Went to Orford Saloon last night for my boyfriends birthday. The manager helped us find options for my boyfriend who’s celiac and helped us with possible cross contamination with the potato’s. The food is always amazing,definitely will come back. The portions are quite large so I’d recommend ordering around 7 dishes and sharing. The price was £73 which is decent. Only downside was the table behind us were wasted nearer the end and were talking loudly that I had to text my boyfriend because I couldn’t hear anything he was saying.

Delicious croquetas and calamares a la romana. Nice paella but quite expensive. Great service. Would prefer a different genre of background music as the reggaeton was more suitable for a bar than a restaurant.

Lovely tapas restaurant ideal for lunch or dinner. Service and food quality were excellent. I'd prefer the pace of service to be a bit slower as most dishes arrived too soon after the previous ones for my liking. Other than that I'd highly recommend it and look forward to a return.

I took my GF to Orford Saloon as a present having heard that it was very good but was disappointed by the experience. Food service was very slow to the extent that two of six dishes never arrived despite asking at least three times as to their whereabouts. Upon asking after one of the dishes the person serving gave no sincere apology or explanation other than ‘This is how Tapas works, the food comes when it is ready’. I found this condescending and a little rude. After over an hour one member of the team advised that they couldn’t make the dish due to issues with the grill, an explanation that we would have accepted at the outset. At the end of the meal one of the waiter’s was very apologetic and did not charge us for a carafe of wine and removed the service charge from the bill. The food that was served was good and I am disappointed as I would like to have eaten more of it. I would be reluctant to go back in case of a repeat experience.

The food was delicious, but our evening was almost spoiled by slow and rude service. On arriving, we were ignored for quite a while, then rudely told to 'Wait. Over there.' The lady who eventually showed us to our table was charming, but we waited a long time to order and the waitress was quite grumpy with us. I understand that food can't come quickly but even our drinks took ages to appear, which is not good on a warm night. We were considering walking out by the time our wine and soft drinks came, and my friend's orange juice was positively warm. A great pity as the food was lovely and the garden is a perfect some for a summer evening.

We ate quite early so there might have been more noise later on. That said it’s quite a big restaurant so noise shouldn’t be that much of a problem. The service was very good as was the food. There’s an extensive menu and some specials. It’s all pretty good and as good as you’ll often get in Spain. The Pan Con Tomato is never quite the same as you get in Catalonia where my wife is from but was better than many I’ve had. The baby squid was really good as was the Crema Catalana. The latter isn’t easy to get just right so compliments to the chef. Excellent value for money.

Would not recommend. Very quiet, whilst other restaurants nearby were busy. Should have been a red flag but we wanted to try it out anyway. Unfortunately the food was very bad. We will not be going back!

Loved the friendly atmosphere and the excellent food :) Be prepared that plates are for sharing which if you have food allergies and tend to keep plates to yourself to avoid contamination, it is a little more than you might want. But it is delicious and a perfect sangria brunch spot.

Staff were friendly, food was served quickly and tasted delicious. What was somewhat unfortunate was the smell of the meat in the deli as you walk through to the restaurant. This is less appetising to vegans and vegetarians. Plus there was a smell of drains wafting through the venue at one point as well.

The food was absolutely delicious, with a good choice for vegetarians. The staff were kind and helpful, the noise level was very high but this was chiefly due to one person and hopefully isn't always so.
