I love Lucio's, great food, lovely atmosphere and staff are very friendly. Very good value too.
Had expected really good food based on reviews but was v disappointed with my main course- tagliatelle with duck ragu- extremely salty, no taste of duck, could have been any minced meat, sauce was a really strong beefy taste!
Business lunch. Great atmosphere and service as always. Food was high quality.
A little expensive but food was lovely ad service was great. The tiramasui was a huge hit!
Food good but €19 for a pizza made in an electric oven is pricey.
Second time visiting the place and loved it. We all had starters - the Burrata salad which was delicious. Then pizza and pasta for main courses. All very good. Highly recommend.
Food was good, not great. Pretty pricey for a simple plate of pasta or pizza. Very noisy space.
Fabulous food from the pre-theatre menu. Great buzz in a lovely room. Waitress was lovely but our starters were forgotten about and we had to wait ages for them which wasn't ideal as we were going to a concert. However without prompting the waitress told us that we wouldn't be charged for them as we had to wait so long. A very nice touch. Delicious food and an error handled very well so won't let that put me off and will definitely be back.
A relaxed Sunday evening supper, simple yet very skilled fish dishes. Low key but attentive service, feel lucky to live within strolling distance, will be back, think I’d be happy to dine here solo, which says a lot about the place
Lovely little restaurant with good Italian food. Would definitely go back again - would just note though that some of the main courses are quite small - I had gnocchi with beef and it was closer to a starter size in most Italian restaurants. The only other negative is that it is a small space - I was seated in the worst spot by the kitchen which meant getting bumped more than once by passing wait staff - probably a table to be avoided by anyone even a little precious of their personal space!
Love coming here. Wonderful, high-quality Italian food with good range and outstanding pizzas. Warm atmosphere. Only downside is can be hard to hear because of the noise - bare walls and trains travelling overhead. Not great for people with hearing impairment.
Pretty average restaurant. In a nice location and looks like a nice building, however it’s very stuffy inside and the tables are a bit cramped.
Food was OK - had pizza and to be honest you’ll get better in Dublin nearby. Service was good to start with but as soon as we received our mains, we were pretty much forgotten about.
Pretheatre menu is good value if a little limited in choice
What a poor excuse of an ‘Osteria Italiana’ - you ask the waiter for a focaccia and before even asking the chef he blatantly refuses! They offer an item already on the menu...which has nothing to do with a focaccia. Whilst the food is very good, the service is just as poor! Which authentic Italian restaurant serves coffee before dessert?!? More embarrassingly...so many misspelt ingredients on the menu. I would have revisited the restaurant again...but the poor service broke the camels back and unfortunately I will never set foot in the place again!
Food good - generous portions. Drinks expensive but that seems the norm in Dublin.
We arrived 15 mins early for our booking and were told to come back, that we couldn't sit anywhere and that everything even the bar seats were fully booked and reserved, which is understandable but our table that was booked for us was actually empty and we realised that when we came back to be seated, so that was a bit annoying.
The restaurant has a really nice vibe and the decor is really cool!
The food was tasty and reasonably priced for a pizza, a total of €75 for three pizzas and three different drinks, some may say expensive but it was worth it for the food!
We had a friendly and very efficient waitress, which made the evening a great success as we had time constraints. The pizzas were delicious - plenty of deliciously tempting toppings, excellent selection of wines and a buzzing ambience. Most satisfactory and we'll be back!
Amazing experience from start to finish. Waiter very helpful describing some parts of the menu when asked. Didn’t feel rushed to leave the table
Good space people wine ,,,food left a lot to desire
Food increasingly expensive. €25 for pasta is excessive
I didn't attend this lunch myself but the feedback was very positive.
Food was wonderful and the staff very attentive. We booked at the last minute and were not disappointed. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Dublin!
Food was poor. Ordered seafood pasta dish, approx two prawns in it cut up to make it look like more. Very little flavour.
Remains one of the best places in the Docklands for a business lunch. Best food by far, good ambiance, professional service allowing for efficient lunches, and the right amount of buzz without being someplace you cannot hear each other.
Great restaurant. Creative menu excellently accomplished. Very pleasant service. Good, extremely well priced and interesting wine list. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Amazing food, great service and the drinks menu can cater for all. Thanks team!
Great food but far too noisy. They need some soft furnishings to absorb sound. The vaulted ceiling doesn’t help!
Super food in a really pleasant environment staff are fantastic
Tasty food, nice setting, polite service, back of the room a bit dark and you can hear the dart every time, which is weird, and this is just personal opinion , but all in all a very nice place.
We decided to work our way through the starter menu rather than order mains, the roasted olives were a little weird bu other than that everything was excellent. Flavors were well balanced and portions were perfect even large for starters and we thoroughly enjoyed everything.
The noise level is high as the restaurant is built under a railway bridge but it really just adds to the charm of the room.
The space is very comfortable with really nice and well chosen lighting. The decor is understated but well suited and the wine list is small but very well chosen. We had a cianti that was rich and full bodied but so well balanced.
Finally the staff were absolutely charming and really completed the experience
I would advise anyone, families, friends night or romantic nights out with your partner
the new menu is really good but I think squid ink linguini should be on the menu again :)
Delicious food and excellent service for the pre theatre menu. That staff are excellent here and so friendly! Thank you for a wonderful meal out. This is my third trip back to Osteria Lucia and it never disappoints.
Super delicious, great cocktails & such good value. Excellent location for concert going!
Poor food, drinks and service, do not recommended.
The food was really nice and we all enjoyed it. Most of the time, the service was good, however at the end, a few of us had finished but there was one person still eating and the waitress started clearing up the other plates etc and even took the salt and pepper away, even though not everyone was finished eating.
Went to Osteria Lucia before starting a hiking trip across Ireland, and liked it so much, when we finished the trip, we went back (actually right to the same table). Great service, great food, good wine list... consistency seems to be the key here. A Winner across the board!11
The food was good, staff was nice, but the restaurant was loud and I’m not referring to the trains passing overhead. The noise was not as I expected from a nice restaurant. It resembled a pub.
Great place. Staff always friendly and efficient. Food always superb. Great spot for dinner before a show.
Gorgeous food and pleasant service! Really nice atmosphere
A great place to meet with friends/colleagues after work. Lovely food, friendly service, very relaxed.
Great business / recruiting lunch; excellent food, good environment, attentive / discrete service, facilitated conversation...
