also has a private bar, private guest facilities, dancefloor and optional private entrance from the hotel car park. Banqueting Menus are available from £23 per person or Wedding Packages with 3 course meal, evening buffet and drinks from £50 per person.

    Unfortunately food was really poor. Sandwiches tasteless and salad on plate wilted …did raise this and was not taken on board, ordered a specialty tea and was not offered sugar or milk had to hunt somebody down and even then they looked at me as if I had two horn. Shame as I was looking forward to lunch but was left very disappointed ☹️

    I ordered the crispy sweet chilli chicken salad. The chicken was cooked lovely, however the plate was swimming in sweet chilli sauce to the point it was not enjoyable and I couldn't taste the salad. I did explain this to the staff and they dealt with the situation very promptly and professionally. The chef even agreed and we were not charged for this meal. The starters and my partners steak were all lovely. If getting this salad in future I would ask for the sauce to come separately!

    Booked a table for 11am but lunch didn’t start till 12noon. Why let me book a table for 11am? Also they had no notification of my booking. Staff not wearing masks. Social distancing could be have been better.

    Had hot smoked salmon as starter which was tinned salmon with lump of creme fresh on top served on brioche alongside limp boring salad. Main was burger and chips ,burger was ok but needed better relish and better presentation chips were cheap frozen and not good

We are very sorry you did not enjoy the hot smoked salmon starter and I will pass your feedback onto the kitchen. I would like to take the time to assure you the salmon is certainly not tinned, our hot smoked salmon is received onsite as a side of salmon. We would love to be able to serve proper homemade chips with all of our meals however we do not have the fryer capacity to satisfy demand.

    Would definitely recommend this to friends or family. Lovely set up for valentines with cute little hanging rose hearts and individual candle and rose on each table. Very nice ❤️

    We were part of a very large wedding party & our waiter was absolutely fantastic....patient, friendly, helpful & made us feel right at home - nothing was too much trouble! He even remembered my drink preference the next day during the wedding breakfast 😉

    Senior menu We had soup steak pie, scampi and ice cream tasty and good Value for money. Would like a chicken dish on this menu and if you went on a regular basis this menu would get boring. The main menu far to pricey

    Disappointed with food choices and quality. The Hill Croft used to provide an exciting menu and very tasty food. That’s my first visit in 2 years, was so disappointed! The menu is basic pub grub which can be brilliant if cooked well. But unfortunately it wasn’t. I had fish and chips, chips were still hard fish was soggy and tasteless, didn’t eat half of it. I won’t be back and would not recommend it either

    Greeted by a sullen server and grudgingly shown to our seats only to discover the afternoon tea was £2 more than advertised on website. Food choice and quality good but tea arrived 10 mins before lunch and was getting cold.

    Took some friends out for lunch, staff friendly and helpful, food very good. Large portions, maybe too large couldn't manage dessert. Haven't been to the hillcroft for some time but everyone in the party would definitely return.

    Family of 5 , greeted as we entered, track and trace info supplied and shown to our table, very professional. service was quick and food and drinks were served quickly Standard of food was excellent as always with a great selection that catered for all in the party. we were surprised with a large choice of vegan dishes to choose from also
