Osteria Morini DC
Service fantastic, appetizer outstanding. Main entree’s average, not great. Both pastas and fish. Not worth the money or hype. Too bad was looking forward to it.
The food was delicious and the service excellent. We were seated prior to our scheduled reservation. Overall, the presentation was outstanding; the ambiance enchanting and the wine topnotch.
Service was responsive and perfect. A mix up in a dining companion’s order was handled promptly and appropriately. Food was very good and offered sufficient variety for four guests with diverse palettes. Will definitely return.
Excelente ambiente, deliciosa comida, muy buena carta de vinos
Outstanding Italian food with a view of the Anacostia River. Enjoyed the creamy burrata, Arctic char on a bed of black lentils and a trio of gelatos.
We had a leisurely 3hr Saturday brunch with friends at Osteria Morini. The food and service was amazing, as always. We were left alone to enjoy our catch up without interruption, but our server was always on hand when we needed something. This restaurant remains a favorite for our group.
Always a great time. First time for lunch and the deal couldn’t get better than $15 for exceptional pasta and a glass of wine. My friend is now a fan.
Excellent service and great location. I like the handmade pastas on the menu with all of the interesting combinations. Solid food however, there were some missed opportunities. I wanted a little more showing off by the chef and a more delicious wine selection.
Been many time, the food and service was outstanding!
Great service and great food. We’ll be back!
Food was great - my husband normally is not a big fan of Italian but he loved it too! Service was flawless. Ambience was good but little too noisy, would’ve been nice if we could hear some background music. Want to try brunch sometime soon.
Enjoyable environment. Great waiter. Delicious food.
Enjoyed our first visit to this restaurant. Menu choices were excellent and the food very good. The service was exceptional
This restaurant is one of my favorites in DC. I have never, since the opening of the restaurant, experienced an unappetizing meal. However, during my most recent visit, I ordered the grilled branzino. The fish was grilled perfectly but was placed on top of a bed of garbanzo beans! I love legumes! But not bland, al dente garbanzo beans. The dish was an absolute failure. When my food is disappointing the entire dining experience is affected. The perfect pairing of wine that night couldn’t revive the dish.
In addition, I noticed cooks handling food with their bare hands while also handling their mobile phones at the same time. Hygienically that’s a NO-even at home!
Great pasta, really good. Main waiter knew what he was doing ( true professional) but was very distracted due to an understaffed dining room. Other dining room staff were not well trained for a restaurant at this price point. The restaurant management needs to focus more on their waitstaff (training and enough to cover the dining room).
The food was delicious as always but it was missing the holiday spirit!
Great for lunch and dinner. Love it and recommend to anyone!
Jamie is a wonderful waitress! Love coming here! The food is amazing!
Fantastic & prompt service! Great menu and the food was excellent
Squid ink pasta was superb. Antipasti also excellent. Duck was a disaster
As usual everything was wonderful! Spending Thanksgiving with Osteria was amazing and the food was excellent!
We had Thanksgiving dinner here, so it was not the normal menu, but the food the last couple of times has not been at the outstanding level of earlier years. It is a great-looking place on the water, but really for 100 dollars a person including two glasses of wine and tip we felt like we had not gotten our money's worth.
I had seafood with pasta and a tomato sauce. It was wonderful.
Great location and excellent service.
Pasta was great. My chicken was a bit dried out. Wine list is pretty good. Not my favorite restaurant but worth going to.
The white truffle pasta was amazing!!!
This is one of my favorite restaurants in DC! It’s especially good for a date spot. As always, the food was excellent, and we had a great server, Frank. He was very helpful with recommendations and was very enthusiastic. I’ve had him as a server before and he’s always enjoyable.
Three birthdays in the family
Good food, good service, great atmosphere. Our first time there, we’ll be returning.
We had a wonderful time , beautiful place and ambiance . We sat outside and it was nice and warm with the heat lamp . The charcuterie boas was delicious and so was the food. Overall we had a wonderful time and meal.
Yum ! Pasta was amazing, we will be back.
My favorite lunch location in the Navy Yard area; they never fail to please. The food is outstanding and the noise level is perfect for a working lunch.
We sat at the bar and Hurman took such great care of us!!!! The food was delectable! We will be back!!!
Honestly, the experience was great. However, after a $160 bill, they needed our table and had the waitress tell us. She was so nice about telling us, and you could tell she was embarrassed. That was a first for me and honestly, didn’t leave the best impression.
Excellent service. They really embrace the team concept. Everyone pitches in to serve the customer. Food was delicious.
Great food, creative menu and reasonable size portions.
This place never disappoints. Great food and excellent wine list with reasonable prices. Their pastas remain outstanding. I highly recommend the gramigna and the cappelletti. The steak and osso bucco were stellar and all dishes are made to share.
