Osteria Romana by Andrea Reitano
Very nice place , small but nice atmosphere , great food !!
Before visiting this restaurant I saw few reviews. All very positive about the food and service with few negative comments about the prices so I was a bit worried.
Being completely honest I was surprised when the bill came- only £90 for two people with a bottle of wine ( including tips). The quality of the ingredients was great and staff was very friendly trying to make your evening special.
So great value for money and amazing quality and don’t forget this restaurant is in Knightsbridge.
Ps the best carbonara I have ever had in my life
It was a great evening full of lovely italian food and wine. We will be back.
Not exactly an authentic Italian place but service was great
Food was ok but more expensive than anywhere else in London that we ate in the week
If you like Roman cuisine, by all means come here. It was nothing special and over-priced. The waiter was friendly and helpful, although we struggled to get attention towards the end of our meal. They're a bit stingey when it comes to prawns in dishes. I would come here again but with no particular hurry as there are many better italian restaurants in the Knightsbridge area. Okay to Good, but not great and must try harder.
Great location, good for a romantic dinner, small and cosy. The service is excellent although some staff have thick Italian accents difficult to understand. The menu is limited but with a good selection. Food is very tasty and presented well. The place is not massively overpriced but a little expensive, especially for starters but remember you are in Knightsbridge
Some stand out dishes... best carbonara... the artichoke was very average, batter really thick and greasy, and the other dishes were good. Service was excellent and staff super knowledgeable about the menu.
Best italian in London. Great location, great food , friendly service , very Romantic and not expensive.
The truffle gnocchi is just incredible!
Dinner with our 19 yr old while on vacation - felt like we were dining in Italy!
Excellent. Great location just off main street. Cosy small restaurant. It's a little gem. Food is amazing, real Italian very tasty. We had parmigiana as starter and matriciana and meatball as main. We also tried a tiramisu. Really great place high recommended. Staff very kind and helpful.
The food was excellent and the service was very friendly and warm. The restaurant is quite small and had a lively atmosphere. Would most certainly recommend.
Unfortunately not good. Pasta was fresh but badly executed (runny cacio e Pepe and kind of smelly shrimp in my mums pasta). Veal was undercooked (basically raw in some parts). Good was a disappointment but the service was above average. They were very nice and didn’t charge us for the pastas so it seems they really do care, which means they are willing to improve the food standards. All the best to them and I’m sorry we didnt have such a great experience.
The atmosphere was great and really romantic. Appetisers were in the average and not worth the price. Good pasta and desserts but overall the bill was too high
lovely authentic little italian place - the italian waiter there is super nice and welcoming
Very friendly staff and fantastic flavors. Never been to Italy, but I would imagine restaurants would be just like this place.
Small and cozy with attentive service
Excellent Italian food, that even Italians love. The ambience is very romantic.
We had the most amazing valentines experience. Hugely recommend for an intimate, romantic and personal dining experience. Sylvia our waitress rocked!
It’s a piece of Rome in London. Lovely
Very Good and very traditional Italian cuisine, a rare find in today's restaurant scene, where "Traditional" seems to have a completely different meaning!
All was very good food quality Staff ambience and location too I will def come back
Very pleasant experience! Good food (although would not have minded a slightly larger menu), EXCELLENT service. We very much enjoyed it.
Location molto carina è uno staff molto accogliente e gentile
Nice warm and comfortable restaurant with friendly staff. Very good good and wine. Highly recommended.
It looks like such a lovely place from outside but it's very poor food and service. The Spaghetti Carbonara was burned. Avoid!
I liked the ambience a lot - quiet, cosy, friendly Italian, tucked away down a side street. Great to have this option on a Sat night in Knightsbridge. Our pasta mains were tasty but the starter was disappointing. Service was good. We enjoyed a nice evening here.
Pay attention to your bill just in case wrong expensive item was charged.
Food was large portion and service was fine.
May not come back for average food.
Outstanding experience. Italy in London... eating so good italian Food at £50 per head is unbelievable in Knightsbridge.
Exceptional night.. Sofia was brilliant and her advice on dishes was fantastic as was the food.. a little gem in Knightsbridge.
Hidden beauty in the hear of Knightsbridge. Cosy restaurant, top food. Outstanding service (Flávio in particular ) wich make Osteria Romana a special one.
Emotional Experience! Amazing food and great ambiance.
Manager who is bald and Italian was a bit rude and sarcastic. Other staff are nice. Amazing pasta
Best Italian cuisine in London by far, I go there at least once a week and never get tired! Lovely decorations and kind and friendly service!
Best carbonara I’ve ever had in London! Service is just perfect and warm, the ambiance of this small hidden restaurant reminds you of the eternal city! I’ll go back sono for sure!
This tiny venue deserves a high score! Not many places in London guarantee so high quality of food and service for honest prices, Osteria Romana does! And the ambience is lovely, fell in love for this place!
This the best Italian restaurant in London. The best because the food is amazing , the service is perfect , the ambiance is very romantic and it’s not overpriced like so many other restaurants in the area ( dinner for 2 is below 100£ with wine).
Porchetta is what you want to have when you go for a Roman restaurant and they’re making it just right! Lovely carbonara as well, I love this restaurant!
