The name Orelle draws inspiration from the French words for gold (or) and her (elle). It is also the name of a French mountain village.

Orelle offers 360-degree, panoramic views across the city and beyond. Open for lunch and dinner, Orelle will serve a menu featuring both classic and modern French dishes. The small but beautifully designed bar will offer both classic and innovative cocktails, all expertly crafted by some of Birmingham’s best mixologists.

    Utterly amazing venue, cocktails, service and food ! This is my second visit for our 21st anniversary and it was such a special night. I would have however appreciated if they would have let us know they had a large party as they were very loud, had a DJ and rather ruined the end of our night as it was so loud. We would have stayed for more cocktails and enjoyed, but we left as was starting to get rather rough and Rowdy !

    Excellent wine Sauvignon Blanc from South Africa, cocktail was also excellent. Food and service poor. Views over Birmingham is good.

    The staff were very friendly but service extremely slow and 2 of our party had to leave before coffee as their parking time was overdue. I think they need to consider the number of walk in bookings they accept. But overall a nice experience location is stunning

    Everything about this place is outstanding from the moment you step out of the lift. The views are spectacular of an evening. The staff were so attentive. The steak was the best I’ve had. Loved that they had a DJ in the bar area which added to the ambiance of the restaurant. Highly recommend.

    Outstanding views around the city. Food was lovely, I was a little disappointed with my chateau briande, I had hoped at £55 per hear it was served with fries and carrot, which I thought was quite unusual. The only sauce on offer was pepper, which some of our party didn't like, so the waitress had to ask in the kitchen if they could do garlic butter, she came back and said no, only what was on the menu was available, after we questioned their inability to put some garlic and butter together, she returned to say the chef would concoct something, which low and behold was garlic butter. I thought this quite odd for a restaurant of such high caliber. Also the wine I chose had very disapointingly ran out, however the sommelier soon sorted us with her recommendations. Besides this, the evening was very enjoyable. The staff were very nice and attentive. Downside, you have to go down 1 floor in the lift or stairs to go to the loo.
