Always enjoy our evenings at Osaka. Have eaten here many a time.
We had a delicious lunch with friends at the weekend and enjoyed it so much we returned on Tuesday to Osaka with some other friends. Service was swift and accomplished with a smile. We will be returning.
Polite and friendly service, nice atmosphere, GREAT FOOD!
Great food, cosy vibe with the dim lighting and anime projected on the back wall. Service was great too.
Mains came out after an hour. The shoyu ramen was just too salty and the vegetable ramen tasted bland. No apologies from the wait staff for the delay. Entrees were not bad. Overpriced.
We booked for 3pm online which is exactly when the kitchen closes till 5pm however the waitress was wonderful and said it was no worries, we were served with Great Attention,
no one else was in the restaurant. The food was Amazing! we weren't rushed and the hosts were lovely! What a great place to eat!! I thoroughly recommend the Osaka Trading Co.
We waited 45min for our entree and in the end asked for serve of edamame as we were starving - that still took 10min to come.
We kept getting told that the restaurant was so busy that’s why it took so long but a table arrived and ordered after us yet got their starters 10-15min before us?
We also had to keep asking for service e.g. can we order more drinks - we waited 15min for a 2nd sake and had to ask again as they had forgotten again saying how busy the restaurant was.
Food was absolutely delicious, ambience was great - service was lacking which for me is 1/3 of the experience.
Delicious high end food. The perfect place to teach children that Japanese food doesn't always have to be sushi train.
Sushi and staff are outstanding! Will definitely be back for more.
The share plates were generous and delicious
I enjoyed my chicken poke bowl too!
Atmosphere was great l. Tried rainbow roll was beautiful.
Miso Ramen was nice too it wasn’t salty at all.
Food was tasty.
Good and friendly service.
Alcoholic beverages are overpriced in my opinion and my not visit again for that reason.
Love eating at Osaka. The service is always friendly and the food tasty and varied. Even their Brussel sprouts are tasty!
Nice spot in the Tramsheds friends have wanted to try for a while, was not disappointed, the food was great, the king fish and fried pork was incredible, highly recommend if you love Japanese food.
Our waitress was wonderful and very helpful with guiding our choice. We really enjoyed a delicious meal and very nice wine. Thank you!
Reliable, I’ve visited Osaka trading co many times
Starter items were good but the ramen was a bit disappointing. It lacked flavour.
Reasonably priced with efficient service and food that fitted the price
Excellent food & service combined with a relaxed ambience made our dining experience one we will definitely be repeating. Looking forward to a ramen lunch there soon.
Snacks were good. Mains were okay. Service was slow due to being understaffed. Nice decor. Not bad.
What a great find. true nihon ryouri.
Pleasant staff. Loved it!
The Tuna tartare with pea purée was standout - stunning food !!
Wonderful food at Osaka as usual. The hiramasa kingfish, aburi salmon, tuna with pea puree were delicious. The miso brussels sprouts are to die for, I hope they always stay on the menu! There are some refreshing and interesting non-alcoholic drinks to start, and a great sake selection.
The food is fantastic!!!!!! The scallops were amaaaaazing. And the soft shell crab buns!! Service is also great. My friend has a good allergy and they made sure she was looked after and were very careful what they gave her.
Nice little place for Japanese eats. Good for sharing between 2-3 people.
The owner/ maître de was so rude when we arrived . no record of our booking & didn’t seem to care if we stayed or not .
so we didn’t and had a lovely meal with fabulous service at a cafe outside .
The food is Superb;)) fast service and fresh food!!
Magnificent as always!
The food is great and the staff are very attentive. This was my 3rd visit and I will definitely return.
first time I'd been. food was great. fresh! and very very tasty
The menu is small, but the food is delicious. The shared plates are great and, after what was my second visit, this is quickly becoming a favourite. The staff are super friendly and attentive too. Great cocktails and a good selection of Sake. It's not cheap, but given the quality of the meals, I think it's good value for money. Will definitely be back.
We have been here a number of times and it is the goto in Tramsheds. The soft shell crab buns, brussel sprouts and gyoza are all good. For a quick lunch the noodle bowls are great. Get a pitcher of the dark Sapporo beer on tap. Service is efficient, but relaxed.
All dishes were tasty and well prepared and presented
The Pumpkin and Eggplant dish though had far too much Miso based sauce and it was all over it. That Umami sort of taste therefore was overwhelming and meant that the vegetables and their natural flavours were totally lost
Might I suggest that the sauce comes alongside the vegies in a small dish or much much more sparingly used
Otherwise everything was delicious!
A lovely experience and friendly staff. I will be visiting again.
Great restaurant! Staff were attentive and food was delicious
Wonderful modern Japanese food and very good service, we love coming back here again and again.
Great food! Simple service but nice place to eat and delicious food
The Japanese negroni was good. Lotus chips were tasty. Rest of food ....
Regular diners at the restaurant, can recommend any and all of the dishes
The ramen was very different to any other ramen I've had in Sydney or Japan. Shoyu ramen was really strong in flavour, very dark and rich broth. I was able to eat the noodles but not the broth. Miso ramen was okay, but also quite strong in flavour. Gyoza were good and service was friendly, but it would have been nice to be asked how the meal was whilst we were eating. Would have appreciated some sort of service recovery, but the waitress seemed unsure what to do when we went to pay and let her know about the meal.
