OPSO Ratings and Reviews
We first wanted to have breakfast in this restaurant. Later we checked the menu and we have seen so many nice things.. so we decided to have a dinner here. This is my first experience with the greek cuisine and i loved it! When i am back in London i surely go back to this restaurant. Greetz from Holland!
Buzzy but friendly with staff who are responsive and knowledgeable without pressurising guests.
A great place whether for a quick eat alone right up to groups of people.
Food was lovely as were the cocktails!
As our friends said who'd never been before " excellent shout.....Let's come back "
I love Opso - 2nd time I've been and wasn't disappointed - the food is really very very tasty and the portion sizes very good so we probably over ordered! Wine delish and of particular note was the mini ice cream cone for desert - INSPIRED - that's all you need but so beautifully presented. Nice twinkly feel to the place - it was a little noisy at times so quite hard to hear each other but we managed. Good big tables downstairs if you have a larger party.
My dad and I had dinner here over the weekend and it was amazing! The gin and tonics were delicious and we ordered a bunch of food to share, all incredible! We had the pita bread with skordalya, Dakos, souvlaki tacos (only one per order), mac n cheese, pastitsio, and kleftiko lamb. This was way more than enough for the two of us, but all equally delicious and it is definitely worth ordering many options for the table. The service was great. We will be back in a couple of weeks to share with family :)
We visited London from the US for a week and ate here twice. We loved the beetroot carpaccio. I would never have imagined that beets could taste so good. Don't miss out on the yellow fava beans, spread on olive crackers, it is an explosion of tastes. Frankly, every dish we ordered was wonderful. The bread with olives was somehow the best grilled bread I had ever tasted. Both times we ate too much to have room for dessert, so I cannot offer any recommendations on that. The staff was attentive and helpful. I would recommend reserving a table as it is a popular place.
Booked midweek evening. Table ready on arrival. Very polite waiters. Great interior design and ambience. Dined upstairs, but downstairs is pretty nice too. Cosy, busy, slightly noisy but that's part of the ambience. Nice crowd. Basically the food is a take on modern Greek tapas. Incredibly good value for money. Fun cocktails menu. Had five dishes to share with my wife and a gin and citrus and tonic cocktail. £45 including the 12% service charge. Fantastic value for a WestEnd restaurant. The pizza with tomato was exception, along with the souvlaki.
A lovely surprise, friendly and attentive staff. I was dining alone and they were very warm and accommodating. The food was wonderful, it was a unique and modern take on Greek food. The portions were delightful and I especially liked the cocktails. Will definitely return!
