It was a great experience but the restaurant was completely empty and food took 1+ hour after ordering
The outdoor ambience was absolutely lovely. It was very quiet, the service was outstanding, and the food was terrific.
Beautiful Italian food in Bryn Mawr. Everything was fe ah and homemade. So lovely.
This is a wonderful restaurant and in the right place at the right time! The food was so phenomenally fresh I thought we were on Capri or ocean side rather than Bryn mawr. Everything we had was seafood and was cooked perfectly. All was so tender and so fresh, delicious and light, impossible to describe. We had the polpo appetizer ( generous portion ), rucola salad, and the branzino in white wine beur Blanc. Lemony and buttery risotto with delicate garlic and super fresh frutti di mare. WOW. BYO so being a light, crisp bottle of sparkling. Ideal.
I choose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday with my family.
I ordered seafood pasta. Served 2 shrimps, 5-6 mussels, a few little squid and pasta. I think I expected more.
First dining out since COVID and there was also 'buzz' and excitement about this new restaurant, all I can say is that the food was so so disappointing. Hate to leave a negative review given the challenges restaurants and staff have faced, and it was just nice to be 'out' feeling somewhat normal again, but the truth is the baby octopus was borderline inedible (tough and fishy), the chicken francese was like chicken with scrambled eggs and I could go through dish by dish, but for any price it would have been disappointing, but at these prices and with the pedigree of this restaurant group, it really was unacceptable. Sorry...
Sat us 45 minutes after reservation. Kids were starving. Asked to bring their dinner with apps. Didn’t happen. 6:30 res got meals after 8.
Very overpriced mediocre restaurant.
Great location and decent service. The food needs a major re-adjustment and re-pricing.
My big complaint is the noise level. Sound proofing would help. Food was pretty good. Loved the artichoke appetizer. And the desserts delish! Service was great.
The food was awesome, service was great.
The food was delicious but they did not honor our reservation time. We sat 35 minutes after our reservation.
Our primary server was terrific--Ariel. However, the front desk and bus staff could be a bit more professional.
Service was outstanding. Food delicious and ambiance was pleasantly noisy. Can’t wait to visit again.
Tini is awesome!
Branzino was fantastic and service was excellent! Thanks
Excellent food. Every course was amazing.
The food was great, the server was great, what more needs to be said!
The food was wonderful once we got it. Service was not good, no silverware, and late reservation.
Food is great, service good. Need to get the details down we had to wait for over 30 minutes for a table on two occasions.
Outstanding new Italian BYOB restaurant! We really enjoyed the food; we ordered a Caesar salad and Frito Misto to start and both were delicious. Entrees included penne vodka with shrimp, gnocchi carbonara (out of this world!), scampi risotto and fettuccini Bolognese. All pasta dishes were fresh and hot with a beautiful presentation. Dinner was followed by a round of cappuccino and espresso in addition to tiramisu, which was brought out with a candle for my boyfriend's birthday. The ambiance was wonderful with tables spaced well apart and beautiful décor. The service was excellent and we did not feel rushed. We cannot wait to come back!
Perhaps just the post pandemic mania but service was off-
Felt very rushed-
Food was good though-
Will return for that.
Veal chop was one of the best I have has in awhile . Service was excellent and we were not rushed .
As Usual , everything great, especially my server,TIni.. he’ the best.. attentative, professional, and always serves hot food!! Cant go wrong here! Salute’ Bekem and staff!
The patio was very pleasant. What a much needed great Italian restaurant on the main line.
We had the Chicken Francese and Chicken Milanese (Piallard) Both dishes were good but not memorable. Presentation is basically slapping the chicken on the plate and that's it.
We ordered the bruschetta...there was so much red onion in the bruschetta we asked them to remove it from the table because the smell of the red onion was overwhelming. Basil, garlic, tomato, and Olive oil..is all you need for yummy bruschetta. The baby Kale salad was good, I asked for them to go light on the goat cheese.....I would hate to see how much goat cheese is normal. Our server was none existent, we continuously had to cal over ( the place was no busy) other servers. Redi Our server was never ready. We may go back to try the pasta, but right now there are plenty of Italian restaurants in Bryn Mawr!
This was our first visit and it was for lunch. We sat outside in a charming small area. The lunch menu is the same as the dinner menu, so can be pricey for lunch as side dishes are extra and entrees are mostly in mid to high twenties. However portions are generous and the quality of the food outstanding. Two of us had veal dishes and both thought it was the best veal we ever had. The other in our party had the pasta Pescatore and raved about it. Also the fact it is a BYO cuts down on the costs. We will most definitely go back - some of the best food to be found on the Main Line
Otto By Pulpi was fantastic! We had their Octopus special and their House Special Risotto as well as a cheese & charcuterie - everything was delicious. This place is BYOB - we’ll definitely be coming back with some nice Italian wine!
Great Food!!! I prefer eating outside. Not as noisy. Have eaten their twice. Great food and service.
Made another reservation already. Can't wait ti try again outside.
Food was great as was the service
Very very noisy
What a lovely little restaurant! My daughter and I celebrated my birthday in grand style. We opted for a table outdoors, which was delightful. The heaters kept us comfortable even though the temperature was a little chilly. We shared the calimari appetizer and enjoyed it. I had the flounder special and my daughter had the lobster ravioli and both were outstanding. The portions were generous and we were able to take a portion of our meal home to have the next night. The service was lovely and professional. We will definitely go back.
Have been there three times in the last 2 months. Food is excellent. However, the noise level is very high as in most of the restaurants that we go to. That seems to be the norm.
Looking forward to returning.
Otto by Polpo is a great addition to Main Line dining. The food and service are both excellent and the menu (tilted toward seafood and pasta) has something for everyone. The staff is very professional and clearly this is not their first fine dining experience. BYOB is a plus of course. The only negative is the fact that a full restaurant ( the norm the two times we were there) is very noisy. Floor covering would help but don’t let this keep you from trying this great restaurant.
This is my second visit since the recent opening and I am very pleased that this visit was the best overall. I have recommended the restaurant to three friends and all gave rave reviews. I have made a reservation for next week to celebrate my friend's birthday.
A wonderful dining experience.
This restaurant is new to our area. My husband and I decided on a last minute lunch. Wow! It blew our socks off. Every morsel of what we ate was superb! We can’t wait to go back!
Went for a birthday dinner on a Monday - busy but not loud. Everything we had was wonderful, service was great, and we are looking forward to going back and sitting outside. Would highly recommend.
Fabulous meal and great service. All in all a wonderful experience and cannot wait to return!
The outdoor dining area is fabulous, nice atmosphere for evening dining and great heaters. Food and service was excellent!
10 out of 10! I went for lunch and the service from Tini was spectacular and he made us feel so welcomed. I’m picky with Italian food and this restaurant exceeded my expectations and now this will be my go to restaurant for Italian food
Wonderful food and service. Unfortunately there was a loud party that made it difficult to talk. We ate indoors but there is a small outdoor seating. We had bruschetta and lasagna. Al we’re delicious. BYOB makes it a plus.
We had an wonderful time at this restaurant. Great food and great atmosphere. Highly recommend!
