Marylebone-based OPSO is a stylish restaurant and bar that celebrates the tastes, produce and social-style dining of Greece. OPSO [gr.ΟΨΟ] is an ancient Greek word for a delectable morsel of food, a fitting name for a venue that offers modern Greek tapas made with the highest quality ingredients.View Private Dining Details
As always outstanding service and wonderful food. I took my Italian friend with me this time and he loved every single dish! I will definitely come back again and again.
This was our second meal at Opso and both were truly delicious. However, on our second visit, the Dakos salad was significantly overdressed. The first time we had it, you could see each vegetable, each caper, each olive beautifully. The second time, the ingredients were almost indistinguishable because of so much dressing. We absolutely love this place and will still highly recommend it because everything was fabulous. But whoever did the salad prep this past Monday afternoon at 3:00 overdressed that salad to an extreme.
Food and service was good, but some items on the menu were very over-priced.
Very nice place, quality of food and service. However it was too noisy with very high prices for what it is offered.
I think that’s what I was thinking about it going to be a good idea to get to the us and then I will pay for the next weekend and then I
Great atmosphere and food. Service was fantastic. The staff were incredibly attentive. We had a really lovely brunch.
Wonderful modern Greek food and great atmosphere. This restaurant is a nice lunch venue and a very special dinner venue.
Simply delicious Greek food. Generous portions. Perfect for a shared lunch...and outside tables in the sun.
We really love OPSO for both brunch and dinner; however, your desserts don’t seem to match the quality of your food. Most of them are way too sweet and don’t taste special. I would suggest you to work on your desserts too as I know greeks have some amazing sweets!
Tasty, well-presented food. Friendly and engaging staff. Very compact, brutally expensive but you are in Marylebone!
We had fantastic dinner at Opso and our waiter, Stellios, was absolutely fantastic. He explained the menu clearly and gave us amazing recommendations, service always quick and the food were all amazing.
The disabled toilet was dirty and the hand dryer broken and no hand towels only spare industrial toilet paper roll.
The manager was at the back of the restaurant on his mobile phone and not as friendly as all staff I have encountered at this usually brilliant restaurant.
The portions were small for the price.
Our waiter was however lovely.
Great food with fantastic service. A little noisy, but well worth a visit
Very very good food. Service could be better and more aware of what’s going on.
Remember to be clear about allergies, not all ingredients are on the list.
Great food and service. Came here on a recommendation and it was worth it.
Really much better than when I went 3 years ago - delicious cauliflower! Super drinks - sat at the bar and that was nice - very lively - a bit too noisy...
Love OPSO - one of my favorite spots in Marylebone.
Great food, service, staff, wine! Had such a lovely dinner; will return.
brass, blonde wood, marble and paa blue walls- luke sailing Greek isles with terrific chef and attentive crew. we’ve been 3 times since Feb and we don’t live in London. and the food fabulous -lamb, chicken, humus, magical oramge halva, chocolate dreamy desserts. All in perfect portion size for sharing a la grec
Very helpful and welcoming staff. The food is good
Really good quality of food.
Definitively worth its price. Very friendly waiters. Favorite breakfast place in London!
overcrowded, limited space, noisy. I can hardly listen to my friend sitting next to me. Food was insanely expensive but tasted not good. I was still hungry despite I paid over £50 to get some hot plates. Do Not Go There!
The pancake was so fantastic，so was yogurt！
Excellent food. Went there twice in a one week stay. That’s how good it was!
Amazing greek food
Portions are small at Opso, the chicken took an hour to come out and all we got in exchange was a shot. Of course we took service charge off. Service was overall slow, to order drinks for instance. also they ran out of dishes very early, we were there by 7.45 pm and by the time we ordered no cauliflower. I think Meraki restaurant offers better service for money.
Everything was perfect, the food, the staff, the setting. This is probably the best modern Greek food I have ever tasted. My only reason for giving less one star than perfect is that we were asked to leave (or rather hurry up) although we’d spent a significant amount.
Charming service and wonderful Greek food with a twist. Fabulous
The Black Forest dessert was Perfect, piece of Art
Food was served cold, and the berries on the pancakes were frozen. Otherwise, it was good.
Nice food - amazing Greek Salad. Good setting though booth not to our liking. Some issues with the food but well looked after and resolved by the waitstaff. Well worth a visit!
We chose the festival menu, from the way the menu is laid out it seems like there would be more to it than a tiny pot of hummus or taramasalata (inclusive of 4 small pieces of naan), an ok main (but nothing special) and then a couple of very average truffles. Very overpriced for what it was.
love, love and love. I wish they kept some of their signature dishes on the menu... Go there with people you love and want to enjoy each other’s company while sharing great food. Noise level is manageable.
Opso is an excellent choice for someone who wants to experience Greek food at very high standards but at the same time in a comfort manner. The prices of the food though is slightly overestimated (probably due to the location of the restaurant)
The service was extremely disappointing. The waiters and the manager were extremely rude and unaccommodating. As a regular diner at Opso I was honestly shocked and will be thinking twice about returning for such impolite and mismanaged service!
We had ordered some eggs as well as the infamous granola (which quite frankly was the deciding factor on where to eat lunch) however 20 mins after the eggs arrived we were still waiting for the granola. I asked one member to check on the granola and bring the bill - and if the granola was not on its way to cancel it as I had an appointment in 15 mins time. 5 minutes later I had still not heard back so I asked another waiter to do the same, he ensured me that the granola was less than a minute away. Another 5 minutes had passed so I got up and went to the till where I asked again. The waiter said they had not even made the granola so I said please cancel it and just let me pay. He faffed about on the till for 5 minutes and then the granola was brought out to my table - where I no longer was. Frustrated, I waited for the bill which again took 5 more minutes, despite me standing by the till. I received no apology from the staff, nor the manager just an explanation that they had run out of blueberries and therefore had to buy them for the granola. Should this be true, then I should've been informed of this from the beginning instead of wasting my time for what became 25 minutes.
The food was great and the portions decent. The service was polite, however, one of the waiters made us feel that we had to leave as soon as possible and that was pretty awkward. The reception was not great either and we had to wait for our table to me free for 10' after we arrived at the restaurant. Given the number of Greek restaurants in London, I would consider returning to Opso any time soon.
Both the food and the service was amazing- such a hidden gem! Will definitely come back!
Delicious food and great ambience. However, service was really slow and portions are quite small value for money.
Great food, absolutely delicious. We all loved it. Unfortunately the service was limited as the waitresses circled and pestered us and they kept looking at themselves in the mirrors (a bit too self-important it seemed?) Our waitress also cut her finger while opening the bottle of wine and she dropped blood on the bottle but didn’t excuse herself until we asked her to!! There was also blood dropped on the floor but it was never wiped away... until we requested!! Crazy service and poor hygiene!!! Of course it was an accident but still!!!??? Anyways I hope to return to give the restaurant another shot bc the food was incredible... hopefully the service will be much improved by then.
Amazing food always but pricey for what it is !!!
